Holy Moly...two great combinations in one cold treat a key lime pie dipped in chocolate and frozen, Oh Yes! The outside patio had a few tables and a key lime pie cart. The lime green painted building with bright white lights forced us to make an abrupt u-turn into the parking lot. The inside was extremely packed with a confusing long line to the ice cream scoop area then another line was to a cashier. Not sure what to do, we grabbed a frozen key lime pie dipped in chocolate from the cooler and hesitently went to the register instead of getting ice cream. The pie was soooooo good and glad we came here. Definitely a fun place to grab a tasty treat. Next time maybe I will make it into the ice cream room.
We just had to have a key lime pie, you just have to. Kids took ice cream, dolce du leche in a cone was HUGE! Pistachio ice cream in a cup, the teenager loved it. We also had the frozen chocolate covered lime pie, 3 chocolate truffles and a classic slice of key lime. Honestly it was a bit on the sweeter side for me, but it was good. Like 3.5 if that makes sense. The girls behind the counter were super sweet and gave the kids options to try the flavors.
A must try! The ice cream was delicious. We were in the keys for 4 days and we stopped by twice. They also have fudge, chocolate, key lime pie, etc. They were super friendly also.
We popped in on a Saturday afternoon and there was bit of a line. The two young men serving were courteous providing samples. I chose toasted coconut and cotton candy both of which were very tasty. The texture is chewy and tastes very fresh. They ran out of sugar cones so I went with the waffle cone which was also delicious. A double scoop waffle cone was $9.94. We also wanted coffee but they said they didn't know how to operate the machine so it was not available. The store also has chocolates for sale but they seem quite pricey, 6 medium size chocolate pretzels for $12.99. There's a couple of tables to sit at inside, in the corner, and a few more outside. Be aware was no restroom inside, a port-a-potty outside.
Stopped by Keys Chocolate & Ice Cream for a late night Key Largo treat! What a cute spot with a huge offering of sorbet and ice cream. If you're looking for key lime sorbet this might be your spot. There's Florida themed gifts and a big outdoor patio to sit and enjoy. Really impressed with how quick the service was!
Such a cute spot! We were looking around to try another slice of key lime pie in another place before leaving the keys and this was our final stop! It was good and we picked up a couple of truffles as well. The only thing was that the worker who helped us kept putting the wrong truffles in our box and we had to correct him at least 4 times before he got our full order right. Mind you we ordered 6 pieces in total. He did say they were no labels on his side of the counter so he had to guess which flavors we were asking for despite both pointing at them as we read the labels on our side of the counter. Otherwise they tasted real good and we're happy we chose here for our final stop before heading to Miami.
Yes your ice creams are good and the chocolate covered key lime is creative ingenuity but your store should welcome guests into a clean and tidy food establishment not a grossly dirty and messy store. Management, you can do better.
Keys Chocolates and Ice Cream was such a great experience. The ice cream is delicious and the server John was so friendly and helpful. Great service! Coffee Oreo was super strong but delicious, kind of like a european espresso ice cream flavor. Mixed with double fudge was a great combo. The outdoor seating with lights make it the perfect ice cream night spot. Highly recommend!
Super fun and cute shop with key lime pie (fresh or frozen whole pies and slices) ice cream, chocolates, fudge, and other fun food and gift items. The counter assistance was friendly and quick. The shop has both indoor and outdoor seating, bright bold colors, and an air of fun. The key lime pie was amazing and the smell of all the confections stays with you. Parking can be a little tough depending on time of day and how many people are visiting the urgent care next door but it's doable.
Honestly if there's one pit stop before leaving the keys behind it should be Keys Choclate & Ice Cream for their infamous Chocolate Dipped Key Lime Pie on a Stick! It's worth every bite & calorie consumed! Plus service is always sweet... figuratively & literally!!!
A local recommended Keys Chocolates for some delicious dessert. I absolutely love chocolate so we had to stop by for a sweet treat. They have a lot of yummy items inside. The ambiance is very colorful and supports local artists. There's ice cream in one side of the store and it looks like they have a signature Key Lime desserts which I unfortunately was not able to try because they contain something I'm allergic to. I got a box of 8 chocolates and 1 truffle for almost $30 with tax and I almost hesitated purchasing just because it felt kind of like a rip off TBH. I ended up getting some anyways to support the local business and just to try them and they were definitely good but no better than any other chocolates I've had for a better price. The service was good and we were helped but it didn't seem like the person knew too much about chocolate or what was going on when I asked for any recommendations and I asked him if he even liked chocolate and he said he never eats it so I was like alright I guess. Was it a red flag?? I wasn't sure. Overall, it was fun to try once.
The place looks enormous from the outside, simply because the signage is so huge and garish. You simply can't miss the place. They've got fancy chocolate bites inside, and candies and sodas, but you're probably here for the ice cream. They've got about 25 or more flavors and the ice cream is very good. You can get samples, too. No seating inside but there's plenty of outdoor seating.
Great shop to pick up sweet treats and a spectacular key lime pie. It is very clean and neat inside and has some seating indoors and outdoors as well. We took our pies to go and enjoyed them at home.

