Stone crabs and High Noons after a day of fishing with Captain Perkins. We pulled up to the dock from the boat, we're seated and dining within moments. Def stopping on my next ride through.

Amazing stone crab claws, amazing service, & scenic setting. 20 thumbs up if I had that many.

Lola is really fantastic. She knows her food, cooks most if not all her dishes. She knows wine and is extremely personable. What a hidden gem. Totally enjoyed dinner, drinks and appetizers at this spot

Hidden Gem, locals raw bar located behind a fish market nestled on the water. Came for the $5 stone crab claws that the bartenders cracks right behind the bar and hands them to you. Wow there they fresh. If you visit the keys be sure to stop here you will not be disappointed!

Stone crab. Number one food I wanted to eat while in the area. I paid so much high price to eat stone crab in Miami before and was looking for more economical way to enjoy stone crab. Not too far drive from Key Largo, I was so happy to find this place on Yelp. Stone crab was $3 each! My only regret was I didn't have a hotel booked nearby. I had to drive two more hours to key west after this, so I didn't have any drinks. I wish I know then I would have stayed nearby to enjoy SUP, then eat crabs and oysters with a glass of white wine. I bet a chilled white wine paired so well with the food. I guess I need to come back to this area again.

The Mar Bar is the spot for good vibes and great food! We stumbled upon it looking for a drink and some apps and we hit the jackpot. Our bartender Brandon was awesome. Super friendly and welcoming and took good care of us! We had the shrimp ceviche and the local beers and loved it! They are known for their snow crabs but also offer great options like fish dip , ceviche and oysters. It's a typical tiki hut bar on the water with great local beer, wine and a few munchie options. Perfect for an afternoon trip or after boat happy hour! Will deff be returning!

    $3 stone crabs!

I am a stone crab aficionado and am always in the hunt for them during the stone crab season. We stumbled upon this little spot one night, and what a find! $3 stone crabs! The bartender was super nice and attentive even though she seemed to be the only one working there to wait tables. It seemed like lots of locals go there and there was a fun trivia night on the night we went. The vibe is very casual and I'd definitely return !

The menu is extensive with any Italian appetizer, pasta, or main dish you could think of. They also have pizza which seems very popular. We both started with a house salad; It was fresh and tasty. For our main course, I had the Spicy Shrimp fra Diavola and my wife had the lasagna. We both commented on the incredible flavor of the pasta itself (mine was served over spaghetti.) I don't ever remember eating at an Italian restaurant where the flavor of the pasta was so memorable. My entree had large gulf shrimp in a spicy marinara sauce. It was noticeably spicy and tasted great. I tasted the lasagna which was also among the best I have had. If you are looking for Italian in the Key Largo area, I highly recommend the Italian Food Co. We stopped back before we left Key Largo. We shared a large house salad and a "meatball panini" (aka, a meatball calzone.). It was great and large; the two of us didn't finish it! To top off the evening we shared an espresso with ice cream. Our second trip not reinforced the first; just go & enjoy!

Parking is anywhere you can find a spot. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the Grassy Flats Resort & Beach Club. They have both indoor and outdoor seating...we sat outside and there was plenty of fans and shade so it was actually quite comfortable. Service was very good...think laid back Florida Keys but classy. They don't rush you between courses, but don't take too long that it is uncomfortable. We started off with drinks. My husband had a Stella Arois and I had Pinot Grigio. We also just went with their tap water, which they were excellent at replenishing throughout dinner. For apps, my husband had the Fried Octopus - he said it was really good and he especially loved the celery, carrot and kalamata olive sofrito. I went with the Roasted Woods...what a unique dish! Crispy roasted Maitake mushrooms with miso cream and toasted hazelnuts. I would definitely this again! For entrees, my husband went with the seared Catch of the day, which was Black Grouper; it comes with pureed sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts. He said it was all delicious. I went with the Cauliflower Steak which was good but I'd like to try something else next time. Maybe a salad or a pasta dish sans meat. I also had the sweet corn and coconut soup....so good! Would definitely have again! I already came with dessert on my mind when I saw they had a Bread Pudding but alas, this is only sold at the Grassy Flats Market now. I did go for the Guava cheesecake which was phenomenal...you can truly taste the home baked feel to it. All in all - Definitely coming back again! Hopefully before they close for September!
