I have gotten this to go a few times but this was my first time eating there! My bf and I sat at the bar and had the best time! They have a ton of cocktails and they are very cool! We were able to chat with the general manager a bit and hear NADC story, it made me love this spot even more! I got a passion fruit drink with boba this was great! As we were chatting they mentioned an eggnog drink! I love eggnog so this was for me, and it was perfect! Such cool cocktails here, I had no idea!! We split the burger which was phenomenal. I thought there would be a lot of people so I was surprised that I walked in for lunch on Sunday and it wasn't busy, which was nice. My friend and I each ordered a burger and fries for ourselves. Ethan had been wanting to try this place because his childhood favorite skater is the owner. Got takeout late Thursday night, and was really impressed. The burger is exactly what you want and need from a burger: greasy, cheesy, flavorful. The fries were the real star of the show. Perfectly crispy and some of the longest fries I've ever had. I wish I took a picture of one of my really long fries, it was like 8+ inches. I'm definitely going to come back here. It's everything you want from a burger spot. No frills, simple menu. With only one Burger on the Menu, we decided on the NADC Burger. The NADC was fantastic. Perfect blend of savory and melty goodness. Employees are very rude. My girlfriend and I arrived and we were told there was a 15min wait and we needed to wait outside, no problem with that! We went to the car and waited 15min and returned and were told sorry we gave your table to someone else.. come back in 30min. They don't take your name, phone number, any information to save your spot in line. And they didn't even apologize. They just rudely told us we are shit out of luck. There's not a damn chance that I would ever return here to recommend this place to anyone. NADFC. I was already going to going to leave a poor review, perhaps a 2 but changed it to a one after I found out that they automatically charged a 20% tip when I did not authorize them to. They didn't mention anything during the service and what I authorized on their credit card machine does not match my bank statement. They definitely didn't deserve gratuity either. Our entire visit here just seemed off. We sat down at a table and they handed us menus but was told to order at the bar. I I placed my order and they needed to hold onto my credit card until we were finished. We also had to get our own water and utensils and get our own food once the beeper started vibrating. Can someone help me understand how that merits any type of gratuity? The burgers were $16 each which is a fair price for a decent size burger, but these weren't any bigger than a McDouble. I also ordered mine without pickles and they still put pickles in the damn thing. Even if I take them off, the pickle juice flavor stays in the burger. Definitely not worth the $16. I would have loved if the burger came with lettuce and tomato to cut through the richness, but this meal definitely would hit during or after a night of drinking. This's our first time visiting this place! There's only one burger item on the menu. You can add an order of fries or this loaded fries. It's a bar/ burger spot. You order it at the bar, they give you a buzzer and you just go pick it up when it's ready. You can seat yourself anywhere available. They also have non alcoholic beverage options. The burger is on the pricier side in my opinion, $16 for a 2 Patties, $8 extra to get the 3 Patties. We got 2 burgers, 1 order of fries and 2 non-alcoholic drinks are close to $50 before tips. The burger itself is very good and fresh, very flavorful and the special sauce is pretty tasty in my opinion. And the fries are fried with beef tallow!! The burgers are All made to order, so it does take some time to get your order. There's street parking close to the area, or few mins walk from the train. I have been frequenting this place at least twice a month over two years! I have always been treated amazingly here, today was so different! The bartender was abrasive from the second we walked in and yelled about parking(I didn't park I got out of an uber) I told him I didn't park...I took an uber, he continued with his poor attitude. Okay maybe he is having a bad day, not the customers problem. We decided to stay because we like the food ( AND REGULAR SERVICE SO MUCH) this bartender continued to give shit attitude then had the audacity to tell my girlfriend she could not have a drink and a shot at the same time. This is not an uncommon request in any part of this city. We have been frequent regulars and wish to continue however the service this evening was very off putting and we will not return or recommend this place if this is your new standard. I had a conversation with him to break the tension as I understand people go through things personally. I visited 1/11/26 around 5pm. I work in Luxury Service and this type of treatment was unprofessional. A basic procedure is good attitude and willingness to assist. (This is my first time leaving a yelp review - I never do this - but I truly don't want anyone to have this experience I had) This place is called NADC (Not A Damn Chance) because it's not a damn chance you would go here a second time after trying this awful burger and severely undercooked fries, as well as witnessing how rat infested the restaurant is as well. I ordered my burger to go and stepped outside and was shocked to find the dumpster that is immediately right next to/outside adjacent to the building to be severely infested with rats! I saw at least 10-15 rats climbing all over the dumpsters and around the area next to the restaurant and my stomach immediately dropped. I had already ordered and paid for my food, so I decided to still pick the order up- however this was a disgusting and shocking sight to see before eating your food. Upon trying the food, the disappointment I felt is hard to put into words. As a Chicagoan and someone who has loved burgers from around the city , this burger and the flavoring was simply atrocious. The fries were no better. Undercooked and I could barely eat them. So it's safe to say... there's Not A Damn Chance I will ever come near this place again! Please avoid it at all costs. A friend asked for a small adjustment to the burger and was told "well then, what's the point?" She also routinely walked past our table, which was full of trash. I love trying different smash burgers in the city so this has been on my list. The patties were juicy and flavorful. I liked all of the toppings on here, but wish there were more jalapeños or something else just to add a bit more of a snappy texture. Overall very solid smash burger in the city, maybe just a bit heavy for my personal taste. I prefer some of the more inexpensive smash burgers in the city as my go-tos but this is definitely somewhere to try at least once. The fries were probably my favorite above the burger. If there's one thing I am, it's being a burger girly. The burger scene in Chicago is endless and NADC has always been on our list for the longest time. We decided to give it a try on a random Wednesday night. For a Wednesday, I'd say it was pretty packed but luckily we were able to grab a booth in the back. I know there's a lot of comparison of SALT and NADC to INO but being from California, I'd say the "dupes" are not really comparable. The beast mode fries were good in their own way.. I loved the thin and crispiness of the French fries and the pickled toppings packed a nice punch. Now for the burger.. first bite.. I was intrigued and it was going well. The smashed patty had a nice char to it. However, the more I bit into the burger, the flavor was getting lost in the sauce.. literally. There is some special sauce in the burger that really is smothered way too much and it takes away from the burger I feel like. The sauce didn't really taste like much too but just a way too creamy sauce that killed the charred patty taste that I love in a burger. For the price point, I don't think the burger was worth it. There are way more affordable options that hit the spot. Definitely a cool vibe in here but I don't think NADC made our top burgers list in the city. read more

My son saw this place in YouTube a few weeks ago and wanted to try it. After the Shed I bought the kids and husband to check it out. Bad idea! The food sucked and it was overpriced. We had to wait 20 minutes for a table. They cramped all six of us into this "party table" seats were uncomfortable by daughter fell off one of the seats. Next we are brought Menus and waitress didn't come back. Thirty minutes later she tells us we have to order at the bar. I order and get some drinks then we wait some more. And we waited.
