The music combined with the cute picnic style tables and plants make it incredible. They have a monarch butterfly friendly garden and are growing fresh veggies and herbs onsite. We discovered this place on our way back to Miami from Key West. At first, the exterior--resembling a hippie-style food truck--made us a bit hesitant. The gentleman who took our order was incredibly pleasant. We ordered two of his recommendations to go and ate them in our car; the taste was far better than we had imagined. It was clear that they are passionate about vegan food; their creative dishes reflected a genuine confidence and conviction in the flavors they create. Seaside Eatery is my spirit animal. This glorious vegan breakfast/lunch spot is a beautiful oasis of love, warmth, and flavor - perfect for a vacation to the Keys. Most of the ingredients are local and house made, and some of the produce is grown onsite or nearby. Their coffee drinks are smooth and inventive (tarro root latte, anyone?) and there are SO many items on the menu one could visit multiple times a day for months without even beginning to tire of the options. After much review and deliberation I ordered an acai bowl - unmodified, which comes standard with vanilla almond granola, strawberries, bananas, pineapples, and toasted coconut. My dining companion dressed hers up with almond butter, chia seeds, and coconut nectar drizzle. Pricing is reasonable for house made, vegan magic, and there is plenty of outdoor seating in the shade, perfect for settling in to enjoy one's chosen delights. I do wish they offered self-serve water, rather than just bottled water, as it would be nice to save a little plastic. Other than this one wrinkle, Seaside Eatery is hands-down a must-visit vegan dining destination. read more

Seating is outdoors so it can be quiet or loud depending on your company. Got the tempeh sandwich: 3.5 stars. Decent flavor. Thick slice of tempeh. Bread tasted fresh. Falafel pita sandwich:4.5 stars. Both my daughter and husband enjoy it, which is rare that they would both like it. Very nice tzatziki sauce. Chickpea salad: 4 stars. My mom enjoyed this. Stopped by again since I was in the area on Sunday and loved it! This time I ordered pick up and it was ready when I got there. I ordered the B-fast Munchwrap and it was absolutely delicious. Between this breakfast dish and the one I ordered previously, I think I like this one a bit more. The black bean spread with the Cumin Cilantro Aioli was just such a nice touch!! I saw this little truck while passing by on the road, I immediately googled the name and was thrilled to see they serve coffee and breakfast. The atmosphere is so cute! I loved that after I ordered I was able to swing in a tree swing and wait. The black sugar latte is phenomenal. Food is all fresh and made to order . Unfortunately they are closing for a month for the birth of their child and tourist season . Either way I am not mad at them . I will be back regardless . Trying to find vegan food isn't always easy and when you're in unfamiliar territory, you hope for the best. Nestled among the trees, just off US 1, this little food truck delivered a variety of options. I had the power bowl and my friend the falafel sammie. Both were made fresh and were full of flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed trying it and would have been happy to have an order to myself. I opted for the hummus sandwich. The bread was so thick but fluffy, the hummus very well made, and the sandwich was stacked with crisp veggies. We ordered the peanut butter jelly for our son, loaded with delicious bright red strawberry jelly and peanut butter, on more thick, fluffy, perfectly toasted bread. However given that the entire menu was vegan, just browsing was making my mouth water. Everything looked scrumptious!
