This is not review for particular location, this is for JJ at all. Missed information about pesto salad ingredients ( my was with bacon witch I hate) and don't eat. The tuna sandwich was smell like old dish washing spang. The pesto salad was expired 2 days ego and the amount of garlic can turn around normal garlic eaters. The smell of garlic was so strong and not acceptable in "good" kitchen. More doesn't mean better unless you want cover other tast or smell / smell of old dirty dish washing spang/ . read more

I'm a big fan of Jimmy John's. I get JJ sandwiches often when on the road because they're inexpensive, easy to eat, and delicious. #12 no mayo to me is about as good as a basic sub sandwich gets. But in the future, I'm going to steer clear of this franchise when I need my Jimmy fix. The main issue was the restroom, which was quite possibly the dirtiest public restroom that I have ever seen. Mmmm. I love Jimmy John's! This particular locations always has fresh subs ready to go. The service is also super fast. We always get our sub within 3 minutes of placing our order. I recommend the Porker, Italian and Beach Club sandwiches. Their Jalapeño and BBQ chips are also just as good. Don't forget to add a side of their hot peppers! It took 7 minutes from when I placed my order online today to when the front desk at my office called me that Jimmy John's had arrived. 7 minutes!!!!!!! During peak lunch hour delivery time! I am a Chicago native who defected to LA for a long time and had yet to try the legendary Jimmy John's. The truth is that each time I visited, there was just so much offered, I never got around to it. So I was anxious to try one in my new neighborhood, near Clark/Division. I have to say it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! The staff was so friendly, the place was immaculate, and they have a clean bathroom. And -- they offer this great deal on bread -- I got a couple of loaves for just $.50 each ... it's great to use for all sorts of things. On Saturday I was downtown with some friends for St. Patrick's day and decided to stop into the 205 E. Ohio St. location for some food. My friend, who is black went to Jersey Mike's down the street and had come in to join us eating. He left briefly to take a phone call and came back in to tell us he would meet us at the parade because his friend has just shown up. A worker came up to us to tell him he can't be in there. He politely told her that he knows, he is just talking to us for a minute and he will be leaving. After he left, we were asked if he was bothering us. I told her no. She then stated oh, okay because sometimes THEY come in and bother the customers and they (the store) can't have that. I told her he was my friend and she just looked stunned. This would be my second favorite JJ in the greater Streeterville area. After an awful day at work, there it was, a oasis of greatness ... a bastion of hope. I had been a lifelong customer of this location until my experience last week. I locked my bike outside the store and went in to get a sandwich as I do several times a week on my ride back home from work. I walk out and notice that my bike has been forcibly repositioned while it was locked up. Miles, a delivery boy from the store, starts talking to me in a smart ass way about how I didn't park my bike properly and that he forcibly moved it. No big deal...Until I try to ride my bike home. The frame was bent and the chain had come off and wouldn't go back on; the gears haven't worked the same since. I called the manager and he didn't care. I called Jimmy John's Corporate HQ and my complaint was forwarded to the owner of the store. He made no attempt to fix the damage or even contact me. This has been a terrible experience and I hope the people of my neighborhood understand what type of people own and operate this store before they consider patronizing it. P.S. Im one of those people that never gets hyped when someone says "I BOUGHT JIMMY JOHN'S." Actually, I never spend my money here. Everytime I come here it has been because I had a free sub coupon. This is not to knock the food or the service. I just think it fails in comparison to all of the other fabulous sandwich spots Chicago has to offer. Talk about a savory breakfast! =) Everyone here is super friendly and the sandwiches are actually made "Freaky Fast". I haven't gotten JJs delivered yet, but it's a quick walk away and since they are so fast, I might as well pick it up. First and last time customer. There are two other sub shops next door. The tuna what there was of it was watery and tasteless. The the sub was slapped together so fast it was made before I could finish ordering. The sandwich consisted of more lettuce then anything else. The bread was so tough and chewy so as not to be edible. As hungry as I was. The tuna or rather lettuce sandwich ruined my appetite. This place was super convenient since it was across the street from my hotel. It is located right next to Jersey Mike's subs so I'm sure they compete for customers daily. I have been to Jersey Mike's, here in CA, so I skipped that and tried Jimmy John's. I walked in around 11ish and was the only customer in there. Within 2 minutes of placing my order the sandwich was ready (Turkey, lettuce, tomato, cheese, mayo, onion?) + Lays chips and a drink for $9. The bread was really good and I enjoyed my lunch. The WORST customer service you can ever get !!!! when i asked the very rude worker at this location after i ordered my turkey sandwich and started to eat it if i can get some hot pepper on the side, she refused and told me to bring back my sandwich so she can open it and add the pepper to it !!! I said are you serious, i am half way through the sandwich?? cant you just put some on the side? and she started arguing with me rudely on this silly subject.... I truly think there is a reason why restaurants shut down regardless of the brand name or how successful the chain is, and one of the main reason is customer service. For me and all my friends and family we will make sure no one eats at this location any more. It is really not about the hot pepper, it is about how i was treated, and why do i have to leave that store angry and upset. It is a store run by kids who know nothing about good service.
