We had a great dinner at C&C! We came in right at the rush of dinner at 5:30. (in fact, we had to park behind the restaurant on the street past the fire station.) They accommodated our party of four and put two tables of two for us. Miss Picky 10 said it was her favorite pizza ever and proceeded to eat 3 slices. That NEVER happens! Pizza was our favorite. I had a strawberry basil martini that was refreshing after a humid day. Hubs loved his Chianti, wedge salad, and adult Lunchable (charcuterie). It was a packed house with a large bar. Greatest Happy Hour We Have Ever Seen!!! A Medium sized cheese pizza with a pitcher of their local beer is only $10! Now that's a steal and they have Happy Hour specials which to everyday from 4-7 pm. The parking can be a bit tricky but there is plenty in the back. The ambience feels kind of romantic but at the same time a bit up scale because they have pastas, pizzas, beer, wine and more! This is one of my go-to restaurants when anywhere near Key Largo. Always greeted when you walk through the door. Bar seating for 12. Great wine selection, amazing salads, steak option and my favorite, plenty of italian dishes. Now the gem is their fire oven pizza's. You know what I'm talking about. I can't believe I haven't reviewed C & C before now! Man, legit such amazing food. Never had a single thing bad here. We MORE THAN LOVE: Mixed olives & the charcuterie board snacks, the truffle pizza sticks under the house eats, their side salads (both the simple & the Caesar), the frickin' meatballs y'all (my husby is Italian through & through & a meatball snob but these are the real freakin' deal!), and the create your own pizza. No lie we eat a ton of Italian & everything here is delicious, super fresh, quality ingredients, and if you're a thinner crust pizza lover you will love their pizza for sure. Beyond just the crust though like I said, every single ingredient here you can tell based on the taste is such quality, even the freakin' olive snack mix! We always get a pepperoni sausage with light cheese and extra sauce and I'm telling you it's so flavorful and so amazing! Definitely get here early, it is a small but busy place and for good reason! Don't worry about the parking. The side street has plenty of room so long as you can make the walk. I don't typically order pizza when we go out to a sit down dinner. But after seeing all of the pizza comments I just had to give it a try. Be warned, if you like your crust crispy, you will be disappointed. This pizza is like the kind you get in Italy. You have to eat it with a fork and knife. The crust is thin and a bit soft. I was skeptical but thoroughly enjoyed it. It was delicious. I took half of it home and had leftovers for another meal. My husband chose the rigatoni with sausage entree. He said it was the best food he had on our trip. Coming from a picky eater (with a cheese allergy) that is a compliment to the kitchen. I would describe this place as "cozy" which is code for tight seating. You sit pretty close to fellow diners but it is quite dark inside so you don't feel like you are right on top of each other. The brick wall (faux?) inside gives it an old world feel. We enjoyed this place and will be back the next time we visit Key Largo. read more

The cornbread to start was very good & the sauce on the side had a nice kick of spice. The meatball and ricotta pizza was ok, not every slice had a meatball and the taste was alright. The Quattro Formaggi was amazing all the flavors mixed so well together. I was a little hesitant about the honey but it was the perfect amount of sweetness to balance the gorgonzola and garlic. Very cool place, unassuming and intimate vibe here, but it's loud from a lot of talking, music, kitchen action which all feels good and enjoyable. They do not want you waiting inside with the folks eating so there's a bar/waiting room a short walk around the building and they have wine/beer to enjoy while you sit in that area. It's clearly a work in progress, a room off the back of the kitchen where staff will pop in to get your drink order and tell you it's time to go back outside to re-enter and sit. The kind of legendary peperoni chips were good but make sure at least 2 people want them. I found them crispy and delicious but the saltiness is strong too. 2 of us split a pizza and it was thin, delicious, properly cooked in their wood fired ovens. Taste was great, people were very nice, you could tell the manager was on point, making sure everything was humming, the staff was attentive and very pleasant. If you had 2-4 people they look like they can handle it well. Anything more might be tough, it's a small place. Energy was great, food was good, love that it's a local place! read more

