We stopped by this food truck on our way headed back home and were delightfully surprised by how friendly and delicious the food was. While we had a difficult time communicating with the sweet woman running the truck, she was happy to jump out from behind the counter and look at the menu with us as we ordered. The café con leche was delicious and strong, and the food serving sizes were huge. She suggested we try the fish croquettes and they were so yummy! Think: local fish dip deep-fried. We were caught off guard, though, as we left and realized that we didn't pay when ordering. I'm not sure if this is always the system but if you are anything like us, we cleared our plates and headed to the car because we thought we had paid. What a great place just on the side of the road! So glad yelp pointed it out to me with 4.8 stars had to try it. We had classic cubans (mine without ham) and sweet plantains. Yum! Also very clean tables and hand sanitizer in each which is nice. Easy parking right next to the spot. read more

The chicken was overcooked and burned. I asked to change, so the lady said she has no more, when I kept standing she said ok, she started to cook new one. I got the new chicken in two minutes overcooked and dry as previous one:) The funny thing is that they had there photo-session of their menu, and the food that was prepared for pictures looked differently. I ordered Cafeteria La Guajira through uber eats for delivery. The mango smoothie was amazing and very fresh and the croqueta preparada was flavorful, melty, and still hot. The croquetas used for the sandwich were awesome. I'll definitely order again and hopefully I'll be able to check out the truck in person soon! read more

We ordered the ropa veija, fried chicken, and pork steak accompanied with moro, boiled yuca (full of flavor), maduro and rice and beans. Even ordered a mango shake.
