Summer roll with shrimp and pork and the best dipping sauce
    Teri L.

So excited Miss Saigon reopened. We finally made it out and I can't say enough about how delicious everything was. Started with Shrimp chips and a summer roll. The main was the chicken lemongrass curry. Ordered it with extra sauce and it did not disappoint. Service was friendly and fast which is greatly appreciated. Can't wait to come back with our friends who would regularly visit the previous locations with us.

This is a hole in the corner and the service is phenomenal and quick. We got there and although it was packed we were sat pretty quickly. I'm recovering from the flu and needed a magic soup and this definitely helped. The veggie rolls were crunchy and crispy and come with a great sweet sauce. The environment was pretty calm.

Everyone here is so welcoming and friendly! While I was waiting for my order, they offered me some water. Open restaurant with a good amount of tables. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee (iced coffee with condensed milk) with the black boba. 10/10 it was so good and perfect pick me up. I was stuck between ordering the regular grilled pork and the bbq pork. I ended up going for the bbq pork per the employee's recommendation. The pork itself was soft and tender. The roll was also soft and fresh. Something was missing and i can't think of what it is. It didn't have the strong cilantro flavor that banh mi usually does, or maybe a sauce was missing? I will try the grilled pork next time.

Finally made it here for a papaya salad. I absolutely love them and once I heard they put an extra touch on there's I had to try. So we started with the spring rolls which were absolutely delicious and crunchy and jusy full of flavor. We had 3 pieces each and still wanted more. You have to try them and they come with this clear sauce that's sweet but gives it the perfect balance of savory and sweet. The papaya salad caught me a little off guard as they add pork and mint to there's. I opted to 86 the pork but keep the mint. I won't lie at first I wasn't feeling it at all. But once I added a little extra heat to it ( BTW they add no heat unless requested and the number goes up to 8) and mixed it all up it was really good. It also came with shrimp chips to help keep the heat to a distance. Service was swift and friendly and you sit where you want. It's the perfect spot for an authentic experience and friendly atmosphere

Great Vietnamese food! Each plate we got was filled with lots of flavor, veggies, protein, and was shareable. The service was absolutely amazing. The owner is very sweet and cares about the quality of the food and making customers happy. The ambiance was good as well; it's family-owned so everyone was so friendly with one another and very helpful. I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Tried Miss Saigon for the first time and wow -- everything was so fresh and full of flavor! The owner was super nice and helped us pick what to try since we'd never had Vietnamese food before. Every dish was a hit. Can't wait to go back and work my way through the menu!

I was out and about with my family and we got hungry. My kids love Asian food so we decided to stop in at Miss Saigon. We started with the clam appetizer. This was a fan favorite. Everyone at the table enjoyed it. It had a delicious taste. We all wanted more. For my main meal I had the pad Thai. It had a good balance of flavor a little dry but still good. My kids had the seafood pho which they said the broth was delicious. My son-in-law had the beef pho which he also said had really good broth. We all enjoyed ourselves. I would definitely come back if I was in the area.

Came here on a friend's suggestion, left here excited to come back. Miss Saigon has a legacy of quality Vietnamese food and their newest location delivers on all levels. I had the Pho Buddha for dinner, and it was a flavor bomb; brimming with fresh herbs, veggies, spices, and a masterfully crafted broth. It was everything I could have asked for on a cold Miami night. Yet, what really sealed the deal for me was the customer service. Everyone working the front-end was beyond cordial and are genuinely great people who truly care about their food and our experience. That alone would keep me coming back. I can't wait to explore more of the menu!

