I ordered two tilapias thinking will be a delicious dish I asked for garlic butter (mojo de ajo) prep before they were cook but they wanted me to charge $10 extra so I denied paying this amount I think this is ridiculous for this extra step when I got them they were not good not enough salt they not even clean them right the still got the fish gills. This restaurant need to improve in customer satisfaction I paid $46 before tax for something that was not flavorful!!! read more

Honestly love this place. It's a pretty simple restaurant but the food is alway delicious and the service is great. The molcajete bowl (not sure if that's spelled correctly) is super good. Can share between 2-3 people. read more

little gem tucked away in zion! we really liked this place and were very surprised with the price + portion of the plates here! guacamole was super fresh and def one of the bestest!!!!! good services as well from the staff and we appreciated their friendliness! the quesadilla, ceviche and mocajete we ordered were all pretty decent and super sized! the only things i don't like were the sauce had in ceviche - i felt like it was a bit too much and would be better if they used less. mojacete can get a little too sweet as it gets older. read more

I was honestly quite surprised to find authentic Mexican food out here in Utah. I saw the photos posted here on Yelp and knew my partner & I had to try this place. We were not disappointed. Viviana, our server, was delightful; she was speedy & kind. The dishes LOOK expensive on the menu but the portions are massive and the quality (& temperature!) of the food was perfect -- I haven't had real Mexican food like this in years. I chose the Tacos Al Pastor (hard to go wrong there) and my partner ordered the Mexican Trio. We were both entirely satisfied by our plates, and the Coconut Flan we ordered for dessert was great too. The place was not overly crowded; the tables weren't too close together, keeping the diner spacious. We don't live here, so the likelihood of us ever returning is slim, but regardless, this little unassuming restaurant is a gem. read more

We went here for dinner since we're vacationing here in Utah. The food was BOM! They give you nachos with salsas and the frijole dip is so yummy. The color looked suspicious but it was so good, my mom said it may have chorizo, so it's not vegan. The waiters were so kind and friendly. They made us feel welcomed and like we belonged. I wish I could've just given them a big tip and hug! But my dad gave them a tip. The setting is calm but radiating with happiness. I appreciate their hard work and patience even when it's almost closing time. Be kind to your waiters. I would like to come back if we travel here again. read more

This place is a gem. Ordered classic margaritas with low expectations and they were great and came dressed with a floated dehydrated orange slice and a fresh flower, which was such a lovely touch. We ordered the enchiladas ranchero and the enchiladas rio bravo and both were so flavorful and delicious. Our server was attentive and kind. I like hot salsa and theirs was not spicy by any means but still tasty. A great meal and I would highly recommend! read more

The food was served fast and fresh. HUGE portions. Clean and attentive service. We ordered the Vallerta Fajita plate which was enough to split between two people. Kids got combos of cheese enchiladas and the other a combo of Tamale, chicken enchilada, and a tamale. Really really good flavor. The habanero salsa was fire, great flavor!!! read more

Lucked upon this place and boy did we ever enjoy the food. The wait staff were p so friendly and the quality of the food excellent. I had two chile rellanos with rice and beans and my wife had chicken enchiladas with rice and beans and both were excellent. They brought us tons of chips and four different dipping sauces and the total bill with a generous tip was around $42. If you find yourself in hurricane Utah, this is the place to go for wonderful Mexican food. read more

I ordered Pazole for a friend. When she opened it up it literally had 1 piece of meat, and hardly any hominy in the dish. The rest was bone and cartilage including a pig snout. The broth was very tasty that is the only good thing that she said about this dish. Very disappointed for $17. I can say I personally will never eat here. I wonder if it was eaten at the restaurant if it would have been more plentiful. The server was very kind and accommodating. read more

The service was fast and friendly, but the food was AMAZING! This definitely feels like home-cooked Mexican food with lots of love, flavor, and a healthy amount of cheese sprinkled where it can be. The restaurant is small and clean, but again, every single thing on my plate and my wife's plate was a hit! A prime example of what fast, cheap, good Mexican food should be. 10/10 read more

Food was yummy, service was attentive, ambiance was so so, too bright and too cold. Their salsa was homemade and they should bottle it!

