    Chicken Mango Curry
    Jeffrey R.

Wow. I finally made it to the International MCDs! Lots of fun items to try. We got a burger from Brazil. Chicken Mango Curry from Germany. The cheese and onion burger was hearty, cheesy and so good. Oh and the BBQ fries we got to shake on the seasoning in a bag. We only used about half and they were perfect. The Chicken Mango Curry was neither curry nor mango. It's served with a long piece of cucumber which is nice but I'm not eating lettuce. The chicken is breaded and fried and gets soggy quick. But hey I tried stuff! So fun. Pro tip: they have curbside pickup. No hunting for spots!

I would never eat at McDonalds, but you can't come to Chicago and be in West Loop and not stop by Hamburger University. This is were Mickey D'e execs and restaurant managers and owners come to train. We came because monthly they feature menu items from around the world with a global McFlurry. We tried the smoky bbq fries and mango mcchicken wrap. Fries didn't taste any different from the regular fries and the mcchicken was good with the mango pieces. This would not be anyplace I'd ever go, but we were parked nearby, and if you're in the area, you'll see folks walking around with their Hamburger U backpacks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Orders placed at the onscreen self-serve touchscreen kiosk. Orders quickly completed.

Tried the Philly Cheese Stack Burger from the UK. Good flavor but a little dry. The fried onions were my favorite part 6/10. Still think the QPC is better. Also got the Mixed McPops from Spain. They tasted like packaged donuts 3/10. The berry flavor was definitely the best one though. Fries weren't crispy enough but they were hot and fresh 5/10. Service was fine. Ordered through the kiosk and they brought the food out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Casual vibes and it's a pretty big spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This is the signature McDonald's in the country. It's right next to McDonald's HQ and they feature a rotating menu from locations around the world.

This McDonald's is located at the McDonald's HQ and Hamburger University in Chicago. I've been wanting to come here for a long time but it wasn't much of a priority since it's just McDonald's. Well, I'm not even kidding when I say this was probably the best McDonald's food I've had lol, and it makes me wonder if the quality here is also just better. Their menu has a "Global Menu" featuring items from around the world that you can't get at any other McDonald's. We chose to try the global menu's ghost pepper McChicken, garlic pepper crinkle cut fries, mango curry snack wrap, and the McPops (chocolate, biscoff, strawberry). After eating everything, I'm definitely sad I can't get these at my regular local McDonald's because they were all so good!! First, the McChicken was bigger than a typical one, and it had a super spicy ghost pepper sauce on it that was definitely spicier than the sauce that goes on a spicy McCrispy. I liked the mango curry snack wrap a little bit more out of the two. The sweet and spiciness of the mango curry paired extremely well with the chicken, crunchy and refreshing cucumbers, and crispy onions that came on it. I thought it was way better (and also a little bigger) than the snack wraps at our local McDonald's. Next, the crinkle cut fries were perfectly crispy and flavorful, and I would genuinely eat those all the time if I could. And lastly, the McPops surprised me a lot. I was expecting them to be a stale texture, but they were sooo soft and the texture was amazing. I also feel iffy sometimes about strawberry flavored desserts because I tend to dislike artificial strawberry flavor, but the strawberry one did not taste artificial at all.

Visited the worlds largest McDonald's and tried a few items off their global menu which did not disappoint. The ghost pepper mc chicken was a favorite with a super spicy kick. This sandwich is a must try if you love high spice levels. The mango curry mc wrap was also a good choice, very tasty. Service is top notch, you can use computer kiosk to order or order at the register with an individual, you won't be disappointed either way. Everything food wise was good from the waffle fries, the ice cream sundae, the Nutella, biscoff and berry donuts were all so delicious. I wish all McDonald's had this menu as I would visit more often more than likely. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is great, team members bring your food to your table which is pretty helpful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance - clean, love the modern look, great for quick bite/lunch[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service - speedy, got my order within 5 min of ordering at the kiosk, I would recommended ordering on the app earlier if you are in a rush Food - unique location that offers global menu favorites, the spicy black pepper chicken nuggets had a great balance of heat/black pepper flavor, fries were hot

