Went on a 150pm, Tuesday summer time, there were soooooo many people! There were just like 4 staffs. We waited for our orders for 50 minutes on a supposed curbside pick up. Kids just entertained themselves in their big inside playhouse. The playhouse could get a good scrub and refresher scent. It is stinky inside there. I was waiting for the kids by the dining area so, I will not smell it. The whole bunch of customers were just standing by the cashier waiting for all their orders. The trash bins were overflowing. I was so disappointed coming to this McDonald's today the girl that was helping me check out was extremely nice. My order number was 212 on Memorial Day at 11:15 AM. The problem that I occurred was that the lady helping me needed a little bit of help in the Manager came over and was extremely rude to her. It felt like I was on one of those episodes where they're gonna come out and have TVs come out because they just wanna see if somebody's gonna stick up for the person being treated bad That is not OK that is so uncomfortable for people that are coming in this Manager definitely needs more training and should not be a manager right now The establishment here is super nice. They have a very wonderful play area. I was excited. I thought I was gonna give this place a five star. The reason that it's a two star is because of the Manager. Was ordering through the drive thru and while still deciding what my family and I were going to order the lady who was taking our order had the nerve to say are you done, you're going to slow for me! I proceeded to go to the second window to talk to the manager and was told that the person who taking the order was the manager. I asked the employee to give me the number to another manager (Donte) and she printed the receipt with number 916-868-5276 , I called the number and it was out of service. I told her about that and she wrote down another number 916-208-8057, not sure whose number that belongs to but I called and just told me to leave a voicemail, no name! This is one of two McDonalds in Placerville, CA. It is the closest right off Highway 50. I have been a recent frequent drive thru customer. Oh livin the drive thru life. Anyway, my food has always been hot and made right. No complaints there. Every time I drive on in, this place is bizzee. Folks are dining inside and the drive thru is cranking. On the rare occasion, they have forgotten to ring up items. No biggie. At least I was not charged for them. (fingers crossed), I have yet to be shorted an item either. I recommend asking for a receipt and checking your bag before driving out of the parking lot. Plus their menu does not have a lot of items that other McDonalds do that are located in more populated areas. For instance, they have no burger options on their value menu. At least they did not a couple of weeks ago. It threw me a bit when ordering off their menu. If you drive an electric vehicle, take note that the parking lot next to McDonald's has Tesla chargers. read more

When I arrived at 10:36 AM, I was told my order was canceled because I didn't arrive by 10:30 AM. I placed my order well before the breakfast cut-off time, and the app allowed me to do so without any indication that arriving after 10:30 AM would result in cancellation. Unlike other fast food apps, which have clear cut-off times for online breakfast ordering, your app did not provide any such warning. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more

Stopped off at McDonald's to grab a quick lunch before heading up to icehouse campgrounds. My husband asked for their buy one get one for a dollar special that McDonald's is advertising. He was told by the cashier that is McDonald's special, and they don't have to honor it . He asked for the manager and asked why they were not obligated to honor the special that they were advertising . He was told it is McDonald's special, but they do not have to honor it because it's McDonald's. He asked the manager, but you are a McDonald's, chain right? So my husband ordered three chicken sandwiches with no mayo. I'm not sure if they were just being jerks, but all three sandwiches came with extra mayo. The people at this McDonald's have restored my Faith in humanity. I was craving a hot fudge sundae with nuts, I could not find any Sundae things at the grocery store, so I came to McDonald's to get some thing tasty. They no longer carry peanuts to go on top of the Sundaes, which is a bummer, but the super nice guy at the window had a great idea to put the peanut butter crumbles on top. He saved the day. The people working behind the counter and the drive through window really went above and beyond to satisfy my wishes for a delicious little treat. The guy who made it brought it to me as I was paying to make sure it was just right. It was so kind and touching that I had to pull over to write this review. Eventually I got my order, checked to make sure all the items were in the bag (because I can't walk into the store if it's wrong) and went home.
