I'm not a picky eater by any means, but the food was extremely underwhelming. I ordered the burger, and it had almost no flavor. My wife ordered the Philly cheesesteak, and it was topped with what tasted like individually wrapped processed cheese, which really took away from the sandwich. Our soft drinks were flat and served in very small plastic cups. For about $70 for two entrées and an appetizer, we expected much better quality. The outdoor seating was covered with picnic tables, which was a nice break from the Florida sun and probably the most comfortable part of the meal. The atmosphere, however, wasn't what we expected. The staff spent much of the time sitting at a nearby table using profanity, and we never felt particularly welcome. As visitors, we got the impression that locals were the priority and tourists were just passing through. The one bright spot was the property itself. Seeing the Key deer and colorful chameleons wandering around made for some great photos and was honestly the highlight of our visit. Maybe this is a better stop if you're looking for a place to grab a drink and enjoy the atmosphere, but based on our experience, we wouldn't come back for the food.

The bad: worst daiquiri I've ever had. Tasted like dirty water, not strawberry or rum honestly. I would skip the drinks (maybe stick to beer). The food was pretty good! Veggie tacos were tasty and great for vegetarians/vegans (with modification). Seafood tower for two was quite the deal - maybe too many oysters but the crab was to die for. Next time, I'd probably just get the crab. Poke nachos were incredible, according to my sister-in-law. Key lime pie was decent but not our absolute favorite. Overall, a good place for a group and a decent meal by the water!

I kept thinking, "till Big Pine Key, I've seen so many waterfront restaurants--so let's just head toward Key West, and if something looks tempting, we'll stop." That's when we spotted Kiki's. The big, bold sign caught my eye, and we took a right turn Parking was easy (lots of space), and the place had that classic tropical vibe--laid back, colorful, and vibing. The restaurant has two floors of dining plus outdoor seating. Near the entrance, there's a small stage for live music and a bunch of bright Adirondack chairs that really add to the chill atmosphere. signs for big cities (like 2000 miles to Quebec, haha) We got our table quickly, and since we were trying to make it to Mallory Square in time for sunset, we let our server know we were in a bit of a rush. Unfortunately, the service wasn't great, and we ended up spending about 55 minutes there, which felt longer than expected given our timing. We ordered: * Mahi Basket: - really good, and my wife loved it. * Snapper Sandwich: with crunchy fries and sauce - solid and satisfying, also great fish Overall, the food was good, the vibe was matching, and the whole setting was really nice--just the service didn't quite match. But honestly, if we hadn't been in a hurry, it probably wouldn't have bothered us. They also have a pier for boat parking, a small gift shop, and air conditioned bathrooms (haha). Nice spot!

The servers were very friendly but just seemed to take a bit longer to get around to things and some other places. This restaurant serves quite a variety of food. In our group someone had meatloaf, someone had manicotti, several of us had lobster sandwiches, and some had hog's head sandwiches. It's easy to sum all this up to say everyone found their food very tasty, even the meatloaf what she wouldn't expect from a seaside resort town LOL. It's a nice location on the water, so even though you aren't very far from the road at all it's very peaceful. I would definitely go back if I was in the area. So if you wanna save a little bit of money by stay here and drive into Key West that'll be fine. 2. It's right on the water so you can just wake up and look out the patio to see the water right there. 3. Comfy mattress. 4. Mini fridge Drawbacks: 1. No in-room microwave, to use a microwave we need to move our ass to the reception area which were like 3 minutes away. No big deal walking there but for a small place like charging $180/night could definitely afford to put a microwave in the room. 2. In room mosquitoes, I got mosquito bites and saw a mosquito flying near the bathroom sink. OK, so bugs are part of life in FL but mosquitoes spray doesn't cost that much $$$ and would make our stay more pleasant cuz it's like we were camping at a park and got mosquito bites, know what I mean? 3. We were really looking forward to trying this restaurant, but unfortunately our experience was…read moredisappointing from start to finish. The online waitlist initially estimated a 60-75 minute wait, not an issue, had a cocktail upstairs and really wnjoyed ourselves. When we checked in, we were told we were next eventhough thebonline portal told us to come. After waiting another 15 minutes, we were told our table was just being cleaned and to wait where we were. A few minutes later, another employee told us we had to move because a different party was holding the door open, so we ended up standing behind the bar with our backs against the wall. It just felt awkward and disorganized. When we were finally seated in the back room, we thought it would be nice since it was quieter, but it was extremely hot. I'm usually the person who is always cold, yet I was sweating through dinner. Service also left a lot to be desired. The food runner handed our hot dinner plates directly to us instead of placing them on the table. I was sitting at the opposite end of the table from him, so I had to reach out and take a hot plate. I even asked if it was hot, and he still practically dropped it into my hands. I had burned my fingers earlier that day, so it hurt!!.. but it was that or drop my pasta!? Our server also repeatedly reached across guests' faces to clear plates instead of walking around the table. At one point my sister didn't even realize she was there until an arm reached in front of her, which was awkward. To make matters worse, two of our dinners arrived about seven minutes before the remaining meals, so part of our table was left waiting while the others' food got cold. We asked for grated Parmesan for our two PASTA dishes. No one mentioned there would be a charge. It took another six minutes to arrive, and when the bill came we discovered we had been charged $2 per serving. We asked for two servings, but three were brought to the table--and we were charged for all three. Six minutes may not sound like much, but after already waiting for the rest of the meals, another delay while watching our server take new tables' orders instead of bringing the cheese felt frustrating. To end on a positive note, three of the meals were good. My mother-in-law really enjoyed the grilled wahoo, my husband liked the BBQ mac and cheese, and my sister liked the fried artichoke. Overall, it wasn't one major issue--it was a series of small service problems that added up and made for a disappointing experience. We hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.
