To have the best sunset views, you must reserve your seats. They have indoor and outdoor dinning. They give complimentary champagne for to toast to the sunset. We ordered the Keys Pinks and Lobster pasta, very delicious! Portion is big and you will have left overs. The seasoning and flavor was amazing. My other half had the Ships: Skiff, 6 oysters, 6 jumbo shrimps, tuna tartar and fish dip. Service was amazing and everyone was extremely friendly. Especially our waiter, he has teal or bluish colored glasses, you sir are amazing at what you do, keep it up! This location also serves breakfast, which is a great way to start the day.

Amazing seafood and beautiful balcony seating to watch the key largo sunset. The service was very friendly. Splurge and get the sloop appetizer that has 12 oysters, 12 shrimp, tuna tartare, and smoked fish dip. Then get the lobster special. Seafood was all fresh.

Beautiful spot for breakfast/brunch. The views were incredible. Such a nice spot to eat and relax. Ordered the avocado toast from here, which was tasty. Nothing mind blowing but had nice flavors and I felt very healthy eating it. Also ordered the fruit platter to go. The menu says it comes with coconut shavings and honey lime dressing, but mine did not. The tropics fruits were fresh and delicious. Wish they added more dragon fruit and star fruit. The blackberries were very sour and the strawberries were not sweet at all. Fruit could've been fresher. I saw others try the waffles and Benedict which looked a bit more promising!

This restaurant in beautiful bakers cay is amazing. If you are not staying inside the resort you can always call ahead to make a reservation which allows you to tour the beautiful hotel and visit the mezcal bar downstairs as well! I love to go on Sundays to help wind down the weekend with 20$ bottomless mimosas and the calusa omelette. Not to mention the view of the ocean is ridiculously gorgeous. They always have a Caribbean band playing to help mellow you out. This is a must if you are looking for a great brunch with a view! They are very kid friendly but I wish there was a ramp to take down the baby stroller to the bottom floor. It's only a few steps though so really not a big deal! Plenty of room for stroller parking, plenty of high chairs available, and kids menu is available as well.

The food here was so so. My husband and I shared a lox and bagel plate. Strangely, it didn't come with cream cheese. But we were able to request it. But I've just never ordered lox in a bagel that never came with cream cheese. The coffee is strong, not necessarily bad, but definitely for my taste, I needed some cream. My daughter ordered the French toast. That was actually really tasty. It came with fresh berries and berry puree. As per usual, I ate her left overs, lol. Service was good with most of the staff. But one lady (the one that brought me the coffee, not as friendly). But that's okay, it's like that most places you go. The view was impeccable! Turquoise waters for DAYS!!! Would have been 5 stars if my lox just automatically came with cream cheese!

So cute ! My picture does not do the area justice ! The food was good and the portion sizes were phenomenal . It's a great way to start your day with a yummy meal before walking the beach !

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony at Bakers Cay Resort so we had dinner at Calusa the first day we stayed there. It was delicious with gorgeous views. At 5PM when the sun sets, they bring you a glass of champagne. It was a beautiful experience. We also came here for brunch on Sunday before our wedding and I ordered the crab Bennies and it was really good. I highly recommend this place. Service is fantastic, we were told that the restaurant also cooked our food for the wedding and everyone really enjoyed the food at our wedding.

Dinner tonight was excellent. I can definitely recommend Calusa!! All seafood dishes were prepared perfectly, well seasoned. Excellent complementary sauces that didn't overpower, just accented the fish. So good! My husband said the coffee was top notch. Desserts were all housemade, even the mango pineapple sorbet, and were delicious. You must have a reservation to go here. Kudos to the gate guy for being so nice to us about this! I had tried to call with the number on Yelp, but it's a generic resort phone tree without a specific option for Calusa. I didn't think it was right, so hung up. I guess you have to get the front desk and ask for a transfer, so just fyi. I was able to make a res at the gate with Open Table, but that was glitchy and weird...it did eventually work for me and we were good to go. 20% gratuity is added to your bill. This is mentioned on the menu and highlighted on your dinner ticket. I felt they earned it, and we added extra. The staff were great dealing with my dairy allergy, which I really appreciate.

Buyer beware. They add 20% service charge to every check no matter what you order, and they don't highlight it so you could easily double tip. That being said, the service was good and friendly. The kitchen was quick with our breakfast order even though we were the only ones eating at the time. We really enjoyed the 2 breakfast sandwiches. Warning: The portions are very big and very sharable between 2 people. The Bakers Brunch Burger is much like a hangover burger found on other menus. It was tasty, and I was able to trade out the American cheese for Swiss cheese. The Breakfast Cuban mix was full of fresh shredded pork, but it needed some extra hot sauce to give it a more Cuban taste. The fresh russet potato chips were so good that I ate every last chip on my plate. This is the higher end restaurant on the Bakers Cay property, and it is very nice yet very casual, too. A nice Caribbean vibe and decor with inside and outside seating.

Expensive mediocre food. Ate one time at our resort, due to convenience, and went to neighboring restaurants for the rest of the trip

The menu is extensive with any Italian appetizer, pasta, or main dish you could think of. They also have pizza which seems very popular. We both started with a house salad; It was fresh and tasty. For our main course, I had the Spicy Shrimp fra Diavola and my wife had the lasagna. We both commented on the incredible flavor of the pasta itself (mine was served over spaghetti.) I don't ever remember eating at an Italian restaurant where the flavor of the pasta was so memorable. My entree had large gulf shrimp in a spicy marinara sauce. It was noticeably spicy and tasted great. I tasted the lasagna which was also among the best I have had. If you are looking for Italian in the Key Largo area, I highly recommend the Italian Food Co. We stopped back before we left Key Largo. We shared a large house salad and a "meatball panini" (aka, a meatball calzone.). It was great and large; the two of us didn't finish it! To top off the evening we shared an espresso with ice cream. Our second trip not reinforced the first; just go & enjoy!

From the second you pull up the driveway, you are greeted by rolling rows of vines and an atmosphere that instantly makes you drop your shoulders and relax. It completely lives up to its name--the vibe is effortlessly mellow, sophisticated, and incredibly welcoming. Here is why this place has officially become my absolute favorite spot: 1. The Wine & Food Pairings are Masterful The culinary team here clearly works hand-in-hand with the winemakers, because the pairings are flawless. We started with a crisp, beautifully balanced white blend paired with an artisanal charcuterie board featuring locally sourced cheeses and a phenomenal house-made fig jam. For the main course, the slow-braised short rib literally melted off the bone, and when paired with their estate estate Syrah, it was pure magic. Every bite was an absolute home run. 2. Breathtaking Atmosphere & Ambiance The design of the restaurant strikes the perfect balance between rustic vineyard charm and modern elegance. We sat out on the covered patio, which offers sweeping, unobstructed views of the vineyard. As the sun began to set, they lit the fire pits and turned on string lights, creating an incredibly romantic, warm glow across the entire space. It's the kind of environment where you just want to linger for hours over dessert and another bottle. 3. World-Class Hospitality What truly elevates Mellow Grapes is the service. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable without an ounce of pretentiousness. They walked us through the tasting notes of each wine, shared the history of the vineyard, and gave us brilliant recommendations based on our personal palates. The pace of the meal was perfect--we never felt rushed, yet we were perfectly looked after the entire evening. The Verdict Mellow Grapes is an absolute gem. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, planning a perfect date night, or just want to treat yourself to an exquisite meal and fantastic wine, this place delivers on every front. The passion behind the food, the wine, and the hospitality is evident in every single detail. I'm already counting down the days until my next visit.
