So , on December 22, 2020 my car got a flat while traveling through Placerville Ca I live 3 hours away. So I had to wait at a tire shop for a couple of hours for the repair which was fine , had not eaten that day and was hungry. Hiked up the road a half mile and saw McDonalds and decided to go there. Walked up and realized it was Covid so no walk in, also realized I could not go through the drive thru as I did not have a car. Saw a young man coming out to give food to waiting drive thru customers. Asked him if they did curbside and explained my situation, he said just call in or use the app and as long as I had a card it was no problem. So I called in and asked to order and the manager said no, they did not have staff for curbside ( yet the young man is bringing food out to others waiting ). I explained my situation and said you advertise curbside and I am hungry. The answer was no is no we will not serve you ( I even tried the app on my phone ). Now I was hungry and unhappy, but I decided to just walk up the road and forget about it for now. Ended up at a place called shoestring and they served me, they were all Covid compliant with masks on and very nice people. The food was great. As for McDonalds on Broadway in Placerville, you suck! I will never go there again. Your staff is unprofessional, rude, uncaring, and they do not follow the advertised method of curbside. Luckily I do not live there and I feel for residents who do not have transportation / may be homeless that try to get something to eat there during Covid. Poor Management Beyond Dirty Mc D's that need a over haul on management! All trash cans were not useable, over flowing onto the floor. Shift manager didn't care she had to clock out and leave it for the next manager. Plastic from something was found in Burger. They did replace burger and meal price, but that was only after we suggested it being done. Any other time we have came here- The play area, tables and floors all need to be wiped down. read more

I stopped in with two of my friends the other night about 30 minutes before they were closing the dining room. I wasn't even greeted the cashier just kind of gave me a "what do you want" kind of look. I asked for a Mcflurry and Mcdouble but the ice cream machine was broken so I got a Mcdouble and a small fry. When I came up to get my order my friend asked for some ketchup and so did I and she practically threw only 3 packs of ketchup on her tray and said "This is for both of you" and walked away. I ordered 2 iced macchiatos with no ice because I like it cold as opposed to hot but not with ice. When I recieved my cups I was extremely upset!!!! It was an inch from the top and when I asked the employer if she can fill it more she stated that the machine is programmed to fill it only as much as if it had ice. Though its rare, not everybody likes to taste just ice in there drinks. I'm sure if it were poured in another cup it would fit in a much smaller size. Rediciculous!!!! read more

BEWARE! If your order is over $24 and you plan to use a credit card you will face the same problem my family of 5 did. Our order came up to about $27 and the staff member helping us said that if we charged it we would have to cancel out one of the meals so the total would drop below the 24 dollar limit for credit they had. Then we could order the extra item and pay separately. We were flabbergasted and asked to see a manager who explained it is their company policy and nothing could be done!! Ridiculous!! I come here often with my son for the playground and Internet the bathroom always smells so I try to avoid it today my fries tasted overlooked and were a medium brown color I took them back to the counter and said my fries are overcooked as biting in the middle was dried out and tasted nasty i was told oh they aren't actually overcooked our oil is reaching the point it needs to be changed. I said well they taste nasty and was given new fries which seemed to me to be half overcooked half regular so if your oil is old why are you using it it's disgusting On returning to the play land room I noticed a wrapper and napkin laying in the playground exit/entrance for the kiddos when I got closer to pick up it was actually covering vomit. When another customer informed the employee it took several minutes for anyone to come check it out and it was an employee not on the clock she told me they asked her to please do it for free food cuz they didn't want to touch it . Well, to all of you out-of - towners just stopping by, why would they smile when they get stupid tourists from out of town that are rude and in a big all fire hurry to get to Tahoe, they trash our roads and everything else while here. Plus they speed through our middle-of-nowhere town every time they come here, Yo people the speed limit is 40 through our town, not 60, and they practically run our kids over who have to cross the freeway on the way home from school. Yes, there are better burger places, but McDondalds is consistent in what they serve, plus the kids like it. And anyone who lives here knows that jobs are scarce, and sometimes you take what you get and try to make the best of it. Could they be more friendly? Yes, could they be better at what they do? Yes, you should take pride in your job no matter what it is. And to some of you, sometimes you need a job to get through college, and as we do have a local branch of college here, some of them are pulling hours at a job and going to school, which is never an easy thing to do, so stop complaining and try to support them in some small way, as possibly being nice instead of grumpy and complaining when you go in. Worst experience at a McDonald'sI have ever had. I really think that the staff there was high, including the Manager. Stopped by on our way home from Tahoe. Stood at the counter for a good two minutes before the employees could be bothered to break from their gossip session to help me. Had to repeat my basic order 4 times for the cashier to get it right. Waited another 3 minutes to get the food after it was ready and sitting on the back counter waiting to be picked up. Almost like they completely forgot I was standing there waiting for the food. Then was given the wrong food and actual raw uncooked French fries. Such poor service and substandard food. The dining room and restrooms were also filth; paper, food and flies all over the floor and tabletops. Whomever owns that store needs to wake up and take a closer look at their staff. If there was a lower rating than 1 star I would give that instead. read more

worst flippin place ever. as I was sitting at the drive thru, I was watching the girl waiting to bag our food. she obviously wasn't paying attention as to who was watching her and started picking her nose, then proceeded to pop the zits on her face. omg seriously? yes really.
