    Tempeh sandwich

Nice place to stop by on your way to the keys or Miami depending on whew you are headed. I love that they are 100% vegan. Service was friendly, although there is a little wait. Seating is outdoors so it can be quiet or loud depending on your company. Got the tempeh sandwich: 3.5 stars. Decent flavor. Thick slice of tempeh. Bread tasted fresh. Falafel pita sandwich:4.5 stars. Both my daughter and husband enjoy it, which is rare that they would both like it. Very nice tzatziki sauce. Chickpea salad: 4 stars. My mom enjoyed this. It's like a chicken salad ( with chickpea) served over a bed of greens with dressing.

Stopped by again since I was in the area on Sunday and loved it! This time I ordered pick up and it was ready when I got there. I ordered the B-fast Munchwrap and it was absolutely delicious. Between this breakfast dish and the one I ordered previously, I think I like this one a bit more. The black bean spread with the Cumin Cilantro Aioli was just such a nice touch!! I really enjoy the food here and can't wait to try more menu items when I'm in the area again. Really recommend this place!

We came from California and found this place to stop by for brunch. Such a vibe, delicious breakfast options, and friendly and helpful staff.

A gigantic all vegan with no modifications menu is enough to make you want to move to Key Largo and never have to eat anywhere else ever again. Great suggestion by Gage from the Sundiver Snorkel Tour. Power bowl...you know how different food tastes when the ingredients are fresh? That is what this bowl tasted like. Huge amount of food for the money. Will probably be back for lunch tomorrow.

Awesome little spot in the keys to grab 100% vegan food and support a local small business! They have an awesome outdoor area with tables covered in shade and a lovely rope swing to chill on. Quite possibly the best Bahn Mi I've ever had! Great selection on the menu! Many specials and sweets to choose from! They have house made jams and sauces to take home as well Only in the area for 2 days but I'M COMING BACK!

Oh. Em. Gee. Vegan and in the keys? Doesn't matter if you are or aren't. Every single menu item here is tastier than the last. This is my second year stopping by this eatery and I always make sure to make time to get their fixins. They've got a little bit of everything, from boba tea, to creative sandwiches, wraps and salads. You can't go wrong with anything you order on the menu. And, they have kava and kratom options as well as sweet treats. If you're looking for a healthy eat with FLAVOR in the keys, this is the place to go. Plus, they've got great music in their sit-in area, too.

I saw this little truck while passing by on the road, I immediately googled the name and was thrilled to see they serve coffee and breakfast. The atmosphere is so cute! I loved that after I ordered I was able to swing in a tree swing and wait. The black sugar latte is phenomenal. I appreciated the social media communication of posting that the truck was open as many businesses have been closed due to incoming tropical storm weather. We will definitely be back again while we are Key Largo

Vegan food at ambiance at its pinnacle! We came here with friends and were introduced to the vegan side of food! The owners of the truck were eager to tell us about their creations . Food is all fresh and made to order . Unfortunately they are closing for a month for the birth of their child and tourist season . Either way I am not mad at them . I will be back regardless . Please come and give them a try and speak to them . Both the food and conversation are worth it! FYI anyone who has a dachshunds bring it by they are huge fans, as they have one of their own . We were even told he trades food for dachshunds, lol . Try all their hot sauces they offer they are simply amazing! Live laugh and don't count out the Vegans

Amazing Vegan Food! Must stop before entering Florida Keys. Large menu. Bring your appetite. Big score for a small moment hot restaurant. Outdoor dining under shade. Order and they will bring food to your table. Don't forget to pick up a bottle of the mango and chocolate habanero hot sauce. :)

Ordered a b-fast quesadilla and hands down one of the best quesadillas I've ever had, would definitely recommend

The service was fast and friendly, the food chefs kiss. Love coming here for the food and ambiance. Definitely a place to come and have a bite to eat/drink

No idea how I haven't reviewed this place yet, I go all the time and it is one of my favorite places in the keys! I've tried the pancakes, breakfast wrap, quesadillas, and several drinks and they have all been amazing. Loads of flavor and very light! Everyone is also super friendly, and they have the cutest outdoor seating area. Please do not skip this place when in the keys!

Falafel on pita bread. I inhaled the first quarter!
    Sarah M.

This was my first visit. They moved to the corner of Sunset Blvd and route 1. They are kind of behind Christies Real Estate, the blue building on bayside. Wow. I ordered the falafel on pita bread. It is delicious. Tender pita, fresh salad. Yummy falafel, tzatziki and more. Pickles. I often feel ethnic food starved here in the Keys. This food stand is a fabulous new development in my life. Highly recommended !

