It was ok. Expensive for a fast food burger, and not really anything that WOW'd, so it's not going to be a regular spot for me. But a friend and I are planning a big trip with our kiddos and we needed a spot to chat about it. I ordered the classic burger (no pickles please), and it was good and quite filling. Next time I will not order the large fries, because they are not kidding when they call them large. The fries were huge and a small or maybe medium would have been plenty. The fries were really good, and pretty crisp, which I much prefer to limp French fries. I got some ranch dressing too since I prefer that for my fries. My friend got the patty melt which she liked a lot; she wasn't sure because of the giardiniera but it passed the test. The staff was helpful, and the restaurant was pretty clean. The parking situation in this shopping center is garbage, though. I am positive that the developers made the parking spots slightly smaller than what is standard. I've come here before and wondered if the cars were more closely parked together than other places. Most recently when we came for epic burger, the cars on either side of mine were just over my forearms length apart. I opened the door for my toddler and she had some trouble getting in initially, so if that's not evidence of the too-small spaces I don't know what is. Thankfully she's in her helpful era and she helped me get her buckled into her car seat since I could only get one arm in at a time. I couldn't open the driver's side door wide enough to get into the car, so I had to wait until the other person came back. (Shout out to the folks that had been sitting next to us in the restaurant; as they were leaving they said that they told the man who's car it was that it was parked too close so they must have seen me hanging out by my car.) I've been to a few epic burgers around town and as per fast foot goes it's pretty solid for the price range and quality. I usually go for the classic epic or the cowboy. They have been pretty consistent with how they prepare their burger nice amount of caramelization and charring on the burgers and good toppings. It always comes out like the picture and the fries nice and crisp with different options as well. Service is pretty fast and consistent. Never had wait. Can't comment on the food because unfortunately they refused to let us order. My husband and I walked in after our workout. There were a good amount of people eating indoors. It was strange at first that no one was acknowledging us when we stood at the counter to order. Eventually, the girl behind the register seemed uncomfortable and said "umm, we can't take any orders now." When I asked why, she said "we need to catch up on the online orders." So we confirmed that she was pretty much refusing to serve us as walk in customers. She went to speak with the very stressed out man on the grill in the back, who seemed to be working alone. I asked for their epic sauce on the side and I'm glad I did because the burger with the grilled onions and cheese ended up being very rich and juicy. I think the epic sauce would have made it just too oily and heavy for my taste. The burger patty is not too thick but one burger is plenty for a meal. We got a chocolate peanut butter shake, but they misheard, so they gave us a free shake. I left feeling very full, but I didn't hate myself like I normally do when I have a full burger. Or see it. The patties are also pretty well done. They flatten them or something. There was a lot of drippage while eating. But I don't like that they don't disclose that certain toppings are extra on their chart. Like a slice of cheese was 99¢ more.