We finally tried this spot and it did not disappoint! There is ice cream, pies, and chocolates and more! So much variety and something for every craving. It's super kid‑friendly, and there's plenty of outdoor seating, which makes it easy to relax while the kids enjoy their treats. Just be ready for lines on the weekends, but it moves quickly and is worth the wait. Nice vibe and cool keys vibe. My toasted coconut on a waffle cone was amazing! read more

I got a waffle cone with piña colada and vanilla. Pretty good overall, though I liked the vanilla more. Cris got the dulce de leche in a cup and you can definitely taste the caramel in it. She also picked up some kind of Key Lime fudge as a souvenir for a friend back in New York, which seemed like a solid find. It is a nice little spot. Quiet, kind of quaint, and the staff is friendly. Mostly young people earning a living, and they were doing a good job of it. On the way in, I did not quite realize how close we were to the entrance and had to turn in fast. Ended up going over the grass a little to get there. Good times for someone still getting comfortable behind the wheel. read more

I really enjoyed this little chocolate shop and ice cream stand! They have souvenirs, ice cream, a taco truck! When we arrived it was busy with people purchasing homemade chocolate and ice cream. We were able to try different flavors of ice cream and the ice cream was delicious and homemade. It's a cute shop with indoor and outdoor seating and decorated nicely. Overall a chill experience. read more
Expensive location w/ semi inattentive staff. They have dairy free and gluten free flavors and options so we appreciated that! The ambiance is bright and fun and seemed to be a fav stopping place. I wish they were more friendly and welcoming given there are many other similar places to stop in, read more

I usually don't leave reviews, but this one deserves it. There is NO bathroom for customers. Instead, they expect guests to use a dirty, foul-smelling portable toilet outside. It was honestly disgusting and completely unacceptable for any food establishment. We're not talking about a quick stop in the middle of a festival , this is a well known ice cream location. How do you serve families with kids and not have a clean, accessible restroom available? This "restroom" isn't equipped for handicapped people at all. The ice cream might be okay but honestly, the lack of basic facilities shows a serious lack of care for customers.Get a real restroom or at least take proper care of the one you're offering. This is just embarrassing. Also the "double scoop" is a scoop and a half with a hallow cone. Didn't even want to give them one star. read more

This shop is super cute and you can't miss it driving through Key Largo because it's bright green. I tried the cotton candy ice cream and my mom tried the coffee oreo ice cream which we're both delicious. I'll be back to try more flavors. read more

