This is simply the best Marshall's that I've ever been to! I've even been to Marshall's locations on the East Coast so I know what I'm talking about! They always have the best clothing and shoe selection. They even carry my shoe size, which shall remain a secret! That is a miracle in itself! Uggs, Dr. Martens, and super sleek heels can be found in various styles and sizes. I don't wear heels but they look gorgeous on women who are coordinated ;-). Anyway, they had a large selection of North Face and Columbia jackets today. I have yet to see these brands at other Marshall's locations. It's not uncommon to find some of the nicest dresses hidden within their selection. I don't spend a lot of money here because I come here with an agenda. I know what I want and I know how much money I am willing to spend. It looks like I'll be back at this location in November to finish up my Christmas shopping! read more

I went shopping to marshals and I noticed that people that work in the cashier they have to ask clients if they want to apply for a credit card sometimes they don't want credit cards but the supervisors they get mad at workers or they fired them if they're clients don't get credit card read more

Very clean and lots of variety for a Marshall's. The discount stores around my area (Glendale) are disgusting and so freaking messy. People just walk through you as if you're not standing there, but this place is nice and quiet. There are shoppers, but everyone still has manners, lol. This is my favorite place to hunt for discounted goods. This location is by far, one of the best in the area for designer shoes, clothes, decent workout clothes, dog toys, kitchenware and even furniture. Parking has never been an issue for me. Employees are pleasant enough. read more

Great bags, great shoes, great bed and bath...hit or miss on the clothing, but good styles for guys and gals. Furniture is way overpriced and not well built, but by high end names. Usually doesn't sit square, drawers are not solid, hollow pieces, broken handles and drawers...keep receipt and check everything! Too bad cuz the furniture is great! Went shopping for myself and my two daughters. Purchased five hundred plus worth of items, found some good deals on high end items. Went to return three items, that did not fit the following day. According to the salesperson, the ticket on one of the items was questionable. They could not find a similar item, so called in the floor manager. She said she would need to check the security cameras!!! Really!!! I spend major money to return three items totaling 98 dollars, and I am trying to scam your store. Was humiliated in public, for there obvious mistake!! Somebody had tagged a Micheal Kors when it was a Trina Turk blouse!! Saleslady called it a Tina Turner top. Am waiting on there findings on the security camera!! May need to call my lawyer!! Go elsewhere, not worth the incompetent staff!!!!! read more

