I haven't ordered from here in a while, and honestly, I was shocked when my total came out to $56 for one pizza, half a dozen garlic rolls, and a salad. For a local, nothing-fancy spot, that pricing is pretty baffling. If the food had lived up to it, I wouldn't have minded as much--but it didn't. I ordered a red pimento pizza with mozzarella, meatballs, and red peppers, and the portion of meatballs was almost laughable. I'm not exaggerating when I say it looked like they used half a meatball for the entire 16" pizza, shredded so thin it was barely noticeable. For what I paid, I expected a lot more. On top of that, the flavor just wasn't there. It was underwhelming across the board, which made the price even harder to justify. I wouldn't order from here again--it's definitely not worth it. If you're in the area, you're better off trying a wood-fired or more authentic spot where you'll likely spend the same amount but get much better quality. read more

Amazing, just amazing! We came down to Key Largo for our honeymoon and our first night in we stopped for dinner. Extremely friendly people running the place, so kind. We've had it two more times during our stay in town and each time it was as amazing as the first. The pizza was our favorite, every ingredient gels perfectly together, and the honey on top is *chefs kiss* read more

Service ok seemed like they were in a hurry for us to Go which isn't a terrible thing. The food was good I had the lasagna it was pretty good nice and cheesy. My wife had the lobster and crab ravioli she said it was really good. My daughter had the seafood Alfredo and it was ok my only issue was using imitation crab and saying it has actually crab in it and charging the price that it does. Overall everything was ok nothing wrong but nothing great either read more

Great pizza, good service and just a great atmosphere. The pizza was made just right with a little charring on the bottom and we liked it so much we ordered out a couple of days later. read more

Sorry no pizza pics. We wanted to grab some pizza for back at our hotel and upper crust came highly recommended. Rightfully so. We popped in and grabbed some wine (only pic I took) while we waited for our pizza. The atmosphere was fun, the staff chatted with us a lot while we waited, and the wine was good enough to grab a second round while waiting. Once the pizza was ready we settled up and headed back to the hotel. The pizza was still great cold. We just got a basic pizza, but it was done well. The two of us are the whole thing and wished we had grabbed some others to try. If you're in the area and want a nice place to hang out or just want to grab and go like we did, you won't go wrong at Upper Crust. read more

Oh, man! Someone at the campground had mentioned another pizza place during our morning Water Aerobics, but it evidently isn't open till 4 - and we need lunch! It was a perfect pizza -we went for the house speciality - which had all the goodness you can see in the pic - but we asked to hold the extra sauce. our pizza arrived quickly, our server was awesome and the beer was cold, light and served in chilled glasses. What more could anyone want? read more

It was floppy but not floppy at should have been since there was no crisp undercarriage. When you fold the slice might break. Crust had great crisp. Cheese has good flavor and texture. Sauce is satisfactory. Very solid sauce... they sell by the slice which is great if you're driving by and want a quick slice or two... but im not going out of my way to get it or order. 6.8. read more

This place is a hidden gem. The pizza is delicious!!!! Do yourself a favor and enjoy the best pizza in the Florida Keys!!!

Ehhh, not a good pizza imo. Actually nobody in our group liked it. Crust is kinda weird.

The pizza was not good. Staff were friendly enough but I was so sick all night after eating this pizza. I would not recommend.

Y'all know the name of one of my hardcore favorite Italian restaurants on the mainland. So when "someone" and I drove down to the keys from the northern part of the county, we spotted Upper Crust from the side of the road and decided to stop in. In the final analysis it was close to where we originally planned to go but at least it will tide us over until sunset. They have a bunch of bottles on beer on the wall, and when we drove back at night the place seemed packed with a lot of cars. Maybe our experience would have been better just for drinks or just a quick bite on the road. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza to share, water and iced tea. The pizza was prepared in the restaurant and with plenty of toppings. However, the dough was a little too "well done" / "crispy " for my taste. It also seemed a little on the oily side. read more

We loved Upper Crust and will definitely return! The staff was super friendly and helped ensure we had a delightful visit. We had Buffalo chicken pizza. The sauce rivaled anything we have gotten in NY. Also got a pepperoni/ meatball Stromboli and it was perfect. Crust was crispy. Red sauce on the side was deep and flavorful read more

The seafood pizza is the best I ever had. One of these days I'll have another one of their other pizza. Love their selection of beers. We've had their meatballs and their clams...delicious, the accompanying garlic bread is out of this world. We'll be back for sure for the seafood pizza and try another type...to go read more

Pizza was OK. Service was OK. The pizza tasted good but the crust was kind of soggy.

Ok so I do absolutely love this pizza but I just called for a pickup . 2 small pizzas & a salad & my total was $70!! What ?!! I asked her if she had the order correct cuz I've been eating here for years & that seemed high . She confirmed the order & I said you can cancel that is absolutely ridiculous!!! I can go to C&C & get 2 pizzas, 2 salads & 4 drinks each for less than that ! It's unfortunate because this place has great food . Won't be back . read more

Typically we get pizza from here... which is great. But recently we have gotten lasagna and chicken parm... we absolutely loved it! The gravy is perfect... rich and delicious! Cheese bubbly and cooked to perfection. The staff is very friendly and we always welcome the warm hello and conversation. LOVE this place!! If you appreciate beer, this is your place. Food is fresh made. Wish we were closer and we'd be here every week.

