Came in tonight and hour before close for drinks and desert. A quick low impact table. Two 18 dollar drinks later we're told we can't get anything without a main course? My girlfriend and I took a trip to Zion for a short vacation to get away from Los Angeles. We were on our way back to air bnb after spending the day at Bryce Canyon and this was one of the only places still open. We did not have high expectations coming here and were extremely surprised to be welcomed with very friendly staff and a large menu. My girlfriend got their birria tacos and they were so good that we still talk about them. We are surrounded by some of the best Mexican food in LA so we were extremely surprised to have had the best birria tacos we've ever had in hurricane Utah! Do not order Queso dip, it's like soup now our last three orders were terrible even after complaining. our visit yesterday Jose the manager had a major attitude. The waiter brought us a sample of Queso Dip. it was thick and delicious, so we ordered 2 dips. upon arrival they were soupy . again they said it was the new chef. if the chef can give us a sample that was delicious. why wa not the same product in our bowls? More of a 3.5* review than a four but the place is definitely worth a try....small nondescript restaurant located in a strip mall of Hurricane, Utah. Seemed to be clean and large enough for about twenty tables and booths combined. Rather busy on the night that we went, possibly because it was later in evening and a lot of other places were closed...glad we stumbled upon it though as the food was very good as were the prices...complimentary chips and salsa were a nice start and the margaritas (Cadillac) were large and tasty...the tamale and enchilada combo was very good and filling, the beans were tasty as well, the rice was a tad dry but after adding some of the salsa it was very good. There appeared to be one server, Jose', one or two busser's, and the cook, that was it, and, with the large crowd in restaurant that continually flowed in and out they did an excellent job of accommodating...would definitely consider returning if in the Zion area again, RECOMMEND read more

First off, both of these margs were 12 dollars a piece and if I would have ordered this anywhere else you are looking at 18-20z they were divine! As soon as we sat down we not only got the typical chips and salsa but we also got salsa verde and refried beans. Completely free and unlimited refills. I got the queso Bria tacos (I know I spelled that wrong) and my wife got a chimichanga. Mine came out on a literal baking tray. And hers was a party plate. I'm sure I totally destroyed the spelling and pronunciation but it was like a Bloody Mary with a corona. So good after hiking La Verkin in the morning. Ii ordered a meal that said it has skirt steak in it. The meat was not skirt steak. It was fatty, bristle meat, tough and I can see the main vein or artery tubes in the meat that I had to cut away with a served butter knife. I found it odd my meal was served on a dinner service tray and not a plate. The flavor was not the best but not the worst. The corona and mangonada was good, Wife had some tacos that were better with pork adobada. At the end of the day.
