I got a waffle cone with piña colada and vanilla. Pretty good overall, though I liked the vanilla more. Cris got the dulce de leche in a cup and you can definitely taste the caramel in it. She also picked up some kind of Key Lime fudge as a souvenir for a friend back in New York, which seemed like a solid find. It is a nice little spot. Quiet, kind of quaint, and the staff is friendly. Mostly young people earning a living, and they were doing a good job of it. On the way in, I did not quite realize how close we were to the entrance and had to turn in fast. Holy Moly...two great combinations in one cold treat a key lime pie dipped in chocolate and frozen, Oh Yes! The outside patio had a few tables and a key lime pie cart. The lime green painted building with bright white lights forced us to make an abrupt u-turn into the parking lot. The inside was extremely packed with a confusing long line to the ice cream scoop area then another line was to a cashier. Not sure what to do, we grabbed a frozen key lime pie dipped in chocolate from the cooler and hesitently went to the register instead of getting ice cream. We popped in on a Saturday afternoon and there was bit of a line. The two young men serving were courteous providing samples. I chose toasted coconut and cotton candy both of which were very tasty. The texture is chewy and tastes very fresh. They ran out of sugar cones so I went with the waffle cone which was also delicious. A double scoop waffle cone was $9.94. We also wanted coffee but they said they didn't know how to operate the machine so it was not available. The store also has chocolates for sale but they seem quite pricey, 6 medium size chocolate pretzels for $12.99. There's a couple of tables to sit at inside, in the corner, and a few more outside. Such a cute spot! We were looking around to try another slice of key lime pie in another place before leaving the keys and this was our final stop! It was good and we picked up a couple of truffles as well. The only thing was that the worker who helped us kept putting the wrong truffles in our box and we had to correct him at least 4 times before he got our full order right. Mind you we ordered 6 pieces in total. He did say they were no labels on his side of the counter so he had to guess which flavors we were asking for despite both pointing at them as we read the labels on our side of the counter. Just before leaving the keys I stopped to get some treats. Keys chocolate and ice cream was recommended by a friend and definitely worth it. The place is decorated in bright pink and neon green signs which you can't miss. The cashier was nice. I opted for a whole key lime pie to bring back to the family, which was delicious! A local recommended Keys Chocolates for some delicious dessert. I absolutely love chocolate so we had to stop by for a sweet treat. They have a lot of yummy items inside. The ambiance is very colorful and supports local artists. There's ice cream in one side of the store and it looks like they have a signature Key Lime desserts which I unfortunately was not able to try because they contain something I'm allergic to. I got a box of 8 chocolates and 1 truffle for almost $30 with tax and I almost hesitated purchasing just because it felt kind of like a rip off TBH. I ended up getting some anyways to support the local business and just to try them and they were definitely good but no better than any other chocolates I've had for a better price. The service was good and we were helped but it didn't seem like the person knew too much about chocolate or what was going on when I asked for any recommendations and I asked him if he even liked chocolate and he said he never eats it so I was like alright I guess. We asked to talk to a Manager & none on premises. So he called his manager & they agreed to give him a different flavor . After a minute of looking the 2 employees realized the double chocolate chip, double fudge brownie & chocolate were all just chocolate cus apparently they were out of the other 2 flavors !! I usually don't leave reviews, but this one deserves it. There is NO bathroom for customers. Instead, they expect guests to use a dirty, foul-smelling portable toilet outside. It was honestly disgusting and completely unacceptable for any food establishment. We're not talking about a quick stop in the middle of a festival , this is a well known ice cream location. How do you serve families with kids and not have a clean, accessible restroom available? This "restroom" isn't equipped for handicapped people at all. The ice cream might be okay but honestly, the lack of basic facilities shows a serious lack of care for customers.Get a real restroom or at least take proper care of the one you're offering. This is just embarrassing. Also the "double scoop" is a scoop and a half with a hallow cone. Didn't even want to give them one star. read more

Our mission was clear - ice cream - I'm a pretty simple sell although I do like samples just to validate that I make the correct choice, my sample was the "toasted coconut" I almost committed but then I saw they had a banana based ice cream, my focused changed instantly and the lady serving knew it immediately.