I have been a local here for many years. Mike has always been a great asset to the company, but as of late I can't explain how bad the service has been. We LOVE the waiters, please don't take this wrong. The food is good (better before the changes) but the service is awful. The manger has taken it to the point of me walking out mid order, I don't know how tom explain it but I'm taking my time away form quite some time. In don't want to sway anyone the wrong way, but I am taking a few months away, the previous manager was bad and this one is worse in my opinion. I hope they make some changes soon. I don't leave many reviews but this one is worth its weight in gold. The waiters for the most part are amazing and the food is solid but take it for what it's worth the service is awful. Our snorkeling tour guide told us about this place and man was he right. This is one of the hidden gems in Key Largo. We started off small, Cesar salad and pepperoni chips and the Sweet Brie with balsamic. Moved into the roasted garlic chicken pizza and finished off with the warm and DELICIOUS olive oil pistachio brownie. I don't even like brownies. But this was hands down the BEST one I've ever had. The worst customer service! The manager has zero training on how to be kind and understanding. My family and friends were sited at a shared table - our party was 4 adults and 4 children. One of the kids fell asleep and we laid them down on the chairs & the manager quickly came to tell us to move her because she needed to sit other people. We told her absolutely, when you need the chairs, we will move the sleeping 5 year old child. Less than 4 minutes pass and she comes back to tell us we need to move her because she needs the space. We move the child and then she decides to add an additional chair to the already crowded table which leads us to have to eat standing up, so that we can leave the child sleeping. We ate the meal, desert, coffee & during that entire time NO ONE came into the restaurant and sat next to us. She is just a miserable human who needs serious therapy and joy in her life. Will never be back and if you have a family, I wouldn't waste my money here. read more

Have visited C&C Wood Fired Pizza in Key Largo several times during my annual Veteran's Day scuba trips, and it's about time to review them. Located alongside the Overseas Highway, C&C has limited parking adjacent to it but it shouldn't be hard to find. No reservations, fill out the reservation list when you get there. Despite it being on a federal holiday with a group of 4, it didn't take too long to get seated. The tables are arranged in a 'L' shape around the building, there are several outside tables as well. Along the bottom of the 'L' is the bar and the kitchen with the brick oven. Several appetizers were ordered- salad, roast artichokes, and meatballs. They were tasty. Next up were the two pizzas with a cauliflower crust due to a person with a gluten allergy- potato & bacon & meat calabrese. They were the stars of the meal! Good crunch and chew on the crust, and the ingredients really worked together! C&C Wood Fired Pizza isn't a cheap eat, but a good one. They are probably my favorite pizzeria Key Largo! I visited C and C Wood Fired Eats expecting a relaxed meal and good service. The experience fell far below basic restaurant standards. My group sat at our table for at least five minutes with menus open and ready. Staff walked past multiple times without greeting us or offering water or drinks. We made eye contact and showed clear signs we were ready to order. No one acknowledged us. The issue was not a busy rush. Employees moved around the dining area yet ignored our table. A simple greeting or update would have fixed the situation. Instead, we felt dismissed. After waiting with no service, we decided to leave. As we walked out, staff gave a sarcastic wave goodbye. That moment confirmed the lack of professionalism and respect toward guests. Customer service sets the tone for any restaurant. Food quality stops mattering when guests feel unwelcome. This visit showed poor attention to customers and careless behavior from staff. I hope management reviews service standards and trains employees to acknowledge guests promptly. Not really kid friendly as they didn't have a booster or cups with lids, but it was loud enough that you couldn't hear him get a little loud squealing a few times. I'll take that over the other two. Our waitress was nice, explained some stuff since we had never been. Pizzas were delicious and so was the salad we all shared. It was pretty huge and had great flavor.
