This is an Irish pub & grill. Large place with a big bar and lots of seating. They have a broad menu. We started with appetizers for the table- cheese sticks, artichoke cheese dip, and fried grouper with a Thai sauce. The cheese sticks were straight out of a bag, but everything else was amazing! Especially the Thai grouper. There were 3 large pieces of grouper, enough for a meal. For my entree I got the French dip sandwich with an au jus. Very good! Came here with some friends to watch the Panthers hockey game ! Nice little local Irish bar here in the keys. Got in just in the nick of time . Place packed up pretty good and packed up with Panthers fans . Ordered some drinks and apps to start. Typical bar food but still tasty . Drinks were poured perfectly and they all hit the spot . Food was ordered and it came out hot and ready . Our server Danni and Bianca were awesome . Hope I spelled their names right . Place was full of life and energy. I even ran into an old coworker who ended up buying a round before I could . We settled up the tab and that's where the problem happened . With all the I'll buy you buy with my buddy I accidentally left my credit card there without realizing it till the next day . Fortunately for me I went back first thing the next morning and spoke to shift manager . She took my into down and said she would ask the girls if anyone found it . Several hours later I received the call with the great news . They had my card and no additional charges had been applied . What makes it even better are Dani and Bianca who are personable, proficient, and loved by all the regulars at Dillon's. I was in the mood for prime rib, but I was an hour too early for that. I ended up ordering the French Dip minus the provolone, and I'm so glad I did. It was truly scrumptious. My daughter ordered fried grouper and fries, and cleaned her plate. It was a new fish for her to try. Light, mild, and flaky, it was wonderful fried. The servers were exceptional. Don't waste your time. Food was soggy when it arrived. My brother in laws wrap fell apart as soon as he picked it up. Waitress showed up and took drink order, brought the drink order and took the food order. Then we didn't see her again. Had to walk up to the bar after over 40 minutes of having no service to get our own refills. Another waiter ended up bringing our food, didn't ask if we needed refills or anything. Didn't see our original waitress again til after we payed and were leaving. Very disappointed in service and food quality. My husbands French dip had good flavor but it was luke warm at best. Grouper Rueben - it was scary to order, but a party in my mouth to eat. After I started eating it, I found out you can order it blackened instead of fried. So two days later, we went back and I tried it blackened; it's even better!!! Moist and perfect grouper, rye bread, thousand island dressing, Swiss cheese and their slaw. Amazing combination! I'm not usually a fan of slaw; this is the second slaw I've ever enjoyed. My honey had fried clams the first time-he said they were good. Next visit, he went for the Bleu Cheese burger. Amazing! We traded bites, and neither of us felt cheated. If we lived in the area, we would be regulars. Great food at reasonable prices. My hubby came here to watch baseball a couple of times during our trip, and we had a late lunch here one day as well. We both had burgers and shared a bowl of chili. My burger was great. Excellent cheese to burger ratio. Hubby liked his too, though without the bun, there wasn't quite enough. It was our idea to put the chili on our burgers, but it was very basic and bland, so we really didn't both. They have Irish specials like Shepard's Pie on Thursdays but we missed that. Convenient place to eat near our condo for takeout. It's a nice sports bar vibe type place. Food was decent. We had wings, quesadilla, Buffalo chicken wraps, and French onion soup. I think the wings and French onion soup were the fav items ordered. Ranch we ordered ended up being bleu cheese which is kind of a bummer and the sweet potato fries didn't stay crispy for Togo. I have to say this place is excellent, from price to service to food everything was fantastic. This was my fiancés and my first time in the keys and anywhere you go it's "steak and lobster" with steak and lobster prices...we just wanted a nice laid back, well priced location to grab some pub food. This was perfect. When we walked in we were instantly greeted and our drinks provided. We got the hot wings which were delicious and tender. I got a wrap and my fiancé got the blackened chicken Alfredo. Both were quite tasty. I don't even care for blackened anything and I tried his blackened chicken and liked it. This was the first and only place down there we were able to get a good quality meal under $100! If we go back to the keys, we'll definitely be back! read more

Three of us stopped here on out way out of the Keys on New Year's Day. We stopped at another establishment, but it was closed. We are so happy we found Dillon's. The good was spectacular. Two of us had soup, which was piping hot. We also got the spinach dip appetizer that was the best we had ever had. Allison was our server and could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. This is our favorite Pub in the upper keys. I love all their food. My favorite is the French Onion soup and Thai snapper salad.
