Loved this place and apparently so does everyone else bruscas this place was packed!!! Tiny storefront store with just the perfect amount of options to choose for. It's an order at the counter and find a place to sit in the back. They have pastelitos, coffee, smoothies, breakfast bowls, sandwiches and burritos. It was all perfect. My only comment, it took about 30ish minutes to get our food. So be patient! Would go again!

Super delicious Cuban cafe serving a ton of good food in huge portions too. Their baked goods look great. I tried the pan de Bono and truly enjoyed the texture and warmness. The breakfast sandwiches are about half a loaf of Cuban bread for a great price. They also have oat milk. The place is small but they have tables inside and by the canal.

Amazing food and staff! We ordered a Isla Morada bowl, grate breakfast option for two. Additionally we ate two bacon croquetas, a ham and cheese empanada, and shredded beef empanada. Amazing! All the good tasted authentic and fresh. Also we ordered a Spanish latte and Nutella latte. We liked the Nutella more because we prefer beverages low in sweetness, but highly recommend everything. Music is 80s vibes with an upbeat to eat.

If it's your first visit, start with the ropa vieja, the masita de puerco, or their Cuban sandwich--pressed perfectly, loaded with flavor, and absolutely worth the hype. You really can't go wrong. On my last visit, I tried El Jefe--think of it as a wrap stuffed with rice, black beans, chicken or pork, and platanitos. Trust me, you'll thank me later. And whatever you do, put their homemade mojo on everything. It's so good I buy bottles to take home. This little gem never disappoints: great service, incredible food, and a nostalgic vibe that just hits right every time.

Our server was friendly and helped us get our favorite guava pastries. Their prices are very reasonable here. They were fresh baked and smelled so good! They also have Cuban coffee, iced and hot. They make delicious cakes and donuts. And the favorite there is the Cuban Sandwich, which is generously filled with ham, shredded pork, pickle, cheese and crusty bread. They also have pastelitos and croquettas. Parking is right in front of the super cute casa restaurant. There is outdoor dining and a few tables inside also. They have a drive-in also. We had two breakfasts here as well as drinks and dinner. The food is top-notch. Good little surprises, like the use of guava instead of maple syrup on the French Toast. The decor is lovely; clearly Cuban but nice and clean, a modern-take on Cuba. The staff are excellent. If you're here for drinks, have a Guava Mule. Why have the same old same old Mojito; try something different. Just be aware: If memory serves (It's been two weeks since we checked out of the hotel), Cana adds an 18% gratuity to ALL checks. So look at your check BEFORE you calculate the tip.

Seated by the friendly Matre D - we were in a booth near the bar, an excellent spot. We moved on to the mussels ~we could have had straws and drank the broth , it was nothing short of amazing. The server was so personable - we asked about their Cuban Sandwich which wasn't on their dinner menu. They said they were available via special request and we were all in. The Cuban sandwich was nothing short of amazing- the best we've ever had. The bread, the flavor of the ingredients, then we dipped them into the clam sauce, I can't tell you how good it was. The entire experience was absolutely amazing- the restaurant had a cool decor- but the vibe was the people who work there- 100% recommended!

I was happy to see some plant based options, but disappointed that in a Mexican restaurant no bean dishes were offered and would definitely have liked to see more vegan or vegetarian options. A hummus that came with a large plate of crudites was good, but definitely not Mexican. All dishes we tried were really good, although the prices seemed high for the size. There was a show of flame throwers which probably accounted for some of the price going towards.

Chug's is the kind of place that screams comfort for food. There is nothing fancy here. Just beautiful, indoor and outdoor seating in a diner type atmosphere with excellent food and even better service. I must admit that, even in major cities like New York and Miami the parking gods smile on me. As is strangely usual for me, as I drove up to the restaurant on a busy Sunday morning, someone pulled out only steps away from my destination, leaving me a space to pull into. Walked up to the restaurant since they do not take reservations on Sunday mornings and put my name in. I was informed of the wait, which was not a problem because it was a beautiful day to walk around. I peruse the neighborhood, seeing other lovely restaurants and shops before being informed that my table was ready quite quickly. It was a gorgeous day to sit outside, but the first table that opened up was indoors, and it was kind of nice to enjoy the ambience of an old style diner. Perused the menu, which was quite nice, but told I could only order from the brunch menu, which was a little bit restrictive. We ordered La Completa with smoked salmon, a pancake with Nutella and bananas, and a milkshake and french fries for dipping pleasure. Everything was excellent. Service was over the top good. Really enjoyed it and will be back. I always feel I have to explain why I leave four stars instead of five at a restaurant that I love. In this case it is specifically because there was nothing creative about the pancake. They start with an exquisite preparation, but do nothing to make it extraordinary. For example, served with fruit compote and nuts or ice cream and sliced fruit or any other creative arrangement could really elevate the dish, making it both picture worthy and enticing to return to try more options. Despite that minor criticism, I really love this place and will be back and even try other meals here. Oh and don't forget to hold my parking space.
