It was our first time trying Salad House in Lakeview and we were really happy we took the drives there. The salads were super flavorful and delish, everything tasted fresh, and the service was quick. Love that the food is made to order too. One thing I'd suggest... order one of the Specialty Salads and just add extra ingredients if you want more. Doing the "Make Your Own" option can end up costing a lot more. Definitely coming back again! read more

Had a really nice experience at Salad House overall. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, which immediately made the visit feel pleasant. The restaurant itself was very clean, bright, and well-maintained, and the space just felt fresh and inviting. We tried a mix of dishes including the Green Goddess Salad, Thai Peanut Salad, Greek Salad, Roasted Vegetables Salad, and the Santa Fe Wrap. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying, and the portions were great for a meal that feels light but still filling. The Green Goddess dressing was honestly the standout for me, super creamy, flavorful, and so good. Overall, such a solid option when you are craving something fresh and lighter. Definitely a place I would come back to. read more

Stopped by for a quick bite today and stumbled upon a little salad shop with delicious wraps! I got the Blackened grilled chicken wrap and it was amazing!!! Totally crushed my hunger with just half the wrap, but I couldn't stop eating! I also did not realize the wrap had beans (I'm a black bean hater), but I did not mind them at all. Can't wait to try the other chicken wraps. 'Til next time! read more

I have lived down the street from salad house for about 2.5 years and I have loved it since I have come to the neighborhood! I order from here regularly. I will stop in sometimes and order on doordash other times, they always make what I order perfectly! I love having a healthy lunch option nearby. read more

Omg great find for "fast food" that is made of whole, minimally processed options. Two salads with extra protein ran us ~$40 which is not that bad considering that's about what chipotle charges these days. The salads were FRESH with great quality ingredients. Our order was promptly ready at its promise time. Epic proportions. Will be back for sure. Don't miss this gem read more

Excellent price, great size portions, always deals on uber eats and a super friendly staff! My only complaint is that there are not more locations! Thank you Salad House. read more

Salad house is the best bang for your buck delicious salads scrumptious all types of flavors. Highly recommend this location.

Don't go here. The Owner is EXTREMELY RUDE!!! I ordered dinner for my 85 yr. old mother on Easter Sunday. I called to ask if someone could bring it and the owner was so RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL I was in shock and have literally lost my appetite. How do you send half an order when their is a printed checklist to check off what the staff place in the bag??? My mom is 85 and this could possibly be one of her last Holidays. Wow!!! How disappointing because when I was there with my colleague and couple of days ago, it was nothing but Beautiful Seasoned individuals in the restaurant. My mom didn't understand what happened to this delicious dinner she had chosen for herself. I had to order her Popeyes. This is sad because this was one of her good days. I feel absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! read more

I ordered a salad with ranch dressing but received Italian dressing, which I do not like. A customer's choice of dressing makes the whole meal. I also ordered what they said was "steak" on my salad, for an extra 6 bucks, but it was COLD CHUNKS of meat, like stew, chewy and disgusting. read more

The buffalo chicken wrap and the Greek Salad was delicious, well prepared and made. The staff is very nice and friendly as well. I definitely recommend this spot on the north side of Chicago for people wanting to give it a try. It's usually busy especially during the lunch and evening hours of the day. read more

Yo, the Jalapeno ranch salad was straight BUSSIN!!! OMG!!! I am not a salad person but I think I may have found the one place to turn me onto salads! Fresh ingredients, generous portions and lastly, the season the chicken!!! read more

I would write this is an awesome place to go get a salad. I would however mention the salads are very expensive, but they're also very delicious. I ended up with a $20 sale by the time I was done but honestly, it was so big I could've split it with somebody so I would say go there or have the salad of your dreams but then share it with a friend. read more

Salad House - Salad Shop Lakeview nailed my healthy lunch craving with their Thai Peanut salad--crisp kale, grilled tofu, crunchy noodles, and that creamy peanut dressing exploded with flavor in every bite. Generous portions, 40+ toppings let me customize perfectly, plus speedy service and sunny seating made it an ideal Broadway stop. Chicago's go-to for vibrant, guilt-free bowls! read more

Great food . Great service . Consistent. Nice people. Fresh ingredients. Best wraps in Lakeview.

