It would stick to anything it touched like the bottom of the fork or my hand or just anything. It made me wonder if they put in an additive for it to Clump or just didn't wash the rice. That would explain the presentation, a giant half dome serving from a scoop. My wife really enjoyed the coleslaw and she absolutely loved the Key Lime colada drink . My wife's fish tacos were good but the serving size was not very generous. The meat was well cooked and well seasoned. The toppings were fresh but the tortillas were falling apart from the moisture. My grouper sandwich was good but the bottom bun was very soft. The fries were excellent! Service was good overall. We did have servers swap during our time and no one really introduced themselves but overall they did well. I wouldn't say it was the best by any means, but if you are in the area and want to have a casual meal and watch the sunset, it's pretty decent! I'm sure there are better in the area.

Back to the bar now. I was in a tropical mood so I had a mango drink at first and then a banana but decided to stick with the mango,both were good but the mango just did it for me. I screamed, and to my horror it was a cockroach. My husband had to jump up and step on it. What was even more disappointing than the cockroach itself was how the situation was handled. No manager came over to check on me or apologize. No one asked if I was okay after such a shocking experience. I informed both the hostess and our server about what happened and, trying to lighten the moment, jokingly said, "The least you could do is buy me a glass of wine." My server later returned and told me they had declined. I understand that unexpected things can happen anywhere, especially in the Keys. What I don't understand is the complete lack of concern or customer service afterward. A sincere apology, a manager checking in, or even a small gesture of goodwill would have gone a long way.
