Folded pizza slice with droopy tip
Eric L.

We Had the medium cheese pizza. The crust is nice and thin but some slices were too crisp and cracker-like while others bent easily while the folded tip drooped. I'm not sure if the issue is inconsistent thickness or inconsistent oven temperature. The gluten development was ok. The sauce was ok though I would prefer it more zesty/acidic. Overall, It is well-representative of NY Style pizza and I look forward to coming again.

A must for anyone who visits Key Largo! Great pizza and other menu entree, beer and wine options.

The server was rude to my mother for no reason. She ordered a gyro and she corrected her for her pronunciation. Instead of letting her know they didn't serve fries she was condescending and told her if she saw fries on the menu she'd give them to her for free. I thought she was joking at first then all our food was served except for my mother's. She waited several minutes before checking on it to say " is something missing ?" With my mother clearly sitting there with NO food in-front of her. She " checked with the kitchen " and told us it's on the grill as we watched them start it after she talked to them. The gyro was served after everyone was done with all their meals and extremely over cooked. I felt as if she intentionally didn't put my mother's food in or it's a rare coincidence it happened to the person she belittled on the menu items and pronunciation. At the end she handed the bill to my mother (which I thought was also a weird gesture, mind you her husband was there too) , not thanking us for coming in or anything of regular nature to a customer. AFTER my mother gave her the card and she ran it she came back and said she took the garlic knots off since she had to wait for her food and walked away. Do not apologize for anything. I'm actually mad at myself for not sticking up for my mother and saying something myself because it was entirely unprofessional and embarrassing for my mother. We won't be returning on our remaining week here, we will not recommend neither. The food was mid at most except the garlic knots they were actually phenomenal. Side note thanks to "Bob" who saves cats.

Every year on vacation we order Tower of Pizza to our resort for a lazy night in supper. Pizza is always fantastic. Garlic rolls are incredible. Salad for two is more like salad for three or four! Highly recommend!

Key Largo's Best Pizza spot! If you like NY style pizza and need to break from seafood, this is your best bet. The service is great and quick to get your order in. Eat inside, outside, to go... Highly recommend the Cheese pizza or Buffalo chicken pizza

Tower of Pizza is the closest pizzeria to the hotel I usually use in Key Largo, very convenient with lots of parking. I usually get the slice special with a side salad, but sometimes the calzone or stromboli too. Good and very reasonable. Will return when I'm in the area and need a quick and reasonable bite! Recommend!

This pizza was awful. We ordered a slice and it took at least 15 minutes and it was not even hot. It was either frozen or just old.

Solid pizza stop in the keys. Garlic rolls with the cheese on top are pretty awesome. Service is always good and the location is perfect.

If you don't mind your pizza being half uncooked dough, it will stave off starvation, at the very least.

The service is good. But the food was off. I got sick a few hours after I ate. I won't be going back anytime soon.

The menu is extensive with any Italian appetizer, pasta, or main dish you could think of. They also have pizza which seems very popular. We both started with a house salad; It was fresh and tasty. For our main course, I had the Spicy Shrimp fra Diavola and my wife had the lasagna. We both commented on the incredible flavor of the pasta itself (mine was served over spaghetti.) I don't ever remember eating at an Italian restaurant where the flavor of the pasta was so memorable. My entree had large gulf shrimp in a spicy marinara sauce. It was noticeably spicy and tasted great. I tasted the lasagna which was also among the best I have had. If you are looking for Italian in the Key Largo area, I highly recommend the Italian Food Co. We stopped back before we left Key Largo. We shared a large house salad and a "meatball panini" (aka, a meatball calzone.). It was great and large; the two of us didn't finish it! To top off the evening we shared an espresso with ice cream. Our second trip not reinforced the first; just go & enjoy!

Amanda was bar tending and is always attentive, even when the bar is overly full. I am raving about the chicken breast stuffed with buratta cheese, spinach and prosciutto cheese. It's in a lemon wine sauce that is to die for! It's on the "specials" menu, so I don't know how long it will be available. It's a huge portion and would be a nice dinner to share, especially if you have an appetizer. My friends were raving about the green beans in garlic butter sauce. It's also offered as a special side. It has been lively sitting at the bar, which was perfect for my birthday and for New Years Eve. Tonight, Friday happy hour, was pretty chill. Perfect to hang with friends and enjoy!

Treat of the evening (Wednesday) is "by the clock" Veuve Cilcquot, prices starting at $5/glass at 5:00pm, and increasing $1/hour throughout the evening. Very fun! Nice happy menu too. We had an escarole salad, Philly cheesesteak soup, wagyu carpaccio, the mini osso bucco snacks, and the veal chop Florentine (served to Guy Fieri back in the day). All food was very good! Recommend DeGiofgio's, especially on Wednesdays!

Their pizza is thin crust like NY style, but that's where the similarities end. I found the crust a bit flavorless and the sauce lacking in spices as well. The pepperoni and meatball pizzas were well topped, but the spinach garlic pizza we ordered had barely anything on it. For a large pizza, I'd say each slice had 2-3 small spinach leaves, tops. It was extremely sparse considering you pay around $3 for extra toppings. It's edible for sure but if you want a solid slice of NY pizza, I'd skip this spot.

I could say this has been the worst dining experience I've had in a long time. Not only was the service horrible, but they hardly had any of the items on the menu. I remember the meatballs, pizza and rolls being amazing so we ordered that. The meatballs had potential but they must have been frozen and were warm on the outside but the middle was cold. There was no way of getting the waiter to tell him since we waited about 25 minutes to get our order in. Mind you we were the only ones in the restaurant. The rolls were not edible. The pizza was ok, but the crust had no salt whatsoever so you couldn't eat it. I was going to try the dessert but opted not to since it would have taken half hour more. It's such a shame because they were so good. Never again. I usually do not leave bad reviews, but this was just total neglect of a once good establishment.
