Brought my grandson's 2016 Infiniti in on a Sunday for four new tires. We did not have an appointment, yet they had us out of there in about an hour. When they quoted me a price, I had to make sure they were talking about 4 tires, because it was about half of what I was expecting to pay for a good set of tires. Went to A&v Tire recently to experiment with a wheel and tire setup on my vehicle. I was uncertain with the fitment I chose and they were more than happy to assist me in mounting the tires and trying them on my vehicle. I am a bad car owner, I must admit. I never align my car and I learned my lesson after today. I had gotten 2 tires here in 2021 and they had told me up come back and align/rotate my tires in a few days because I was in a rush. I had to leave before they finished with all the services requested. They get soooo busy. Welp I never did come back until 2 years later. Now I have to replace the 4 tires. The nice lady at the front showed me my tires and yes, they were terribly worn out especially in the inside. Oops! This place allows you to come and get a free tire rotation for the life of the tires. She recommended I come in every 3 or 4 months. The price was affordable. With the purchase of 4 tires, you get the car alignment for free and now I'm ready for my road-trip. I took my car at 10:45 and it was ready a little after 1pm. No problem.. I had someone pick me up. I went for a coffee/shopping and planned my trip. Ready for my road trip and now I know I need to have my car tires rotated 3k miles or 3/4 months! Pricey lesson. I came in for 2 tires and they called me out to say there was a scratch across the door on my car. Impossible as it was painted two days ago and was in garage till today when I came for tires. Then they say we are checking cameras and I find it funny no one heard or saw anything!!! So she spent 1 hour looking over cameras and would not let me look at them with her!! They are hiding something and now. Been waiting 2 hours and now they called one of the Oxnard policemen to come tale a report. They said they work on his car!! Lets see where this goes. Worst customer service!!!! I went there 4 hours before closing to see if I could get my brakes changed lady in the front tells me it would take A COUPLE HOURS I said that's fine and while I wait for them to atleast come check to see which ones need to be changed an hour and A half passes by and while waiting I see multiple cars pull up and right away service was given within minutes tire changes,quotes being thrown around I can hear them and right away getting help. This particular morning, 8/2/25, it was the most busy I've seen it and I was worried it was going to take awhile. NOPE. I was immediately helped upon walking in the door and a lady came immediately out to check my tires and told me I needed 2, not all 4. I had called on Saturday, spoke to Armando about what was going on w/my car, suspected I needed struts, he gave me an approximate estimate should that be what needed to be done... Came in on that following Monday around 8:30am and they got on it pretty quick. By 9:30 they were jamming busy! But it did not affect the service they provided me. They checked out my car-definitely needed struts plus another small issue. Never trust this mom and Pop shop. Because they ripped me off, they loosen a lot of the mechanical parts and said they needed to be replaced. I further went down to my local shop and they said that it seemed like parts were loosened, and all they did was tighten them and problem solved. This is me and my husband's go to tire spot. They are always reliable and reasonable in price. I had a nail in my tire close to the wall, and GoodYear (was closest to me at the time) said they couldn't fix it, and I would have to buy a new tire. I told them I had a warranty (which I didnt) and left. Drove the few miles to AV tires and they fixed it in 15 minutes. I was in and out and I didn't have to wait a long time. I have been taking my car to AV tires for many years and have received nothing but great and speedy service. They are always busy, so I recommend going their early as everyone usually has the same idea. My last visit there I took my car during a move that I was going through. I had tons of stuff in the trunk and they could not find the wheel lock, I apologized and let them know to not worry about it. I have to write this review again because I had such a bad experience. In my opinion the people at the front desk are not polite or friendly. Every time I have been there. Customer service is everything and I will not go back or refer them. I called prior to going in and was misled. So I dealt with the circumstance in the poring rain. My credit card disappeared so I was pretty upset and they would not do anything to help. I was referred by the owner of international auto and I told him about my bad experience and he said he's not referring there anymore due to how people have been treated not just me. Today if found a nail in my tire, and after being denied by both big brand tire and pepboys, AV tire service was happy to help me. The woman at the desk was friendly and helpful. I was driving through Oxnard on my weekend road trip when my tire pressure warning light came on. I'm traveling with my grandbaby and decide to stop at this location. It was a Thursday late afternoon and the place was packed with cars and people waiting. I pulled into the narrow parking lot and flagged down an employee. He told me to park and a few minutes later he returned telling me he checked me in. About 20 minutes later he directed me to pull into a small area. I pulled in and in 3 minutes my truck was on a Jack and tire removed. A few minutes later he came back and put my tire back on. Turns out the air nozzle thingy was a little jammed. It was checked and filled about 2 hours prior during my oil change at another location. The nice man did not charge me and sent me on my way. I tipped him and thanked him for being such an awesome employee and an awesome place. Don't turn away because it looks busy. There are so many employees that the time goes by quickly.
