Ii ordered a meal that said it has skirt steak in it. The meat was not skirt steak. It was fatty, bristle meat, tough and I can see the main vein or artery tubes in the meat that I had to cut away with a served butter knife. I found it odd my meal was served on a dinner service tray and not a plate. The flavor was not the best but not the worst. The corona and mangonada was good, Wife had some tacos that were better with pork adobada. At the end of the day. This is OK for the area it is in but it is not Mexico or Los Angeles flavors of authentic foods but still better than other mexican places in the area. i would come back one more time to hope it changes my mind. read more

If I could give a zero star I would. This place is absolutely horrible!!!! You can easily tell everything is frozen and recooked, the okayed are INSANELY huge for your portion. I got 2 enchiladas and the plate was bigger than my stove top, which is a sign of bad quality. Over all this place is crazy expensive all frozen food & recooked to order. First... the people giving this place low scores are either a). judging the book by the cover, or b). they are accustomed to bland Americanized 'Mexican' food. I was so surprised!!! It's in a strip mall, and the dining area is not fancy. But the FOOD!! Wow! This is now the best Mexican food in Southern Utah! Sincerely. I'm a mole sauce fanatic... and this the best mole I have ever had, and served with perfectly fried plantains. Everyone in our group commented on their meal being one of the best Mexican dishes they've ever had. The carne asada is also phenomenal! Authentic... and packed full of amazing flavor. The queso dip was sweet and cold and just not good. The chips tasted stale. Ordered tacos with ground beef, the ground beef was horrible. My husband who eats anything couldn't even eat it. Probably the worst Mexican food I've ever had. Our server was nice. read more

If you're rolling through Hurricane on your way to Zion, Powell, or any of the other natural wonders in this state, check this place out. We got all the wrong food, we ordered a plate that had shrimp, grilled chicken fajita nachos and one flaunta and when it came out without the chicken we were told they decided it was too much meat so they don't add the chicken anymore but REFUSED to alter the price we had to ask for chips and salsa, we had to ask for sour cream 4 times, my moms food we finally had to get it to go as it had taken them so long to make it! We had a horrible experience with the staff topped off with overpriced, over cooked garbage they are trying to pass off as food. One of the dishes we ordered was supposed to have shrimp, crab, octopus and muscles. It was 90% frozen Normandy vegetable mix 4 shrimp, 4 muscle shells but no meat and none of the other seafood that was supposed to be included . They tried to charge me for two $15 drinks when I only had one. When we asked to speak to the owner we were told to F-off and eat in Mazatlan. Stopped here on a whim. It was delicious. We had the Al Pastor Tacos and they were both beautiful looking and delicious. Their warm chips came with beans and two different salsas. The service was nice and prompt without feeling like they were rushing us. We will be back! read more

Stopped in with my family while visiting the area. The service was great. The staff were very friendly. Their chips and salsa were good. The table side guacamole was really good!! The queso was not good though. We didn't eat it (and my family loves queso). The menu says chili con queso, but they brought out melted plain white cheese. It was blan and very thin. It was dripping all over the table off of our chips. The carne asada quesadilla had good flavor but was soooo thin. Barely any meat or cheese. Super skimpy. It was a super busy night but we still got seated right away. Both the food and the service was great. Staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The folks inside were certainly nice enough and it's hard to write a review that is not glowing, but the food was not that "authentic" and lacked real authentic flavor. I ordered a chili verde burrito and there might gave been 5 pieces of pork in it, but plenty of rice, beans and uncooked onion, it was huge. The help seemed more interested in what was on the television than being attentive. My son's margarita was tasteless. I would give 2.5 stars. read more

Hurricane doesn't really lack for Mexican restaurants, but this place is special. The food was delicious and the service was great. My husband and I both ordered fajitas and thought they were some of the best we've had. It might not look like much from the outside (it is tucked away in a strip mall), but it is worth a visit. read more

I'll start off by saying, I have never been to Mazatlan Mexico. I will assume the dishes served here are authentic Mazatlan dishes. My go to order at a New Mexican restaurant is Molé which is my way of testing the quality of the restaurant. I ordered the mole poblano. Have been there to eat a couple times. There is one area they need improvement on. The enchilada sauce for burritos and enchiladas is not like traditional red enchilada sauce.. it is very bland. It is bad like they opened a jug of regular tomato juice and used that. I hope they take this review seriously and improve. Other items like seafood and tacos are good. read more

The restaurant has been cleaned up substantially since it was Chinese so wasn't afraid to eat there. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food presentation was nice but the food was rather cold. The food needs more spices, salt etc. Very bland and not even enough cheese. Meat quality was excellent in Chile Verde but no head and no flavor. chicken tacos were luke warm and OK i ate one and a half. the sauces were not good. i think there was cheese on the tacos also but couldn't really tell. the tortillas were hard or chewy. my sons french fries weren't cooked through they were soggy and cold. my others sons nachos had cheese on about 1/3 of the nachos and not melted through. read more
