Out here visiting friends in key largo. This was towards the end of the week long trip so got to try food around the keys. We're from Southern California. Mexican food and Mexican food trucks everywhere especially where I live Coachella valley. Honestly wasn't really too pleased with most of the food offerings in the keys. So when we decided on this I was fine with it because it seemed simple and hard to mess up. And yeah it was what I expected and I was happy with it . Service was somewhat quick. Prices can't remember but probably your typical prices for Mexican food truck food. I've eaten a lot of Mexican food and this was nothing amazing but I'm sure most people will like it when trying it. I did.

It took me until the ride home from another visit to Tacos Jalisco to realize I never reviewed them. How - Dare - I !!! It's time to give this wonderful taco food truck the flowers they deserve, because, man oh man, these tacos are worth driving to Key Largo for - Every, Single, Time! This truck started small and has since expanded to three locations throughout the Keys. They've grown for a reason: authentic and flavorful tacos. Our favorites include shrimp, barbacoa, carnitas, and fish. We always roll-up with our dearest friends and never skip sharing one of their nachos, and we switch up the protein to match our mood. The tacos are the perfect size to me --they may seem small to some at first, but after three, you're good. They've never disappointed and are always on point. Be sure to stop whether it's on your way in or out of the Keys.

Nice authentic tacos. You can get gluten free corn tortillas or regular flour. Best eaten fresh!

Omg best tacos I've ever had I had fish tacos pork tacos and beef tacos i think I had all the tacos. And they were all- fire. 100000/10 would recommend I love this place. Wish I didn't live so far I would live there.

We stop here every time we visit the keys! Their food offers authentic Mexican cuisine with Mexican sodas. Service is quick and friendly. The meat is so well seasoned you don't even need a sauce packet!

This is not my first time going and it never disappoints. Everyone is very nice and although a food truck they have a seating area outside. The food is great the chips are perfect and I'm a big fan on the guacamole, I didn't love the queso but other I was with loved it. The mahi tacos were good and I LOVED the Al pastor taco as well. The nachos were my favorite I highly recommend.

My friend and I have been coming to this taco truck for the past 3 years every time we are in the keys! They have the most delicious tacos, burritos, drinks and more. The food is always made fresh and the service is amazing. The location and area around it is so cute, all I would ask for is more limes for the tacos!

This is mine and my husband's favorite place to eat! Even though it's a food truck, we'll pick Tacos Jalisco over a sit-down or fast food spot any day! The tacos and burritos are absolutely delicious, amazing flavor and always fresh. Their homemade pico and salsas are delicious. They also have homemade horchata and juice, I love the pineapple and watermelon juice but they have many different flavors depending on the day and season. The staff is AMAZING, so friendly, funny and they make the experience even better. There's a covered seating area too, so you can enjoy your food without worrying about the sun or rain. If you're ever in Islamorada, they've got a location there too right next to a brewery. Picture: pineapple juice, chips salsa and half my burrito in a box. I forgot to take a picture when it came out. The burrito is big enough to share or if your really hungry perfect for one person!

Man, this is the perfect fast lunch option in Key Largo. We stopped by for some tacos and they hit the spot. The staff was so friendly and efficient, and our order was ready quick. The cucumber juice with lime tasted so fresh. There is a nice shaded area right off the truck with tables and chairs, so we decided to eat there even though we ordered it to go. Tacos Jalisco hit the spot again!

Needed a quick bite before heading out of the Keys and this was just right. The food was very inexpensive and quick. They were out of fish tacos so my husband got the shrimp and said they were good. I got the veggie burrito and very much appreciate the separate vegetarian list of items available. Could have used a little more avocado and less rice but overall satisfied and great selection of Jarritos flavors!

We started with potato skins, a special, they were huge, hot and delicious. We split the shrimp risotto with mushrooms in a Alfredo sauce, plenty for 2, the shrimp was perfectly cooked and the dish served hot! The only improvement I can suggest would be crisp up the garlic bread that was served on the side. Do not miss this spot in Key Largo

We ate inside (Floridians like us know better than to expose ourselves to the heat and No See Um's outside at dusk). We thoroughly enjoyed the inside ambiance. Well done. The spacious patio out back did also actually look nice. I wanted to give this 5 stars but my husband was not impressed by the taste (or lack thereof) of his bacon burger so I had to take away a star. I had a delicious Woodrow Chicken sandwich piled high with their signature onions and bbq sauce. When they brought it out, I wondered how I could possibly get the huge thing into my mouth. It was enormous (see photo) and tasty. I cut it in half and ate leftovers the next day. Service was good except our waitress did seem to struggle a bit. She either could not hear us or did not understand us (language issue?). At least she kept asking us until she understood. I do appreciate that. We were skeptical but our order came out right, yippee! We even splurged by getting dessert. Can't pass up chocolate cake when it appears on the menu (rarely). It was a beautiful presentation (see photo)! Next time you are in Key Largo, give these folks a try. You won't be disappointed.

At the recommendation of friends, our Day 1 Supper was at Mrs. Mac's Kitchen II (also called Mrs…read more Mac's Kitchen (Big) on Google Maps). Having arrived at 4:30pm, we were immediately shown to a table and informed about the happy hour specials. Not normally ones to drink much on vacation, my wife and I instead opted to live in the moment and enjoy the island life, especially since it was 30 degrees when we left Ohio that morning. As such, we each ordered a rum punch (pictured), while my best friend ordered a Bulliet old fashioned and his wife a house margarita. With drink orders out of the way, Deja, our absolutely delightful waitress, took our food orders: sauteed seafood combo (for my wife), backyard BBQ burger with coleslaw (for me), burger and fries (for my BFF and his wife, who -unlike us- were smart enough to save room for dessert). While waiting for our meals, we took in the ambiance of the restaurant, and wow was there a lot to take in! First off, we loved how the old Pizza Hut building had been repurposed and transformed into the embodiment of the tropical island lifestyle. From the display tables showcasing seashells and historic Florida Keys photos, to the license plate light fixtures, to the ceiling-mounted blue sky and clouds panels, to the fish hanging in front of each distinctively Pizza Hut trapezoidal window, we loved it all! When our food arrived, it looked fantastic and tasted even better. My wife described her seafood combo as being excellent, with the Caribbean lobster "almost as good as the ones we get in Maine." Likewise, her fish was fresh and delicious, while the shrimp were succulent. My burger was cooked to a perfect medium-rare and was topped with expertly caramelized onions and bacon with just the right amount of crispness to it. My coleslaw side was also excellent, with the perfect balance of creaminess and zing. Our friends also said their burger and shoestring fries were fantastic. To round out our meal, each of the four of us ordered pieces of Key Lime Pie, which was some of the best I have ever had in my life (and I have eaten a lot of Key Lime Pies!)! Throughout our meal, Deja checked on us often without being overbearing, and kept the drinks flowing. All told, for 5 drinks, 3 entrées with sides, and 4 slices of Key Lime Pie, our bill before tax, tip, and credit card surcharge was $163.93. Considering the excellent food and outstanding service we received, the four of us universally agreed it was well worth the price! Pros: outstanding service, fantastic flavours, great atmosphere, and the 2-for-1 drinks during happy hour were a great deal! Cons: none! Overall we rate Mrs. Mac's Kitchen as being Excellent and cannot wait to go back!

Not like, they didn't wipe it down, but more like it had never seen a deep clean and stuff just kept accumulating. I had the shrimp and corn chowder. It was very watery. We enjoyed the desserts. I'm not sure if I would come back though. I'm just wondering if the whole restaurant is dirty like our table.