Hamburger university is the McDonald's to be at! With a rotating menu with items that change from all over the world, you never know what you're going to get to try! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Quick, self-ordering service and a clean environment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Great service, very clean, and has outdoor seating. We ordered the: Ebi burger (without mustard) from Japan Big tasty burger from Sweden Salted caramel soft serve cone from Korea Highly recommend the salted caramel soft serve cone. The flavors complimented each other so well! The ebi burger was a nice change from the filet o fish. Would try again. The big tasty just tasted like a Big Mac. Nothing special.

I was glad we visited this place but was kind of disappointed that the global menu was limited. Upon further research, it was because they rotate their global menu daily and only serves limited variety per day. We did the self order on the monitor and took our time picking what we wanted. If I was not pregnant, I would've chosen either the shrimp or burger but I chose chicken for safety of eating either a half cooked burger (not that they serve half cooked but I was just cautious) or seafood. Anyway, most of the global menu that day we visited were composed of the sweets. The McPops tasted like the Dunkin's Munchkins but bigger. The Caramel McFlurry tasted like normal vanilla ice cream with flavoring on top. The double chicken burger was normal and the winter fries were good. Our orders arrived immediately that I was surprised at how fast it took. There's also free candy to grab on the counter but I didn't like the mints. Overall, I enjoyed my meal here.

I was expecting a lot more from the international menu but I was a bit underwhelmed by the choices, sadly. At least the service is quick and the staff are super friendly.

We heard about the global menu offerings at this location and we had to give it a try. While some of the items were unavailable by the time we arrived, we were still able to try a few things including a shrimp filet, chicken tasty and salted caramel ice cream. We also threw in a oreo pie for good measure. Staff was nice despite us arriving at what we thought was closing time but apparently not because people still arrived to order in person and pick up food from delivery services. If back in town I would return to see what else they put on the menu.

The corporate office/global location McDonalds!! First off the service was great. We were greeted as we entered! I have never received experience and welcome like that before. We got to try different items that are only located in other countries such as the McTasty, Chicken McTasty, Crispy waffle chips, Donut holes, etc. They had the process down of having many kiosks available. The food was ready so fast (fast food Lol) and they delivered it to our table! What a fun experience!

A single patty is 2 and a double is 3z I went with a double but honestly should have done a single. Food came out quick and the burger is super juicy. Fries were hot and delicious and even though it was the simplest burger I've ever had in my life I would say it's one of my top three favorite burgers I've ever had. Can't wait to come back.

Shout out to him for doing the damn thing. Although I would like to mention it was I who named it and claimed it for myself way back in 2001 after a visit to the city for a college conference. However me and my bestie couldn't figure out how to make it happen on a 20,000 labor organizer salary lmao. So we remain on the east coast while my swagger jacking little brother paints the Windy City red. Anyway because he's so in love with this city and knows its in and outs, I often send him dubious "influencer content" of recent transplants that act like just because THEY just Columbus'd a new spot it must be new to EVERYONE. And the recommendations are often awful and likely paid for (extorted). It sends him into a rage which again - we love. My fave kind of terrible content to send him is Top 10 burger spots in Chicago. The lists are often wrong, outdated, and criminally under seasoned. Every once in a while though there is a fleeting moment of alignment and Little Bad Wolf is it. This truly may be the best burger in Chicago. Food: -Wolf burger - egg fried HARD for me -Bad burger - add egg for my brother -Bad burger - as is for my mom -crab cakes - for SIL -mashed potato- for the toddler -Brussels sprouts for the table The patties were well seasoned and melted in my mouth. I adore crispy onion straws. Beer was crisp and refreshing. Service was outstanding Perfect vibe on a midday Monday Bench and chair seating for all bodies. 100% worth the hype!
