Best doughnuts I've found on a consistent basis. I had a latte with my pastries and it was well made. Love this place.

We stopped into this spot this morning to satisfy a sweet craving and it did not disappoint. They have a great selection of classic donuts. We got a chocolate bar, chocolate old fashioned, apple Fritter and a dozen donut holes. Everything was fresh and tasted great. We really liked that nothing was too sweet, like some donut spots make things. They do sell out of specialty things (like we watched the apple Fritters dissappear while we were there). And they only offer Cruellers on the weekends. The staff was friendly and efficient. They did a great job of managing the folks inside as well as in the drive thru. There is a decent sized parking lot - just use caution getting out onto Mohawk - traffic moves quickly there. There are a few spots to sit inside. They offer coffee and Espresso drinks as well as. This is the most underrated donut shop in Eugene and Springfield. Look, it's not super fancy, it's not that original, and the coffee is ho hum. But their donuts are so "okay" that it makes them kind of amazing They are standard donuts, but compared to all the other shops they are lighter , fluffier, tastier and just better. If you love the yeasty and fluffy types of doughnuts (original glazed), then this is your place! Their doughnuts taste super fresh and are so satisfying. I've been to their other location in Springfield and the doughnuts at this location are fresher and tastier in my opinion. In all of Eugene/Springfield, I would say their original glazed doughnuts are the tastiest to me. Too bad they're a bit far from where I live, but it's probably a good thing! They have such great donuts. But all the chocolate frosting on all the donuts was watered down. It was very thin on the doughnut and very thin tasting. Only half the taste of regular chocolate. It had been a while since I have been to this location. I forgot they have a drive up. Master Donut is the only place that can make a great maple bar in my opinion. I don't eat them very often, but when I do I will have one from Master Donut. We stopped here on a weekend to get a maple bar. I think it would be even cooler if both locations had the Thai food in them. I would probably stop in this location more. This is our favorite donut store, as my nephews Collett. We have been going here for over a decade it's very close to our house but even if it wasn't we would travel as far as we need it to. We love donuts and we tried the donuts all over Eugene in Springfield and this is the place we keep coming back to you. The bear claws are my husband's favorite. Although the donuts are 5 star, the service is one star. Been getting donuts at Master Donuts for workplace for about 20 years. Donuts consistently awesome but service is horrible. Thinking the rudeness of employees is passed down from owners attitudes since this has been a consistent problem. You would think the owners would correct this issue. Guess what servers? Just got our normal order of twists, apple fritters and Bavarian cream. When we opened the box at home, we noticed right away that the glaze was different. It's a lot shinier than it used to be. It doesn't flake like it used to and now it sticks in your teeth, and it doesn't taste good at all. I'm not sure why they changed the glaze, but we'll be looking for a new donut place now because we threw almost all those donuts out. I'd give master donuts a five star review in the past but not if this is the new normal. read more

My family and I have been customers of Master Donuts on Mohawk since it first opened. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!?! The staff is rude (complaining to each other about a drive through customer in front of other customers), the place smelled like something was burning, and the donuts are abysmal. They sold me burnt donuts and when I got home I realized they shorted me one in the dozen. Absolutely ridiculous! Seriously, I wouldn't advise this normally, but if you are considering purchasing donuts here stop, go to a gas station that has donuts in a case that have been sitting for 12 hours and buy them there. Tired of children working in an establishment that don't understand the meaning of customer service even more so during a pandemic. Donuts are great but service is horrible! They take advantage every time we come not getting the order right whether it's the drive thru or walking in. My first selection was donut holes and two chocolate crawlers because they are only available on weekend after 8am and they we're missing so we spent $10 on 6 donuts when we ordered 9 including the donut holes. Not even one minute away from the store we call to let them know they tell us to come back but we get there within another minute we live right across the street and she literally had the audacity to tell us rudely we didn't order that but she was the one to help the Latina girl. She's a complete ass-hat and refused to assist with two donuts. We no longer will be coming here. The parents really should be watching what these kids are doing because that is all they are children stealing money.