I usually don't write reviews, but today I just cannot keep myself from writing one. I want to share a very very bad experience at the Pasadena store with the woman whose name is Chritina F.,so called Store Manager here . I bought a bag a few months ago and wanted to return it. I went into the store with THE ORIGINAL TAG AND THE RECEIPT of the item, but was told I could not return it because the bag and the tag and reciept do not match! That was the only bag I bought, along with other small items. The store policy clearly states that return with original tag and receipt and get store credit! Yet, this very rude woman Store Manager would not honor the return, or gave me any store credit, and kept telling me that was not the RIGHT bag . She refused to consider that the store clerks might have put on the wrong tag when they sold the bag, and insited THAT WAS MY PROBLEM THAT I DIDN'T CHECK. How in the world would the customer know the price tag doesn't match the bag when making a purchase?????? THAT IS YOUR JOB! I AM PAYING MONEY TO SHOP HERE, NOT WORKING AT YOUR STORE! To make a long story short, when she could not helped me, I asked for the corporate office address, she REFUSED to give it to me. I asked for the Regional Manager's name, she again refused. I asked to speak to someone above her, she said that person ONLY WORK UNTIL 3PM and refused to tell me who that person was. Seriously??? Someone so rude and with bad customer service like that can be a store manager at Marshalls??? People, please take it from my horrible experience. This store has very bad customer service, the manager treats customer like a criminal, and totally rude to the bone. I wish I had read some of the bad reviews before I entered this store. Never ever that I would purchase from this store again!!! Marshalls, if you care about customers, please do something about the bad customer service. This is the first time ever I am writing a yelp review because I could not be more angry at Marshall's in Pasadena. I would give it no stars if i could. I brought a few dresses I had originally purchased at Marshall's in Rowland Heights to return and since it was over $100 Anita (the lady who was helping me) had to get an approval from her manager. I returned them with a receipt and tags attached in original condition but M, the manager, checked them as if they were worn or stolen. She later asked me in a condescending tone why I chose to return them in Pasadena location when I purchased them in Rowland Heights. Lady, first of all that's not how you talk to a loyal customer, second of all I don't see it on the receipt that I can not return merchandise anywhere else except the original location. Did you even think about maybe because your store doesn't carry anything good so I had to drive all the way to Rowland Heights when I live in Arcadia?! That's totally not acceptable and I read the other reviews and there were many negative reviews about your store manager. Marshall's Pasadena you need to talk to your store manager M before she pisses off more customers. Not coming back to this location!!!! Feel free to go there if you like to be treated like a criminal!!! I also want to see if Marshall's corporation give a care of what their customers think about their customer service. If I could give a negative star I would. I brought my 3 year old son here to pick a toy after a long day of him sitting in a stroller. He was so excited! So with amazing luck we found a train table complete with trains and storage. My son was shaking he was so excited. To say the least it was a huge box because it was a TABLE!!! I ran to the the front to ask for assistants. Mean while someone else, who I know knew , that I had my eye on this table( as we shared eye contact in passing in the toy section) grab it up and took it to the register. I kindly approached her and brought it to her attention that I was already purchasing the table and that my son was very excited about it. She continued to ignore the situation and continue with her purchase of the table. My son was in tears crying more like sobbing and this woman didn't have a care in the world. I explained the situation to the lady again while my son was trying to lay on the box crying, and her argument was that she had it now. The employees and manager were aware of my interest in the train and the situation and did nothing. I'm so upset with how rude people could be and have such lack of class and care for children. And I'm so upset that the manager did not handle this matter accordingly. This woman and manager stole from a toddler. Pathetic and I had a toddler balling in tears for a few hours. Shame one that awful shopper and the store manager. I never will shop here and again and I assure you corporate will be hearing from me until I feel proper attention is brought to this matter. I'd also like to add the manager offered me a 10% discount on another toy:/ She offered to call other stores to see if they had he train table. I feel as though all this was offered to shut the crying toddler up and blanket the lack of attention that was not addressed in this matter. She should have offered this to the other woman who was keen on taking from little boys. That woman was a shark and the manager had the lack of assertiveness to correct this situation. I walked into this store on a Monday night after work to return two pairs of throw pillows. This may have been my first return ever. Not thinking much of it, I walked up to the register after being called and awaited awkwardly since the previous customer was still putting her money/card away. When I finally reached the cashier, I placed the items on the counter with receipt and kindly asked for a return. Without a word (a hello or otherwise) the cashier turned to her computer to process my request. While I was searching for my card to insert, I heard her mumble to a nearby coworker what sounded like, 'these pillows are trash we can't sell them.' Confused, offended... Surely I must have misheard. After she handed me the receipt, I asked for clarification as to what was the matter with the items I'd returned and the cashier confirmed yet again, 'they are TRASH.' She explained herself by stating they were clearance items that shouldn't have been sold in the first place. Rude, to say the least. I was embarrassed for her as she lacked not only simple customer skills to withhold such a nasty remark, at least until after I left, but to be this kind of example to her coworker. This is unacceptable at every level. I had planned on making another purchase that evening, but considering my experience, I quickly chose to leave. No one should ever feel this way, at a retail store or otherwise! read more

I came in today to make a few returns with this lady that we were helping to find the metro and get home safely. The returns were not in the most perfect condition because she had taken the tags off but besides that the few bottles of lotion, wallet and eye glasses were intact, good enough to approve the return. I would know because I work at one of their sister stores. The manager was so rude, they did take a long time but that store is always busy so it is understandable. I wish I knew that lady's name because she didn't want to take the time out of her job to look for a tag for the wallet OR look at the receipt and search up the handbag item. It is not that difficult when you know the department numbers. Instead she said they couldn't return it but when my friend suggested she look out in the store for the exact item or look on the receipt she unpleasantly told the other associate to irl on the receipt. It was clear they were just trying to finish us up and not do their job properly. Never going back to return something there ever again. Management needs an update if they can't even bother to do their job the way they are supposed to. read more

The marshalls manager here is horrible. I had bought a bra with two price tags on them. I obviously knew that I was charged the wrong price for them. I had told the employee and the employee actually pulled the tag out by accident and had called the manager thinking I was doing some kind of con when she herself tookout the tag. I told the manager she cut the tag but the employee was all like I didn't cut the tag it just easily came out. Long story short the manager was very rude about it and treated me like I was pulling some kind of ghetto con. Anyway she said they had to review the cameras and I asked her to review the cameras right now since I wasn't lying and just wanted my money back. She said they weren't able to do that. I had to wait till the next day to get my refund back. It was completely not my fault and troubled me the next day. She didn't apologize to me or anything. I will never go to this marshalls again because of this horrible manager and one employee. read more