Homemade Ice Cream / Free Samples / Counters and Cases filled with Chocolate Treats / Frozen Key Lime Pie geez how could I resist. I pulled into the parking lot a little after dusk on Thanksgiving Day so thankfully they were open, there's no missing this place right side southbound off the Overseas Highway it's lit up like the State Fair you don't need a GPS to get here. Once inside you may experience sensory overload, the ice cream counter is to the left, the chocolate is uhm every fricking where else, wall to wall floor to ceiling these guys don't fool around they are definitely committed to their craft. Our mission was clear - ice cream - I'm a pretty simple sell although I do like samples just to validate that I make the correct choice, my sample was the "toasted coconut" I almost committed but then I saw they had a banana based ice cream, my focused changed instantly and the lady serving knew it immediately. I prefer stand alone banana ice cream but it's rare, they always add something and that's okay especially if it's chocolate, our other choice was espresso and I knew I was getting a taste or two of that one because it's a sin not to share ice cream... read more

Such a fun and happy place to browse and buy from. Love all the bright colors! Easy to find on the Overseas Hwy because of its bright colors. We bought the Chocolate Covered Key Lime Pies on a Stick. They were really good. My daughter loved them! I liked them too but they were a bit too limey for me. I preferred the other brand in Key Largo as it was more creamy tasting with a hint of lime. Both are super good though. Depends on your taste buds. Easy parking right in front of the store! It was a delight. read more
This bright pink chocolate/ice cream store is easy to find. It is located at a corner of a street with plenty of parking all around. I liked the outside decorations. I had a good time taking pictures here. . . . . I stopped by to get ice cream however the sweet scent of chocolate was hypnotizing. It smelled so good in there. I got black cherry ice cream that had cherries inside. This was a good-looking ice cream. It tasted okay. . . . The toffee crunchy cookie tasted good. It was a good cookie. I wish I had bought more and it was big. . . . Inside the store they had many chocolates, many flavors. I saw rum cakes and other things like key lime ice cream. It was a nice store to check out. I am glad I did. . . . . The bathroom was located outside and it is a small portable. It was dirty and I did not liked how it was maintained. read more

Key Largo Chocolates: bright pink & green, flamingos, neon signs, big fun letters....the building is a sight for your eyes on Overseas hwy and the treats inside are a delight for your sweets-craving taste buds. A classic. Key Largo is my second home, and I am very fond of its local businesses. Though Key Largo Chocolates has only been around since 2010, it is a haven that is loved and treasured by locals and tourists alike. The fun decor really draws you in. Flamingos everywhere. Big, bold, fun letters. Neon signs. Pink & green everywhere. Then when you walk in, chocolate everywhere! As one of the biggest chocolate lovers on the planet, this place is heaven to me. There are so many treats to be had at Key Largo Chocolates: a huge variety of chocolates themselves (truffles, fudge, caramel, etc), key lime pie, chocolate-covered key lime pie on a stick, key lime pop, key lime candy, so much ice cream, milkshakes, and sometimes they even have spiked milkshakes. Yum! I absolutely LOVE the chocolate-covered key lime pie on a stick from here. They sell it not only at their store, but you can find it at many local stores, hotels, and restaurants as well. We usually come here for late-night ice cream. They're typically open until 11pm which is much later than most places in the area, and fantastic when you want that late night cold ice cream after a hot day out on the boat. Nothing beats the feeling of a refreshing, sweet ice cream after a Keys day. read more

Take out for gluten free key lime pie and other tasty treats: I felt like a kid in a candy store (which I was!). I LOVE Key lime pie and found out they had a gluten free version during a day trip to Key Largo. It's very good, with graham cracker crust, tart and creamy filling, and hint of whipped cream on top. The very crumbly crust gives away that it's gluten free, but it didn't bother me. I also enjoyed a couple of dark chocolate pieces (filled with birthday cake, rum, key lime, and my fav; caramel) and heard the ice cream was good. It wasn't my #1 key lime pie of the trip, but it was the right balance of sweet and tart, it was gluten free, and I'd happily eat it again. Tip: Call to confirm they still have GF pie before heading over; staff were friendly, helpful, and patient. read more