The food at Miss Saigon left much to be desired but the service was very friendly and welcoming. We came by for dinner recently and the restaurant was not very busy. There is a selection of Asian buns and other baked goods along one of the walls. Service was very friendly, but the food came out very slowly given that we were one of two parties in the restaurant at the time. There were two servers that appeared to be in training. They were very sweet but a bit awkward. I think this spot opened recently though so that is understandable. The food was so expensive, I was shocked. $18 for beef pho?!! I ordered the miss Saigon bowl and tried a bite of the chicken salad, banh xeo, summer rolls, and dac biet banh mi as well. The pho broth was not super beefy and was cloudier than I expected. The aromatics were nice but the noodles were over cooked, as if they had been sitting in the bowl a bit too long before they were brought out to us. The major problem, however, was that the tendon tasted totally funky! I was not able to eat it and had to take it out of my bowl. The other meats were good. The banh mi was oddly bland, and the bread was very tough, though it had a good amount of filling. The owner of the restaurant came out to explain the banh xeo to us, and even offered to cut it up. The oil it was fried in was not fresh, and the surface was unevenly cooked with some burnt bits. The dipping sauce was very light on fish sauce, I think it could have used a bit more. The summer rolls were good, very light and nicely rolled. The sauce was more hoisin forward than peanut forward, but was good regardless. Because the price and the long wait, I didn't have the best experience at Miss Saigon. I did hear the owner speaking to another table and providing excellent service, so I can tell she is great at interacting with customers, especially those that have not had Vietnamese food before. However, the food fell short for me personally.

What an experience…read more I had heard about Tam Tam from friends and had been on my radar for a while. This is a place for which you basically need a reservation, and they are not easy to come by. We ended up visiting at 5:30 p.m. to be able to grab a spot, and since before the restaurant opens, you can see people waiting for their reservations. You are first greeted at a window outside the restaurant, and as soon as you walk in, you are transported. The music, the decor, the aromas -- it feels like you are someplace else. A great atmosphere to enjoy a meal with your partner or with small groups of friends. I do want to highlight that the service was spotless since that first greeting at the window, to getting you to your table, going over the menu, and explaining the concept; they made sure we had a great experience throughout the meal. But what really sets Tam Tam apart is the food. The menu is short but accommodating, with options for everyone. Small dishes go for around $20 each, while large dishes go for around $40; you can expect to spend around $40-50 per person on food. We tried the Lotus salad, the Shimeji Mushroom, the wings, and the "wrap situation". I would say they were all +4.5 stars. Each of the dishes offered a unique flavor profile, not only amongst them but also from other restaurants you will try, making it truly a remarkable experience. At Tam Tam, you can notice their attention to detail; each dish is carefully crafted, balancing freshness, textures, spice, all combining in an explosion of flavor in your mouth. All in all, go on Resy right now and book a spot. Tam Tam is definitely a worthy experience. My Criteria 5 stars: The best food I have ever had, or an excellent option given the price. 4 stars: Good food, a restaurant I look forward to trying again. 3 stars: Good food, a restaurant that I am indifferent to. 2 stars: Below average experience, will not go again. 1 stars: This restaurant should be closed.

As a Vietnamese person, the menu screamed contemporary, flavorful, and new, and I wanted to try all of it. The host was friendly and prepped us for a 30 minute wait that ended up lasting maybe 10. It may have helped that we weren't too picky about spots and ended up getting seats at the bar, which gave us easy access to the already attentive bartenders. We had a great view into the kitchen and saw all the lively happenings. Before I even talk about food: the 80s-90s Vietnamese New Wave music was incredible. I was hearing songs that I hadn't heard in years (decades!) and couldn't believe I was recognizing these hits from my childhood. That alone set the atmosphere for what Tam Tam was trying to create: a modern vibe with layers of true Vietnamese-American culture while still using traditional Vietnamese flavors. It was truly a great way to enjoy and connect with the ambiance in a way that I hadn't anywhere else ever before. -Grilled oysters: delicious. Came out covered in a delicious hollandaise and some scallion oil. Savory and unique. -Grilled escarole: this is an outdated review, so I don't think this is on the menu anymore which is a damn shame because this was my favorite dish. It had all the quintessential Vietnamese flavors: toasty dried shrimp, scallion oil, dipping fish sauce - it was irresistible and just a great reflection of how Vietnamese people can make the simplest vegetables so damn tasty. -Chicken wings: still very popular. Do not skip this. We were on a Miami restaurant crawl, so after those few dishes, we headed off to our next stop and let me tell ya, we were full of regret that we left. Should've just stayed, said to hell with everything else, and ordered the rest of the menu.
