These guys are doing it right. Exactly what you hope for in a local business…read more I found DC through a Facebook group when I asked for computer repair rec's. Checked out their website, then gave them a call about cleaning up my Mac before my vacation. I put it off to the last minute and wasn't sure they could help. Luckily, they could help me, and the rush fee was $100. I love that fact they picked up the phone and it wasn't some dead doornail employee who could care less about my computer issue. Chris, the owner, actually answered the phone. He said to bring it down. I came in that same day and he told me they would: clean it up, install new OS, remove junk, and speed it up overall. He quoted me end of the week, but it was ready sooner, so happy about because it would be ready for vacation. Total came out to about $430 with the rush fee. It's been about 6 weeks now and my computer is running amazing, so fast! They also have refurbished Macs for sale, which I'll be back for when my current computer stops working. Super 5 Stars for DC Computers! They care about their business and customers. So glad I found them.

I haven't had any such problems with Laptops Plus, aka Tech2U. Just as in the old days, when Laptops Plus was a couple of guys working on machines in the tiny Clairemont strip that also hides The Godfather Restaurant, Laptop Plus' service is prompt, attentive, personal, professional and expert. Plus, the prices are fair and explained properly, up front. I can't imagine what more a person would want from a tech support service.

I am one of "those" people. From the moment that I walked into new Age Computers and met Weston, I just knew that I had come to the right place. Following 2 days of struggling, hour after hour, to dig into the problem I was having, all I had to show for it was a deeper hole!! I came over to his shop, gave him an overview of my problem and left; he called me the next morning to tell me all was well and to come in and pick it up. He charged far less than I expected and it has worked flawlessly for the last 4-5 weeks since I got it back. Given my record of crashing computers, I least I now know where to go the next time and won't waste my time attempting to 'do kit myself!!

I highly recommend On-Site Techs for any of your computer service needs…read more I needed to transfer data from my old laptop to a new laptop so that I could function at work without down time. I searched online for Tech Support in San Diego and then contacted several firms. Some were not responding to voice mail messages and, when we eventually spoke, had high rates and long lead times before a tech could be sent to my office. John Airy of On-Site Techs returned my call almost immediately, has reasonable rates and could see me the next day. Once John assessed the time for transfer of data from computer to computer, he recommended saving time by taking the two laptops to his location to complete the data transfer. He then was willing to return on a holiday to adjust the views on the new computer to my familiarity so that I could function for the next work day. John is extremely knowledgeable, proficient and efficient. He communicated well to explain how views could be adjusted and he made good suggestions without tying to upsell programs. He has an excellent professional manner. I intend to retain the services of On-Site Techs as my local source for any of my computer issues. John is simply outstanding for his business performances.

Rather than upselling me on a brand-new and pricey rebuild, Shannon cloned all of my data over from my current hard drive, put it on a new hard drive, and upgraded me to Windows 11. And through sheer determination, Shannon also fixed my reboot time -- it went from 2.5 hours down to under a minute.
