The cheese burgers were very good and I love the fries. We had fast service and [[HIGHLIGHT]]it had clean facilities.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

5 stars awarded for one reason: they were open when we got down from the observation deck on 9/11/2025. Every other place was closed, and we were super hungry. Other than that - I'm completely mystified as to what the Shake Shack buzz is about. I will say that they put a healthy (irony!) amount of bacon on my bacon cheeseburger. So, full credit for that, but there are other chains that make a much better bacon cheeseburger - Whataburger and 5 Guys, by a mile.

    Great burger & fries !

Popped in here last minute as I was leaving the building after the skyline view. Perfect for your late night snack. I got 2x of their traditional burgers and I couldn't resist ordering their hot dog with added crispy onions. This meal was the perfect stamp to end a wonderful night after viewing the Chicago skyline up above.

Well I decided to go to the Willis Tower to see and try this shake shack burger,. It is a franchise I see a lot and kind of made it into a bucket list of curiosity. It was just a meh ok. I say this because I compare this to the taste of a Culver's butterburger it almost tastes the same and even the size is the same. To me it was a copy check of a Culver's Burger franchise the burgers taste just like that and it's not bad but at the same time I could have just gone to Culver's. Another thing I did not like was the service because if you go to a live person they only accept cash and the kiosk I have a blood donation card and it's not a tap or a chip you have to swipe like the old school credit cards and they don't offer that and if you go to the service person he only accepts cash.[[HIGHLIGHT]]ambience as usual is pretty hip or especially since it's at the Willis Tower so it's very touristy it's just a bit overpriced for my taste[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] it's not a bad Burger but it's not some place I would go because the taste of their shake shack Burger is almost exactly the same as a culver's burger and it's less expensive buying a Culver's Burger. I spent almost $25 and to me the Burger to how much I paid for is something I can get more elsewhere especially from Culver's and even Culver's I don't like going there because I don't feel unsatisfied in regards to quality and quantity. Thus the three stars

We ordered from here as we were too lazy to step up out. The food absolutely exceeded my expectations. The black truffle hamburger was outstanding--absolutely delicious! The fries were perfectly crispy and cheesy, and both the vanilla and strawberry shakes were fantastic. I'll definitely be ordering from Shake Shack again!

Based in the Sears Tower, this Shake Shack is lacking nowhere when compared to its peers anywhere else in the city. ATMOSPHERE/ARCHITECTURE: 8/10 SERVICE: 8/10 Always get pretty good service from theme despite how busy it is. FOOD: 9/10 A nice Shake Shack centered in the Sears Tower, they deliver excellent fast food burgers in their price range. Contrary to their name though, I think their burgers are better than their shakes. Please try the mushroom stack burger because that one is quite fantastic! VALUE: 8/10 PROBABILITY OF RETURN: 10/10 TO EAT OR NOT TO EAT: Eat! Shake Shack is a classic that delivers quite well. OVERALL: 9/10

First time ever trying Shake Shack. Think it's overhyped sadly. This location is located in the same building as the Willis Tower. We came here right after checking out the views at 360 Observation Deck. Technically self-service here. Order your item on the machine and then wait for your order to be called. Ordered a shack burger, strawberry milk shake, and a yuzu orange cider. This place is an expensive fast food. Think we spent almost $20 for these three items. Burger was ok, it's like a fast food burger. Very small. The milk shake was pretty thick and creamy. Really sweet. The yuzu orange cider was unique. Don't usually see this in a fast food places. Well, I can say that I tried it.

It's pretty small inside, there are only a few tables. A server comes to your table to place your order, which I feel like never happens at ice cream shops anymore! The menu is huge! There were multiple sections to banana splits, sundaes, and shakes. We decided to go with something simple. My son ordered 2 scoops of cookies n cream ice cream (with sprinkles of course) and I got moose tracks! The ice cream is the real deal. Our server was super sweet, and we were in and out of there in probably 30-45 minutes. We had the best time and will definitely be back this summer.

(The fact that the joint's been around for over 100 years doesn't hurt either.) It's a small restaurant but we managed to snag a cozy table near the back. We'd already spent most of the day eating, so we decided to share the Atomic Fudge Sundae. It's a fairly enormous concoction. I found it interesting that the hot fudge was served on the side, but it's actually pretty smart because you get control how much (or how little) sauce you get. The ice cream is the highlight. It's creamy and rich, and it's got a really nice flavor, too. The hot fudge was less impressive, but that might be because I had already eaten a Ghirardelli sundae earlier in the day and their hot fudge just can't be beat. The service was super friendly and the atmosphere was kitschy and fun. It's a cool place.

My favorite, along with many others, is the iced banana bread latte. Definitely get it with the vanilla cinnamon cold foam! I've had a variety of pastries here, but particularly love the coffee cakes and cookies. The breakfast sandwich is also really great if it's fresh. The staff for the most part have been very warm and friendly. If it's busy, they are less likely to want to chat about the options and give a recommendation, so come in with a few ideas of what you're looking for if you come on a weekend! The store itself is very cute, with lots of wood and warm colors. There is limited seated outside on a few benches. I recommend walking to the park to enjoy your treats and coffee.

She recommended a Bolognese Danish, a Dubai pistachio brownie, and I added an everything bagel and took it all to go. The Danish was by far my favorite. The pastry was flaky, heavenly, and the filling rich and meaty. This is a pastry worth crossing town for. The brownie was fine, but maybe I'm over the Dubai chocolate trend. It didn't really come together as a unified dessert for me. I wanted the brownie to be richer, fudgier, maybe even a bit sweeter. I would probably get something else next time. The everything bagel was a good texture, but the fennel seeds in the seasoning took me so far away from the classic "everything." They overpowered the other flavors, but the texture was fantastic. Overall, I enjoyed the treats I got, would go back to try some other options. I would probably give this 3.5 stars, but I'm rounding up. Also want to add how much I miss Hot Chocolate!
