Trivia: what do you call a Bretzel bun sandwich without the mustard? One mayo-soggy sandwich with meager proportions of deli grade meat and cheese. The redeeming quality is the locally sourced arugula and mighty vines tomatoes were plentiful. Underwhelming = 2 star review. Here's the thing: If you are a "professional sandwich maker" for a living and the order was to hold the mayo, substitute extra mustard then this is exactly what one expects for an $11 sandwich. Had I not placed the order to go and walked 6-blocks I would have said something before my first bite!

    Everyone loves sandwiches.

The writer Henry Miller once said "You can travel 50,000 miles in America without once tasting a good piece of bread." I beg to differ. I just need to travel a few stops on the Brown Line and I'm at Hannah's Bretzel. Their bread, and the fillings between the bread, changed my mind about sandwiches. My favorites are the Thanksgiving 365 and the Italian Bresaola. The Sirloin is great as well. But they are all interesting. And they make them so carefully. I'm always stopping at the wall of chocolate as well. So many new manufacturers and flavors. It's not cheap, but it's cheaper than driving 50,000 miles!

    $10 for this

Definitely eat here if you want to feel like you got cheated out of your money. I paid $10 for this pathetic excuse for a salad. This is supposed to be a quinoa + roasted vegetables salad. Where are the roasted vegetables? Is this a joke? I wish.

So good! Loved the pretzel bread and felt high quality in terms of ingredients. Love the grass fed roast beef personally

Well, I had a really good cup of cauliflower soup here once. Nice spot to ingest a meal. Worthwhile.

The tomato basil bisque soup is delicious and you should try the Ritter Sport cornflakes chocolate bar.

Had the Hannah Classic Club. Good sandwich. Bread was thinner than standard sub bread... but much better. House Chips were awesome.

We bopped in and little to our surprise, it was the best decision we made all day. I got the shawarma bowl with gryo and the garlic sauce fries and wow, everything was to die for. I wish I wasn't just visiting Chicago so this place was more accessible to me everyday. But I fear i'd go broke if this was in my city. This is a great quick lunch option especially if visiting the zoo/park/beach area. Everything felt light, fresh, and healthy. It felt a little pricey for me but it's Chicago so it may be normal so take that as you will but for how delicious and the amazing ingredients it's worth it. Especially that dang pink sauce on the fries....you've got to get the garlic sauce fries if you check this place out. Some of the most beautiful and tasty fries i've ever had! The atmosphere is cute and bright too. A happy place to eat lunch and hang out in! I'm not from Chicago so i'm already missing this place! Add to your "must try" list for sure!

That part was lovely because often I find that with larger groups it's hard to ensure everyone is able to interact (especially since I was taking my parents) Lamb shakshuka was a winner in my book!! So flavorful and perfect hearty brunch. The skewers my parents got were wonderfully cooked. Others got a more standard scrambled egg breakfast that they said was nothing special. Definitely opt for a Mediterranean breakfast if you're at a Mediterranean spot imo.

Not sure what happened there but after a few reminders to the hostess that we were still, in fact waiting -- we were finally seated. Luckily we had some drinks at the bar in the meantime. Food came out fairly quick. The best thing we had there was the lamb raft hummus and crispy mushrooms so highly recommend those. Chicken kefta was underwhelming for a standard Mediterranean dish but based off other reviewers pictures, the other kebab dishes did not look that interesting. They played good music and wasn't too loud. You could easily carry on a conversation or , like me, continue listening to a podcast. By the time I finished, the place was completely full and a bit noisy, but not bad. I started out with a 10oz Birds of Prey Pilsner. It was very nice. Light and crisp and very easy to drink. I followed that up with Melodious Maibock and ordered the CBG burger with fries. I didn't have lunch so I dove right in and forgot to snap a photo. It was a very good smash burger. It was cooked well and I really liked the combination of pickled onion and caramelized onion. I didn't see it until later but you can add bacon. As much as I loved this burger, bacon would totally take it up a notch! I started chatting with the bartender about their different beers and decided to have the Super Melodious Jalapeño Maibock with the burger. It's soooo different, but in a good way. It paired so well with the burger. You get green bell pepper on the nose and a hint of it on the palate. When you swallow you get a little heat at the back of the throat. It was so good! Great bar. Great food. Great beer. Go check them out!

If you want to hang out at a brewery and drink amazing beer, I'd probably choose one of the other breweries in town.
