Good Starbucks spot with unique look outside and inside. It's attached to a hotel I think and parking is extremely limited and tight. Interior space is large with plenty of seating. Baristas were nice and very patient as one overly picky guest sent two drinks back for minor reason. I think one didnt have enough foam and then when they remade that, her "extra hot" drink had cooled and made them remake that. I could never but, the workers were extremely respectful. Starbucks is consistent pretty much much across the board and this one was as well. SKIP THIS LOCATION! This location is the prime example of "highway robbery". You will save 45% if you go to the next closest Starbucks 14 miles away. We ordered two ice coffee drinks, two breakfast sandwiches, and two small pastries for the bargain price of $47 dollars! The exact same order at the next closest Starbucks is only $30! The store building is very cute, islandish style, and inside is clean. Could they have two bathroom and it's clean except I ran out of hand napkin, but needs to be refill. The staff are nice and I think I forgot to order my drink should be cold so they made it hot but I told the barista that I like it cold and forgot to ask. I said to just put in ice but she was really nice and offered to make me a fresh new drink. She said it won't taste the same. She greeted her customers and me us traveler feel welcome. Located between the Postcard In and a boutique, this location is in a great spot, just as you enter into Islamorada. They are nice and clean with seating both inside and outside on the patio. The store is medium sized for the chain and has plenty of room. The staff was very friendly and helpful and my order was made perfectly. Things were served up quick and we were back on the road without an issue. I would definitely make a stop here on our way to / from the keys again. Despite an unconventional exterior for a Starbucks, this is a modern and welcoming location in the quaint Florida Key of Islamorada. My one word of warning is that prices are inflated well above most other US Starbucks locations including the one not too far away in Key Largo. It's an excellent place to use stars if you have them in your Starbucks Rewards account so that the inflated prices don't hit you as hard. They had plenty of stock on the "Been There" series of mugs for both Florida state and one specific to the Florida Keys. Given the number of quaint small business coffee shops with local flair in Islamorada and the other Florida Keys and inflated prices at this location in particular, I wouldn't recommend visiting this location unless there's a unique Starbucks drink you're really in the mood for or you want to pick up the nice Florida Keys Starbucks mug. read more

This appears to be a franchised location with none of the Starbucks experience so to speak. The girl making my coffee was more concerned with her broken acrylic and bandaid than making my drink. She did seem to make it to order albeit the printed order was not quite right as the girl taking my order was more concerned with her phone than my order so she missed the light cream. Clean, easily accessible on the way to Key West. They have a sign this is the last Starbucks for 80 miles. Prices were probably .50 cents more than more normal Starbucks. They had Orlando or Miami "been there series" mugs, funny because we weren't in either place. Caramel macchiato had a stronger taste than normal. Most all Starbucks would be 4-5 star but I deducted a star because of (gulp!) the prices!! They are owned by the resort Postcard Inn so they set the prices. A Frappuccino was $8+. I know we are living in inflation times but these prices had me reeling. A round of drinks for my boys would have been over $50! It was as if I was in some other foreign country. I left with a single cake pop and they took my Starbucks app on my phone and it rang up over $4 for one cake pop! Love the location, hate the prices. Even the employee mentioned that the prices aren't the regular prices you would see at a usual Starbucks location. They are a pass for most drinks other than a quick coffee. The cashier was on training and took forever to understand my order, then the "manager" prepared my latte with so little amount of coffee that I could taste the oat milk only. When I approached and tell her that my coffee wasn't strong as my regular latte (which I order everyday in my regular starbucks store) her answer was "that's how latte is" if you want more coffee pay for an extra shot. I told her it's ok just charge for it, she made me make a 12 people line to wait for my extra shot of coffee that btw cost almost $5. This place is over priced and the the attention is the worst. I was convinced they made a mistake because the beverages were so pricey. I even requested an itemized receipt, and there was no mistake. It seemed crazy to pay $10 for a large cappuccino with one extra shot. Three grande drinks cost me more than $30. I really should've read the other reviews before I stopped here, because this was definitely bottom of the barrel when it comes to my Starbucks experiences. As others have mentioned, this is a franchise location presumably licensed by the hotel next door -- prices are raised to a premium and you can't redeem rewards or earn points, so save the money on your Starbucks app or cards. This also means it isn't held to the same standard of quality as other locations, which definitely showed. I ordered a grande iced coffee with cream and vanilla, which is a relatively simple drink when compared to the rest of their menu. When I first got it, there was no flavor in it whatsoever. No big deal, mistakes happen, but that's not what I ordered. I went back inside and asked one of the baristas to please add vanilla, and I watched in horror as she proceeded to put 8 pumps of sweetener in my drink. The average amount in a grande drink, for reference, is 4 pumps. My coffee went from bland to so sickeningly sweet it was downright impotable. At this point the drink was beyond salvageable and had to be completely remade. Another member of my party went back inside on my behalf, and this time a different barista attempted to make my coffee. Lo and behold, once again the coffee was improperly sweetened, and this time it was as if LaCroix had made my drink -- flavor: hint of hint of vanilla. I didn't bother asking them to attempt the drink a fourth time. I find it deeply concerning that between two baristas neither was able to make one of the simplest beverages on the menu. Please do yourself a favor and get your caffeine fix literally anywhere else. read more