Five stars, and I want to explain this properly because High Tide in Key Largo is absolutely a…read moreplace people should experience at least once. This is one of those spots that immediately tells you it's a local favorite the second you walk in. It feels homey, lived in, and deeply rooted in the community. The average crowd definitely skews older, which honestly just shows how loyal the regulars are and how long this place has been doing something right. We stood for a minute or two when we arrived, which wasn't a problem at all, but the initial interaction felt a little abrupt. Nothing hostile, just very direct and urgent. We later found out that Cathy is the owner, and it became clear very quickly that this place is her whole world. She works hard, moves fast, and runs on urgency. That energy can sometimes come off sharp, especially to visitors who aren't used to that local, no frills style, but we gave her the benefit of the doubt. There were moments throughout our visit where the tone felt a little rough around the edges, and it wasn't just with us, we noticed it with other tables too. It didn't feel personal, more like someone who is stretched thin and running on fumes. To her credit, there were moments where she self corrected, and I genuinely believe this was just a long day rather than bad intentions. Running a place like this day in and day out is not easy, and you can feel how much effort goes into keeping it moving. This review isn't meant to tear anyone down, just to be honest for future guests so they know what to expect walking in. What truly changed our entire experience and pushed this from a four star visit to a solid five was our server. Her name started with a T, she wore glasses, and she was African American, and she was an absolute blessing. She treated us with warmth, patience, and genuine care, like we were family she was looking out for. When we sat down and the table needed to be wiped, she handled it gracefully without a single awkward moment. Everything she did felt intentional and kind. She was attentive without hovering, respectful, and genuinely happy to be doing her job. There was also a sweet older Latina woman clearing tables who was just as lovely and welcoming. It became very clear that despite the different personalities, this place functions as a team, and the heart of High Tide lives in the people who treat guests with care and humanity. If you get that server whose name starts with a T, you are in excellent hands. Now let's talk about the food, because this is where High Tide really shines. The hash brown casserole is a straight ten out of ten. No exaggeration. Comfort food perfection. Crispy, savory, and absolutely worth ordering. The country style platter we ordered was also a ten according to my friend, hearty and satisfying in the best way. The lobster benedict was good, I would give it about an eight. It's a fun, unique option if you want to try something different, but not the standout compared to the rest of the menu. And then there's the real star of the show, the Key lime pie. Even if you are not hungry, come for the pie. This is hands down the best Key lime pie I have ever had. Perfectly balanced, not overly tart, smooth and almost cheesecake like in texture. It's the kind of dessert that makes you pause after the first bite because it's that good. Beautifully presented too. The decor is charming and thoughtfully cluttered in a way that feels authentic, not staged. The bathrooms are old but very clean. Parking is a little quirky but manageable, and there is parking available if you're patient. Overall, the vibe is cozy, memorable, and unmistakably local. Would I come back? Absolutely, especially for the food and that pie. Cathy, you are clearly working your ass off, and I hope this was just a rough day. This review comes with honesty and flowers, not shade. Five stars for the food, the heart, and the people who make this place what it is. I do recommend it.

Update: went back on last day - just as good. Our son got the same meal (country breakfast); I went a little off menu and elected to have chorizo on the side rather than bacon/sausage. It was different that expected; I thought it would be like a sausage whereas it was more like chile. It worked really well on my eggs and mixed in with my home fries.

The prices on the menu are pretty reasonable. I was going to order the bagel and lox for $16 but then I saw that the lobster Benedict was also $16, so I ordered that instead. I was disappointed though because the "hash browns" on the side were not the homemade kind, but a frozen deep fried cake. I was also disappointed to find that the "lobster" was actually a breaded deep fried mixture, like a crab cake. I intentionally did not order the crab cake Benedict because I don't like that kind of thing. My daughter ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon and Swiss cheese. It was good, and pretty big, so she could barely eat half of it. There is a nice view of the water from the restaurant. The parking lot is pretty small. I'd probably try a different restaurant if I'm back in the area.

It came with a pineapple-based sauce that worked really well with it, and the other sauces on the side had a nice mild kick without going overboard. If you go, start here. The calamari was light and crunchy, which is exactly how it should be. Nothing flashy, just solid execution with a standard marinara on the side. I asked for a piña colada and got something closer to a mango daiquiri hybrid. Honestly, I did not care. It tasted good and I am easy when the drink works. The fries that came with the Caesar wrap were crunchy, warm, and had some seasoning on them. Came with ketchup. No complaints. The teriyaki wings were crunchy and cooked well, but the sauce was not my style. It felt like it was just poured on top rather than worked into the meat. If you have ever had spare rib tips from a New York Chinese spot where they cook the meat right and then just ladle sauce over it at the end, you know what I mean. I prefer the sauce to be part of the experience, not an afterthought. The Caesar wrap was fine. I consider myself something of a Caesar salad critic, and this one was basic. Not bad, not memorable, just standard. The wrap itself held up though. Gus's Grille is a solid spot. Come for the crabcake and let everything else be a pleasant bonus.
