Amazing view, fun place to boat to for lunch, lots of menu items. Note upstairs has a more extensive menu (and a better view) than the bar downstairs. Service was good, food decent, and prices reasonable for the area and view.

I was not happy with this place, it was such a money grab. I paid for my son to have the kids steak, I asked for Rice as a side substitute but they wouldn't accommodate. Then I ordered seafood nachos, I asked for some extra pico de gallo and the server rang in an appetizer size with chips for $8! All I wanted was extra pico for my nachos. I wouldn't have minded paying a little extra money but $8?!!! He just wanted to get his check size bigger! I will not be coming back! I will also warn others.

This was an amazing spot for dinner and a sunset! Sit upstairs so you can get the best views. I started with the sunset marg which was pretty sweet - probably would go for a different drink next time. I wanted to sample a bunch of different seafoods so I ended up ordering the ocean bounty bucket! Plenty of food for 1 person and would make a good app for 2. The conch was interesting - I read you should go for cracked conch over a fritter but the fritters were good. Always love a fried shrimp and the scallop was really good as well! The mahi wasn't quite as tender as I wanted. Of course had to end with some key lime pie! My servers were super sweet and helpful with recommendations and I got to sit right next to the balcony. Make sure you don't miss the sunset!

Sat downstairs! Great views of the bay.

The food is tasty and you can't beat the view. It's on the bayside and is just everything 'Keys Life' is about. Good food, good drinks, sun and fun. Service is good. We sat at the downstairs area. They had great live music, great drinks and food. We didn't get a chance to take pictures but we had shrimp, lobster, nachos! All were very tasty.

Absolutely enjoyed the beautiful sunset view, live music and had their house specialty rum punch. They blow the conch horn at sunset which was cool. We tried conch fritters everywhere we went and found these to be the best. We also got a slice of their own in house made Key Lime pie. It was a dense cheesecake style that was different than others and so delicious! Wonderful tropical laid back vibe. Definitely would recommend next time I am coming by boat!

Amazing ambiance and service. A lot of waitstaff. Gorgeous view and sunset. We sat upstairs and had a corner table near the women's bathroom. I didn't mind as the sun was already setting and most of our dining was when the sun went down. Started with yellowtail ceviche - strong on the citrus and coconut milk. Tasty but a little overwhelming. The Jamaican peel and eat shrimp were really good. Husband had the lobster pasta special. I got trio fish and they came w Mahi, yellowtail and triple tail mmmm. Side of rice and some seasoned squash. Delicious. Husband was very fond of the sunset margarita. The waitress Geo gave us this complimentary piece of key lime pie because our food took too long (not necessary but kind). We had just paid and were leaving. Geo stopped me and handed me a key lime pie slice and said it was for our food taking so long. We had not complained and I told her that was not expected but aww thank you. How sweet. Very great place to dine.

I cannot believe this restaurant doesn't have more stars. Or better reviews. I could not find anything wrong. Neither the service or the food. Everything was SUPERB! We were able to sit wherever we wanted. We decided to sit in a table for four on the first floor, outdoor. Not sure if the second level has inside seating but it was a perfect evening with a nice breeze. We definitely wanted outdoor seating plus the sun was setting. My husband ordered for me a Key Lime Mojito and he had a MoTito. My first Mojito since I'm not an alcohol drinker but it was the perfect drink to relax & recharge. My batteries were fried...lol We also decided to order the Seafood Nachos and it was D E L I C I O U S! The nachos were regular chips. Good but the star of the show was the seafood of course! The fish, shrimp and scallops were seasoned to perfection. It was chef's kiss for real!! I honestly was full with the nachos but I was curious about the Seafood Enchiladas. My husband was still hungry and wanted to try the Ocean Bounty Bucket of fried fish, scallops, shrimp and potato wedges. Oh it also included Conch fritters and a side of cocktail sauce and tartar sauce. Every single bite of everything I tried in that "bucket" was bursting with flavor and fried to a nice crisp. The cocktail sauce (which is never my favorite) was sooo good. I don't know if it's homemade but it was the best I have ever tried. Tartar sauce was pretty good too. I almost didn't have room for dessert BUT I knew I couldn't leave without trying a slice of their homemade Key Lime pie. I figured if the food we ordered was great then I could only imagine what their desserts taste like. I was right. Key Lime Pie 10/10!!! Not too overpowering, very creamy with just the right amount of sweet & tangy. The crust was delicious too. I can't wait to go back and try more entrees and desserts! This place seriously exceeded my expectations and was a lot better than other popular spots in Key Largo!