Unfortunately, the pizza dough is frozen and premade not fresh so from that point on you can realize that pizza went downhill. The service was good until I asked about the pizza dough and then went all downhill. The atmosphere is great has the old Key vibe however I would not Recommend the pizza. I did not try any other entrées. Call Domino's. read more

I'm going to cut it short and get to the point... the wings were soggy with absolutely zero sauce on them and not only that, they were $11.60 for only 6 wings.. very disappointed. Summing it up, this was a very good night out. We had the 14" Chillax Pizza which was enough for two people with leftovers. The Chillax is like a new and improved Hawaiian pizza. Pineapple, bacon, red peppers, onion, pepperoncini. The only downfall was the crust which I would rate a 4/5. Our server (possibly Emelia) was great. Very attentive and gave drink suggestions. The vibe that we loved was the way the staff bantered with locals as they came in. read more

Let's be real for a moment. Is there really any bad pizza? Upper Crust delivered a solid pizza to me tonight. The crust was flimsy like a NY style pizza. But the crust tasted great. I folded it length wise like I was taught. It was All good. Great toppings...because I chose them myself. Oh yes, there always could be more. But I believe they struck a good balance. Last observation. The pizza was delivered in less than 30 minutes. That alone gives them 4 stars in my book. read more

We ordered Seafood Alfredo, which was good, the lobster was perfect and so we're the scallops, but the crab tasted like imitation crab. We ordered the Princess Pizza 14", was fantastic! Stopped here to grab carryout on a pizza on the way home after snorkeling. Was ready quick. Did a cheese pizza, the caprese salad, and then a half order of garlic knots (they called it something else but I can't remember). While I didn't eat any of the caprese salad I thought it very tomato heavy and lacking fresh mozzarella. They said it tasted good though. I liked the cheese pizza, not everyone did though. It was a thinner crust. Lastly the garlic knots, which I normally love, was not a fan. I can't put my finger on what it was, but didn't finish and threw it away. All in all, I would grab it for a quick pizza again. But it's just a regular quick pizza. read more

Pizza was good, not great just good. Had been scuba diving that day, tired and didn't want to go any where so we ordered pizza. It was delivered on time, however menu online said pizza was $17 but when I called it was double that price. Girl on the phone said, yeah our prices online aren't up to date.... I feel bad for people who haven't had the glorious opportunity to have tried their Eggplant Parm Pizza. I was initially intrigued by their beer selection and once I looked at that menu, I knew they were going to have me completely enthralled. Just a heads up, you can get two pizzas in one as long as both sauces are the same. I ended up resting my own pizza with salami, garlic, onion, and broccoli. Meanwhile, the other half was the very decadent Eggplant Parmesan. Obviously, everything in the Keys is low key so don't judge the facade. Sit at the bar and order as you would, I promise you that you'll be surprised. Dude, there's a Fajita Pizza? Since when ? I mean, I noticed the magnet on my Abuela's fridge on mm103 but I didn't expect her to know what's up! The crust is L shaped. Yes, capital L if you're asking. Honestly, it's perfect. Create your own or pick one of the favorites on the menu. Regardless, it's a hit. Plus, they deliver! Dude, this place is solid. read more

This really hurts because I love pizza and dive bars and putting that boat together should be an amazing combination in addition to the bar food. But sadly this is not the case for this place. Recently in November, I took my first trip in a very long time to southern Florida, and my first time in in key Largo, in which I found many awesome places, and seeing that this was a pizzeria right across the street from my hotel almost was definitely a welcome sign and something to be excited about, but this was not the case at all. Being from New York City, I really cannot hold up a lot of establishments and South Florida to our standards and quality and style of pizza. Although there is another restaurant called pizza tower across the street that did an amazing job that blows his place away and came very close to authentic Brooklyn style pizza however, when I walked into this uppercrust establishment, it was a very sad looking bar and it looks like the customer service would have been awful if I had to stay inside and have a few drinks as it was being run by one person. My other observation was a soon as I walked in both of the cocks in the back, just stood there and were staring at me, very weird. But I am going. Of the pizza and this was the thing that really shocked me and this is my paramount complaint is that the pizza was an embarrassing excuse for pizza which was certainly I am 99.9% sure that this was some sort of frozen pizza pulled out of the freezer and just heat it up in the microwave or toaster oven, it was pathetic, looking, sad, tiny and what pushed me over the top was that it was not even cheap for South Florida, which I would expect, this place had actually the nerve of charging well over $4 or $4 plus tax for the slice of pizza. Now back home here in New York City. There are many Places making excellent authentic pizza for about $3 a slice. Why on earth would I be paying more than that over $4 for this embarrassing slice of pizza in Key Largo where it should be cheaper especially for what I am getting. Also, what also tickles me is that they don't know what "regular "means... they always ask me outside of NYC , is it cheese pizza ??? That really annoys me, as if what would it be cold if there is nothing on it, anyway, here are the photos. I urge people to avoid this business and go to the pizza tower across the street, which does it so much better and for less. Perhaps next time I'm in town. I'll give this place another try but definitely avoid the pizza which is sad because uppercrust this place is not and it says pizza in their name. Also the box for this tiny slice of pizza was completely a waste and unnecessary and also by the way, I waited well over 10 or 15 minutes for this. read more

My family and I stopped in to Upper Crust on a Sunday evening. We were pretty undecided on what to order. Thank heaven for Yelp because 1) I learned about their Eggplant Parm Pizza; and 2) I learned you can order split pies. Woot woot! We chose a large half Pepperoni, half Eggplant Parm pizza with a dozen garlic rolls. The rolls were brought out first. They were crispy and doughy, garlicky and oily, and had this awesome pepper topping. Just when I thought those were the highlight of the meal, they brought forth the pizza. OMG! The Eggplant Parm pizza was amazing. I just could not stop eating it. Upper Crust also does delivery and take out, which is a plus! This will definitely be a mandatory stop next time we are in Key Largo. read more
