I also looked around and got a few quotes from other shops just to see if the price was fair, and Williams Automotive ended up being the best price by far. They also let me know my transmission fluid was really dark, which honestly wasn't surprising since I had never changed it. I came back for that service and an oil change, and once again everything was done quickly and for a really good price. Everyone I've dealt with there has been friendly and helpful. The lady in the office is also super nice, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, I'm really happy with the service, price, turnaround time, and customer service. I usually take my cars to bigger chain shops, but after coming here, I'd much rather keep bringing them to Williams Automotive.

I was hoping to drop my van off to get it fixed and Uber to Universal. In LA I called a few shops and got a few different estimates. Over the phone I was quoted $600.00 and the person on the phone didn't even ask what kind of vehicle I had. When I called AAA they sent me to Fisher/Martin automotive which was 1 hour and 15 minutes from where I was. I was so upset I didn't understand why I had to go so far for a repair. THEN I met Jeff and Gary. They looked at my van quickly and had an estimate of a fraction of the cost of what I was quoted everywhere else. I went to lunch and came back and it was ready to go again. His car needed a smog check. Here's the kicker, I gave my son my old vehicle and this car went through war and back. Both my children learned to drive in the Toyota and the vehicle survived two teenage boys. Daily Long commutes out of county, some long road trips and over 200 thousands miles. 2 years ago the owner at Quality Auto Work, worked on the Toyota and the Toyota passed smog. At that time the mechanic guaranteed his work and took the car to a smog shop and it passed. Here we are 2 years later, the Toyota is still running, with little maintenance and over 300 thousand miles later, until my son decided he was too busy for an oil change and never checked the water. Now the Toyota needed more than maintenance for a smog, now my son's looking at major repairs. Last week, My son drove the Toyota into Quality Auto Works, long story longer, the mechanic told him he would work on the Toyota. Well the owner, called my son and told him to save his money because he's going to need another vehicle. He told my son it was time to say goodbye to the Toyota. The owner didn't charge him for his work. The Toyota went above and beyond, as did the mechanics at Quality Auto Work. Yes, I trust Quality Auto Works and plan to return.

I brought my nearly new 2025 Toyota GR86 to Asian AutoTech of Ventura for a routine oil change. I…read moredid not report any suspension issues, unusual tire wear, noises, vibrations, or handling concerns. The car was driving perfectly fine, and I simply wanted basic maintenance performed. To my surprise, I left being told that my front struts were showing signs of leaking and that suspension repairs might be needed. Hearing that a nearly new vehicle may have suspension problems is concerning, especially when there were zero symptoms leading up to the visit. Wanting a second opinion, I took the car to a Toyota dealership for an inspection. After a full evaluation, the dealership found no leaking struts, no suspension defects, and no abnormalities requiring repair. That discrepancy raises an obvious question: how does a car go from allegedly needing suspension repairs at one shop to having a clean bill of health from a Toyota dealership? The GR86 is not your average commuter car, and its suspension setup is more specialized than what many general repair shops work with daily. In my case, the car is also not driven hard or abused. It's used normally, with no track use, no canyon driving habits, and no aggressive treatment that would reasonably point toward premature suspension wear. It's also worth noting that summer performance tires naturally wear faster than standard all-season tires, and can sometimes show uneven wear patterns due to the factory negative camber built into the suspension geometry. That alone is not necessarily an indicator of a mechanical issue. While I can't say exactly what led to the diagnosis, the experience left me questioning whether there was enough familiarity with this platform to accurately distinguish normal characteristics from actual mechanical issues. I understand that mistakes can happen in any shop. However, when a routine oil change turns into warnings of major repairs, especially on a nearly new vehicle that another inspection cannot confirm, it's hard to feel confident in the accuracy of those findings. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before authorizing expensive repairs. What should have been a simple oil change instead created unnecessary stress, wasted time, and a loss of trust in the inspection process.

They did come out and replace the plug and oil, which I appreciated, but oil was left all over my engine and grease was left inside my car. Now another shop has refused to perform my next oil change because they documented that the oil filter/filter housing was overtightened and they couldn't safely remove it. Unfortunately, there were simply too many issues from one oil change for me to return.