Restaurant is tucked down a small road shared with another establishment. ...keep driving down the back road, you will run right into it. This restaurant has a great view of the water, better as the sun is going down. The food is one of the best in town. The conch chowder was hearty and the jambalaya was outstanding. It seemed as if service was a little short on staff, but they worked hard to make sure you were taken care of. One of the best places on the island. I came to the Keys to see a pretty sunset, and we got dinner with a great view as well!

The drinks are genuinely excellent--easily the best I've had on the island so far. The bartenders are sharp, knowledgeable, and the kind of pleasant and inviting that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. They clearly know what they're doing behind the bar. The food is a cut above typical bar fare. It has that high-end, competitive Vegas bar-food quality: well-executed, thoughtful, and not just an afterthought. Atmosphere is solid--dark, military-themed without feeling gimmicky, and it works especially well when you're there with Marines and their significant others. There's a real sense of respect for service without being over the top, and knowing the place supports the VFW adds something extra. If you're coming through the Upper Keys and want strong drinks, solid food, good service, and an atmosphere that actually feels like it means something, this is the spot. Highly recommend.

Don't skip on anything and be prepared for a wonderful evening. Try as many drinks as you can on the menu (without driving afterwards of course) because it's that captivating. Grab a good bite to eat like a burger or steak or whatever you desire. Take lots of pics of real armory, pics, uniforms etc. This place is a whole vibe

One thing you'll notice pretty quickly in the Keys is that many restaurants close fairly early, and this one closes at 10 p.m., so we always make sure to get there in time. I've eaten at both the bar and at a table. This year, since my nephew was with us, we grabbed a table and enjoyed another great meal. My absolute favorite dish here is the fish topped with a generous portion of crab. It is absolutely incredible! Funny enough, years ago I actually ordered the pistachio-crusted fish, but the kitchen accidentally brought me the fish with crab instead. Let's just say I wasn't disappointed by that mistake! On this trip, I finally tried the pistachio-crusted fish, and it was delicious too. My nephew couldn't stop talking about the seafood linguine. It was loaded with seafood, and he absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is one of the best parts of dining here. The waterfront views are beautiful, and you can choose to sit under the tiki hut or kick off your shoes and enjoy the sand beneath your feet. It's such a relaxing place to unwind after a day in the Keys. We've also had the coconut shrimp, which comes with an amazing dipping sauce that I'd definitely recommend. For drinks, I tried their espresso martini for the first time. They add cocoa to it, which I've never seen before. It definitely caught me by surprise, but in a good way. I always enjoy when a bartender puts a creative spin on a classic cocktail instead of making the same version everyone else serves. Between the beautiful setting, delicious food, and laid-back atmosphere, this is a place we look forward to visiting every year.

The music, cleanliness, design, waterfront atmosphere, and overall vibe were fantastic. It felt current, fun, polished, and honestly looked like it had everything needed to become one of our favorite stops in the Keys. Unfortunately, the service completely changed the experience. Our server was very kind, but also extremely forgetful and distracted/his head was somewhere else from the beginning. Waters came out, we were told the kids special, and my parents advised our water what meals that my niece and nephew would want. My mother and sister were the. asked for adult drink orders, but my father and I were never asked what we wanted. About 13 minutes later two drinks finally arrived and another 15 minutes later both kids' entrées arrived even though the rest of us had not even ordered appetizers or our meals yet. It was just very awkward having the kids eating while the adults were still waiting to place orders, let alone the appetizers. At that point, with the waters lack of organization and delay, we decided not to order adult entrées. We boxed up the kids' shrimp Alfredo, had two Long Island iced teas and two appetizers, and the bill still came in just shy of $200 with gratuity automatically added for our party of six, which included two children (which would be fine I feel if we spent more than 45 minutes here, without any delay or issues on the restaurants end) The food we did receive was, okay, standard to say the least, but we never really got the opportunity to experience the restaurant the way we had planned because the service flow was so disconnected. I genuinely try to give people the benefit of the doubt. Maybe it was a first day, maybe it was an off day, maybe something personal was going on. We are all human. The server was never rude, and this is not meant as an attack on him. That is what makes this review more disappointing than angry. The atmosphere was so good that I honestly thought this could become one of our top restaurants after vacationing in the Florida Keys every year for the past 10 years. If the service had matched the ambience, we probably would have added Snook's to our yearly itinerary regardless of the price. The issues we experienced seem very fixable with better communication, pacing, and attention to the table (we could see the water standing and lounging in-between the 2/3 times he stopped be the table). I really hope they tighten these up because this place has so much potential. Younger staff is great imho, however they are old enough to know better and do better. Especially working at a quality waterfront restaurant. Maybe we will give it another shot someday, but after this visit, It would have to be a last option for us to do so.