My girlfriend and I took a trip to Zion for a short vacation to get away from Los Angeles. We were on our way back to air bnb after spending the day at Bryce Canyon and this was one of the only places still open. We did not have high expectations coming here and were extremely surprised to be welcomed with very friendly staff and a large menu. My girlfriend got their birria tacos and they were so good that we still talk about them. We are surrounded by some of the best Mexican food in LA so we were extremely surprised to have had the best birria tacos we've ever had in hurricane Utah! We will definitely be back the next time we come back to the area! read more

This was by far one of the worst places I've ever visited. The manager made me pay for food I couldn't even eat because it tasted terrible, as if it had just been sitting out. Everything was overpriced and definitely not worth the money--I spent so much and barely managed two bites of each item. It was truly disappointing and disgusting. If I could give no stars I would read more

We stopped in for lunch while vacationing in the area. Nice place in a strip mall. Server was very attentive and funny. Plenty of food for the money. Food was delicious. Chips & 3 kinds of salsa as soon as we were seated. We'll go back if we are in the area again. read more

Came in tonight and hour before close for drinks and desert. A quick low impact table. Two 18 dollar drinks later we're told we can't get anything without a main course? Why not say that or have it posteded anywhere. And then to refuse any service after is completely inhospitable. What a rude and terrible experience. read more

The food lacked flavors. They were so cheap on the meat. And lastly there was a hair in my rice.

More of a 3.5* review than a four but the place is definitely worth a try....small nondescript restaurant located in a strip mall of Hurricane, Utah. Seemed to be clean and large enough for about twenty tables and booths combined. Rather busy on the night that we went, possibly because it was later in evening and a lot of other places were closed...glad we stumbled upon it though as the food was very good as were the prices...complimentary chips and salsa were a nice start and the margaritas (Cadillac) were large and tasty...the tamale and enchilada combo was very good and filling, the beans were tasty as well, the rice was a tad dry but after adding some of the salsa it was very good. There appeared to be one server, Jose', one or two busser's, and the cook, that was it, and, with the large crowd in restaurant that continually flowed in and out they did an excellent job of accommodating...would definitely consider returning if in the Zion area again, RECOMMEND read more

Being someone who was born and raised in California, and whose family owned a taqueria! I can honestly say wow! Was out here visiting Zion national park and had a hotel by this place! Excellent food but they have a new chef now and some things have changed. Do not order Queso dip, it's like soup now our last three orders were terrible even after complaining. our visit yesterday Jose the manager had a major attitude. The waiter brought us a sample of Queso Dip. it was thick and delicious, so we ordered 2 dips. upon arrival they were soupy . again they said it was the new chef. if the chef can give us a sample that was delicious. why wa not the same product in our bowls? Jose got pissed off at us and grabbed are plates off of table with force. We brought a lot of business to this establishment, but we will never go again ! BTW ... they will not serve water to you with your chips! They wait for the waiter to serve water and it's a problem because they take awhile to take your order. we always if to ask for water! very disappointed with thier service. attitude and not listening to thier customers! read more

There are quite a few Mexican restaurants in town. Many are either touristy and super expensive, don't serve margaritas or the food just looks blah. I wanted a fat margarita and a plate of food that would make me go into a coma and I cannot tell you enough that this meal was one of the top 5 meals I have ever had. First off, both of these margs were 12 dollars a piece and if I would have ordered this anywhere else you are looking at 18-20z they were divine! As soon as we sat down we not only got the typical chips and salsa but we also got salsa verde and refried beans. Completely free and unlimited refills. I got the queso Bria tacos (I know I spelled that wrong) and my wife got a chimichanga. Mine came out on a literal baking tray. And hers was a party plate. Not only the size of the food but the taste was beyond compare. I took a bite and went silent. It was heaven on earth. Also, even though it is located in a strip mall, the vibes inside were great and everyone was so nice! Next time your partner says they want Mexican or I margarita. Take them here!!!! read more

Food was terrible. Don't waste your time. I couldn't finish what I'd ordered. I had to send it back 3x and then I gave up. Like, who puts a salad on an intensely hot plate? Waiter could not help. Did not speak English. To top it off, I was sick with food poisoning the next day. read more

What a great find. The best authentic Mexican food in hurricane Ut. The staff was extremely polite and super friendly. I had a mechada. I'm sure I totally destroyed the spelling and pronunciation but it was like a Bloody Mary with a corona. So good after hiking La Verkin in the morning. I had the seafood ceviche and the steak fajitas. Bit dishes were awesome. I'll be back for the chili relleno the guy next to me got it and said it's the best around.