With so many lunch salad & wrap places to go to for lunch here in Chicago, you could get dizzy from the choices. Just in my neighborhood (alone) we have The Lux Bar, Sweetgreen, Doc B's, Restoration Hardware, Ralph Lauren and many, many more. So, my wife and I are out running errands and we felt like having lunch. I named several places and she declared she wanted to try something new. I was driving and she was "scrolling trying to find a place for us to eat. Lo and behold, the Salad House popped up and off we went. So when we arrive at this small luncheonette positioned mid-block on North Broadway in East Lakeview, I was unimpressed. That is, until we walked in and I saw their menu and a kabillion sacks of to-go food. At that point, I felt very comfortable being there. My wife had a hale and hearty Cobb Salad which she really enjoyed and I has a Cobb Salad wrap that I absolutely loved. There is not many tables in this small diner, so I'm getting that this is a real Take-Out place. Either way, it was excellent, affordable and very clean. Will I come back here - Hell Yes! read more

I had a simple salad with blue cheese dressing. The dressing was outstanding. Service was good - just place the order and ready in a few minutes, no worries. The restaurant is setup to take orders pretty quickly whether you're taking out or dining in a nice casual seating area. Will revisit to try other salad options. read more

Ordered here for pickup and it was a solid option. It's nice that they have standard items and a 'build your own' option. I stuck with the classic chicken Caesar salad, which was pretty large and quite filling. Prices are a bit high, I think my salad was $11, but you do get a lot for your money. Never had a Caesar salad with egg in it before, not sure I needed it but it also wasn't awful. Online ordering was super easy for my friend through her phone, and pickup was right on time. If you're looking for a solid salad place with lots of options, I'd recommend it! read more

Really like this Salad place. I have come here a dozen times and it is consistently good. Erin and I got lunch to take to the waterfront and it was a perfect salad with fresh ingredients. Service is always really good and the place is clean. Price is super fair! read more

It had hardly any vegetables and an excess of greens. Definitely not worth the price.

Ordered the Chicken Noodle Soup from Salad House, and was instantly pleased and warmed up by the soothing soup! It was perfect on a cold wintry chicago day! read more

This place is exactly what you'd expect. Good salads, wraps and bowls. Lots of "rabbit food". Sometimes, though, I just need something healthier like this after eating an unhealthy meal, and this place has come through every time I've needed it. The blackened chicken wrap is my go-to, though this time I also got some chicken noodle soup which I also enjoyed. Ordered it for delivery this time and the soup was still hot when it arrived. Definitely an easy choice when craving something healthy. Prices are fair, portions are good, food is delicious. I'd recommend this place. read more

I always order the California Salad... I'm from California and this place nails it! $16 bucks gets you a large salad, perfect amount of dressing which I have them mix in. They don't seem to skimp on the amount of avocado, eggs and other toppings which makes it worth the price. Always hits the spot. 10/10. read more

Ordered via Uber eats and they were running a BOGO special on the wild rice salad. The roasted veggie salad and wild rice salad were really good and we loved the pesto dressing. The Buffalo chicken/Santa Fe/Caesar were mediocre at best, so order wisely. read more

I've become a big fan of Salad House! I believe my initial lackluster review may have been due to the fact that I was building my own salads....instead I now leave that up to the experts and order off the menu. Highly recommend the Berry Salad. Service is always super friendly and orders are prepared QUICK. read more

Update: the chicken pesto wrap is back! Love salad house and so happy to be a customer!

Two words.. Tyson Chicken. I ordered 2 chicken wraps for delivery (BOGO) and the chicken was so white, chewy, and no favor. With the burn marks just like it look like on the bag. Most of their menu items only contain iceberg lettuce.. iykyk that was the first red flag. Safe to say I will not be back. read more

I've been home sick with Covid and craving some vegetables, so I searched out some salad spots. I wasn't thrilled with the $6 delivery fee (because I don't know how much of that goes to the delivery driver) but decided to give it a try. The blackened chicken Caesar didn't quite look like the picture, but it was a great, full salad, packed with blackened chicken, veggies, and croutons. The dressing was a nice, acidic Caesar. I also ordered the fresh squeeze OJ, which was a really nice-sized portion and exactly what I wanted. read more

They raised the prices again. They have raised prices several times PRIOR to COVID! Now they have raised them again! Its not worth it They charge $1 for each salad topping and now they charge for meat on salads $35 for 2 salads is ridiculous! Better off buying groceries or going to Marianos or even Whole Foods salad bar read more

Consistently great salads to go! Fresh food, friendly staff our go to place. The bowls are very good too

Quick, fast, and healthy. Reminds me of a Chipotle but for salad. You can make whatever salad you want and they have so many delicious dressings to choose from- the Avocado Dressing is my personal fav. I always get a big bowl of salad on a Sunday night or when I feel like I need a cleanse. For a pretty large salad, 5+ toppings, and no meat you will spend around 12$. Not too shabby! read more
