Prices have gone up about $2 in each category

Really good Thai food, kinda funky that it is inside a donut shop! This place is close to my house and is a great option for a quick and affordable lunch. I went about a year or 2 ago when the base prices were $6.95 (SUPER cheap, loved that). Now the price is $8.95 or more (depending on what protein you choose) which is more of the normal pricing for Thai food in the Eugene/Springfield area. We love their pad see ew, pineapple curry, pad thai, and Bangkok noodles. I like how clean the restaurant is and they bring your food out to your table. After sitting there during our meal, I was starting to crave a donut! Try it out, you won't be disappointed.

Stopped here this morning after a sunrise hike. I just wanted to treat myself. Super delicious Boston Creme! Fresh, not too sweet and plenty of custard. I loved how clean and simple their shop was. Couldn't believe I was the only one there at the time. I'll have to try their Thai food next time I'm shopping near by. There have been times I've looked for a quick bite around there but didn't know they had savory options too.

This is a small hole in the wall but has some of the best Thai food in the Springfield area. My favorite is the yellow curry and it never disappoints! They are only open for lunch and have limited seating. However they make it all work and the food is well worth it. Not to mention it is not expensive at all. They do also provide carry out and call ahead order. This is one of my staple locations for lunch in Springfield. Make sure to try it out if you are nearby.

Chocolate-glazed old fashioned and Bavarian cream donuts - The image shows a white plate with two donuts placed side by side. The donut on the left has a chocolate glaze with a textured, bumpy surface, possibly with nuts or toppings underneath. The donut on the right has a smooth, shiny chocolate coating on top, with visible cracks. The donuts are set on a dark, textured surface, likely a table or countertop.

I made my first visit to Master Donuts today after seeing lots of folks rave about it in local Facebook groups. The selection is moderately sized: a few cake donuts and quite a few yeast donuts, plus fritters and cinnamon rolls. I opted for my go-to donuts: a chocolate-glazed old fashioned and a Bavarian cream. (Yes, I got two donuts and ate both for lunch.) The old fashioned was not something I'd get again. It was thinner than I prefer and fried harder than I like. A few spots crunched. The chocolate glaze was nice, though! The Bavarian was tastier, in my opinion. The yeast donut was soft and there was plenty of filling. The filling and glaze were good. I'll definitely consider this place for donuts in the future, but I'll probably stick to the yeast variety!

Lots of options. Friendly attendant once engaged. Delicious. Donuts AND Thai ... Why are there no talks of a Nobel Peace prize?

Clean shop and great donuts, what else can anyone ask for? 2 dozen donuts for a client and they went quick.

I'm not an avid donut lover. Donuts are a snack I always regret eating, the calories and aftertaste…read more6 hours later. My sister showed me around Eugene, Oregon and recommended Voodoo Doughnuts. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly. The classic donut smell hits as soon as you open the door. The inside is quirky and definitely themed! The shop has lots of pink and black colors. There were lots of donuts to choose from, monthly flavors, classics, and quirky ones. I got the Raspberry Romeo donut. The raspberry jelly was good, not very sweet or overly sticky. The consistency of the jelly was good. I wish the donut had more jelly. I always have to eat more than half the donut to get any jelly. The donut was airier than I expected. The taste of the donut was good, lighter than some brands.

Thankfully, we did not experience the line at all. SELECTION: 10/10 TASTE: 7/10 SERVICE: 9/10 AMBIANCE: 8/10 What I ordered: Banana Creme Donut SELECTION: 10/10 They have everything...quirky specialty doughnuts, classics, vegan options, filled, frosted, sprinkled, chocolate, cereal-topped, you name it. The menu genuinely feels like a fever dream (in a fun way), and it makes choosing very indecisive. TASTE: 7/10 The donuts are definitely on the sweeter side. I was expecting that first bite to have a big wow factor, but it didn't quite hit the way I thought it would. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't the best donut I've ever had. I could taste the banana and the cinnamon, but overall it was just okay. It also didn't taste as fresh as I hoped. SERVICE: 9/10 Staff were chill and quick. They didn't rush me while I was deciding (which took a minute), and they boxed the donut fairly neatly. AMBIANCE: 8/10 With the classic Voodoo Doughnut signature look, everything was mostly pink and tucked inside a brick building. I loved the Voodoo Doughnut cutout for photos, which was super fun and very on-brand. My favorite part was the spinning cylinder shelf filled with all the uniquely designed donuts. The inside is small, but it's packed with personality.

We got three banana fritters, a Boston crème, a plain cake, a glazed raised, a German chocolate, a raspberry chocolate, and a double chocolate cake. They were all amazing! This place really does know their donuts. They aren't oily or greasy at all. The lady who helped us worked quickly and was friendly. The store was about what you'd expect from a mom and pop hole in the wall - it wasn't super clean but it was fine since we were taking our donuts home anyway. They're open 24/7 but are located in a really shifty and unsafe area so I wouldn't recommend going at night. It felt fine going in the early afternoon though. All in all this was a great experience. I will definitely be back!

At 6 AM, the world is quiet, the streets are hushed, and one hopes--perhaps naïvely--that a warm pastry might offer a moment of comfort before the day's demands begin. Alas, my visit to Day Night Donuts proved instead a meditation on disappointment. The apple fritter, that noble staple of American morning indulgence, was presented to me not as a freshly glazed, still-steaming companion, but as a cold, listless relic. Not chilled by morning air, mind you--refrigerator cold. A confection that should have greeted me with warmth and softness instead yielded the disheartening bite of a pastry that felt, if not abandoned, then at least neglected. One is forced to wonder: Was this yesterday's fritter? The day before? The mystery lingers longer than the flavor. As for the "sandwich"--a Jimmy Dean croissant, unmistakably the frozen variety from Costco, accompanied by equally familiar pre-cooked Costco bacon--it delivered all the culinary excitement of an office break-room microwave. The croissant was serviceable in the way mass-produced goods often are: efficient, characterless, and unmistakably prefab. The bacon, however, was the true antagonist of the meal--rubbery, resistant, and determined to fight every bite. A duel between teeth and pork fat at sunrise is not an experience I recommend. It must be said: there is nothing inherently wrong with using Costco products. But one hopes--expects--desires--a donut shop to rise above the bare minimum. A place that opens at 6 AM should greet its patrons with warmth, both literal and figurative. Fresh pastries. Crisp bacon. Some sign of intention. Instead, my visit felt like intruding upon a place not yet awake, not yet ready, and perhaps not entirely concerned.
