On a work trip and wanted to try this place as I saw it and there was a deal on Uber Eats. Ordered: Fries were soggy and just over salted Free Nuggets with over $20 order: underwhelming to say the least, the batter was off in flavor as maybe the oil was old. Also over salted. Chicken sando breading was lifeless and something was off about it but was the best thing I ate. The coleslaw was a nice texture and balanced the sando well. I'll say this, I believe the ingredients were all there but it just felt like whoever cooked and packaged it just had an off day. It tasted like it was just thrown together by someone that just didn't care about delivering their best. Gave 3 stars as maybe the delivery caused some of the poor experience. read more

Somewhere between a 3 and a 4, but giving them the benefit of the doubt since I've only been once, and they're still fairly new. Tl;dr go one spicy level lower than usual. Chicken is good but quite salty. Casual vibes with most people doing takeout. Decent value for money. ===== Stopped by one evening and got the 'half coward', aka 6 wings, at the medium spice level. The wings were made to order and the worker kindly informed me that it would take a little bit longer than my friends' orders (chicken and waffles/sliders). May have ended up being five or so minutes later, which was perfectly fine with me. The wings were a decent size and for $11.5 + tax, it seemed pretty good in this economy. The coating was a little harder and saltier than I would have liked, but they were cooked to perfection and the chicken inside was juicy and tender. As mentioned above, salt levels here are high, and the medium spice level was spicier than I normally would expect. Thankfully I knew to order a level lower than usual after reading some other online reviews. I appreciate that they had a good number of tables and self-serve water. Food comes out pretty fast and the workers are friendly. My main nitpicks are that all food is served in a pretty tall takeout box even if you're dining in. This made it a bit tricky to eat the food inside until we dismantled the boxes into makeshift plates. I also think they could go a bit easier on the salt. Had a great experience both times except the second time the woman who took our order could not understand English at all and had to have her coworker help her take our order. The guy who helped us both times we visited within the week (late evening time) was helpful and suggested menu items and was patient as it was our first time ordering. I was sold on it being antibiotic free without hormones, since I was reluctant to eating any fast food chicken out here in these hormone pumped chicken streets. (Yes I'm spoiled from eating REAL meat outside the country and can easily taste the difference between the real and the fake GMO stuff). The chicken is so juicy, well flavored and cooked to perfection. It takes some time for food to be ready but I'd rather wait for fresh cooked chicken than the one that's been sitting out for quite some time. Because the cashier was so helpful and the chicken was amazingly flavored and juicy I'm giving it 4 stars. From a first glance, the place didn't look or feel the cleanest due to the sticky residue and trash lying on the floor. In addition to the filth contaminating the restaurant, we ordered the 2 kinds of sandwich, and I believe we also ordered 2 sets of chicken tenders. The chicken they gave us was surprisingly big but the seasoning seemed cheap. It was evident that only half or a fraction of the chicken was actually seasoned, seen from the color disorientation caused by the seasoning. Overall the meal was satisfactory but in all honesty the chicken tasted a bit rubbery. One thing I didn't mention is that I also ordered the onion rings which is just an onion opened up like a flower covered in batter which gets deep fried, only problem that it was only half cooked so towards the bottom half of the onion ring it was still all mushy soggy from the batter. read more

Decided to try Crimson Coward out on my birthday, unfortunately the absolute worst restaurant experience I have ever had in my life. My family and I walked in, walked on their sticky floor, ordered from their sticky screen, and sat down. I went to chat with the guy at the front and he said I should cancel my order because the person supposed to be helping him with the work is not there and there are too many orders, I was disappointed but I said sure. I go to the front to cancel and he tells me wait so I stand there, a few minutes later a lady walks in and start cooking the food and he said it would be 5 minutes. Mind you I ordered 5:25. At like 6 I go to ask them how much more longer it is going to take and all they tell me is "You have a big order, wait". Order comes out at 6:20. After taking all of our food to the table I go to the front again and say I ordered drinks as well, the guy walks over from the kitchen, looks at me, says "okay", and walks back in to the kitchen??? I look at the lady and she gives me a puzzled look. I had to walk in the back and grab the cups myself! Of course, they forgot my sandwich. My family starts eating their food, I have some of the fries, literally uncooked, onion bloom, barely even fried, it was like a raw onion, my family shows me their chicken, half cooked as well. I was in utter disbelief like how back could this place be??? At this point I could not stay in there for another second, and left without eating anything for my birthday. To top it off, I emailed Crimson Coward about this experience, no reply. $110 spent to have the worst restaurant experience ever, on my birthday! This crimson coward shop was amazing! The food was great and the staff was extremely well trained. T Clean interior and great location. Here is a detailed review on my experience: The staff was extremely friendly and lively and seemed to work really well together. The food was cooked perfectly, the tenders were fresh and hot and the fries weee crispy. The spice level was great. The medium had a good spice flavor without being overwhelming or to spicy to handle. The hot had a good flavor as well and that kick of heat that makes your tounge kind of burn. Overall this place is definitely a place I will be coming back to especially to try the rest of their items. I definitely recommend going there after they have their grand opening around 8/15. read more

This place must be some kind of front?? Hilariously terrible food. Chicken sandwich was significantly worse than the worst fast food chicken sandwich. Breading was bad, chicken quality was like the cheapest bad frozen breaded chicken you can get at the grocery store. Also why was it so greasy?? Coleslaw was 110% pepper.
