Came in to get a flat fixed and I was taken care of right away by the very nice lady that was in the office who had one of the workers follow me out to my car and started fixing the flat immediately. While he was doing that another gentleman went around to check all the air in my other tires. Brought my grandson's 2016 Infiniti in on a Sunday for four new tires. We did not have an appointment, yet they had us out of there in about an hour. When they quoted me a price, I had to make sure they were talking about 4 tires, because it was about half of what I was expecting to pay for a good set of tires. With help from Ms. Elsa, I was able to secure set of four quality brand tires for price better than a Big-Box store located in Oxnard! Also, I had them service the tie rods in addition to front axle repair on my vehicle; reasonably priced! Finally, I went back four days later to have them inspect some squeaking sound coming from the wheels. Happy to say, issue was corrected within ten minutes(metal rubbing against metal), so far, so great! Went to A&v Tire recently to experiment with a wheel and tire setup on my vehicle. I was uncertain with the fitment I chose and they were more than happy to assist me in mounting the tires and trying them on my vehicle. Unfortunately my desired setup was too aggressive for my car so it didn't work out. The staff and crew here were very helpful and got me in and out quick. They completely took care of me as well. I was on the road, in my camper van, and had one tire losing pressure. Stopped in Oxnard to have it repaired at AV Tires. The service was excellent. The tire showed no leaks when tested, so the young man then remounted the tire on the rim and said that might be the problem. I was on my way in no time, with no more leak. Happy camper!!! read more

I am a bad car owner, I must admit. I never align my car and I learned my lesson after today. I had gotten 2 tires here in 2021 and they had told me up come back and align/rotate my tires in a few days because I was in a rush. I had to leave before they finished with all the services requested. They get soooo busy. Welp I never did come back until 2 years later. Now I have to replace the 4 tires. The nice lady at the front showed me my tires and yes, they were terribly worn out especially in the inside. Oops! This place allows you to come and get a free tire rotation for the life of the tires. She recommended I come in every 3 or 4 months. The price was affordable. With the purchase of 4 tires, you get the car alignment for free and now I'm ready for my road-trip. I took my car at 10:45 and it was ready a little after 1pm. No problem.. I had someone pick me up. I went for a coffee/shopping and planned my trip. Ready for my road trip and now I know I need to have my car tires rotated 3k miles or 3/4 months! Pricey lesson. They were fast, efficient, and inexpensive. I was in and out in about 30 minutes without an appointment, to fix a leaking tire.

I came in for 2 tires and they called me out to say there was a scratch across the door on my car. Impossible as it was painted two days ago and was in garage till today when I came for tires. Then they say we are checking cameras and I find it funny no one heard or saw anything!!! So she spent 1 hour looking over cameras and would not let me look at them with her!! They are hiding something and now. Been waiting 2 hours and now they called one of the Oxnard policemen to come tale a report. They said they work on his car!! Lets see where this goes. They still after two hours won't let me see the video!! read more

Worst customer service!!!! I went there 4 hours before closing to see if I could get my brakes changed lady in the front tells me it would take A COUPLE HOURS I said that's fine and while I wait for them to atleast come check to see which ones need to be changed an hour and A half passes by and while waiting I see multiple cars pull up and right away service was given within minutes tire changes,quotes being thrown around I can hear them and right away getting help. I go in to ask do you have an estimate of how long it will take they tell me 2 more hours on top of my hour and A half I've already waited and I would've waited I even asked well can someone atleast tell me which ones need changing that way I don't waste your time or mine the lady said let me go check I follow her and she just goes to help another customer totally not cool how they brush people off like their money isn't good enough I guarantee I'll never set foot in this establishment again and you guys can save your responses saying OH WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE PLEASE REACH OUT TO US NO WAY MAN that's the problem with these mom and pop shops they know their business won't be flinched off of peoples reviews so they continue to not care. read more

This particular morning, 8/2/25, it was the most busy I've seen it and I was worried it was going to take awhile. NOPE. I was immediately helped upon walking in the door and a lady came immediately out to check my tires and told me I needed 2, not all 4. Definitely 5 star worthy! I am so glad I brought my car here! I had called on Saturday, spoke to Armando about what was going on w/my car, suspected I needed struts, he gave me an approximate estimate should that be what needed to be done... Came in on that following Monday around 8:30am and they got on it pretty quick. By 9:30 they were jamming busy! But it did not affect the service they provided me. They checked out my car-definitely needed struts plus another small issue. I left my car, Armando was great about keeping me up to date with the work they were doing, the progress etc...called me around 1:45 to say it would be ready in about a half hour. Very professional and fair pricing! Was pretty spot on with my quote! Everyone working the front was nice and professional. I definitely recommend them! *****I really appreciate the reviews on Yelp as they led me here and even though there's a handful of bad reviews, the good ones FAR outweigh them! This is me and my husband's go to tire spot. They are always reliable and reasonable in price. I had a nail in my tire close to the wall, and GoodYear (was closest to me at the time) said they couldn't fix it, and I would have to buy a new tire. I told them I had a warranty (which I didnt) and left. Drove the few miles to AV tires and they fixed it in 15 minutes. I was in and out and I didn't have to wait a long time. Never trust this mom and Pop shop. Because they ripped me off, they loosen a lot of the mechanical parts and said they needed to be replaced. I further went down to my local shop and they said that it seemed like parts were loosened, and all they did was tighten them and problem solved. I have been taking my car to AV tires for many years and have received nothing but great and speedy service. They are always busy, so I recommend going their early as everyone usually has the same idea. My last visit there I took my car during a move that I was going through. I had tons of stuff in the trunk and they could not find the wheel lock, I apologized and let them know to not worry about it. I have to write this review again because I had such a bad experience. In my opinion the people at the front desk are not polite or friendly. Every time I have been there. Customer service is everything and I will not go back or refer them. I called prior to going in and was misled. So I dealt with the circumstance in the poring rain. My credit card disappeared so I was pretty upset and they would not do anything to help. I was referred by the owner of international auto and I told him about my bad experience and he said he's not referring there anymore due to how people have been treated not just me. I went in because my rear left tire had a screw in it and needed a patch. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. There were other cars being serviced but I think they have a dedicated line for flats. They are professional, have great communication skills and the price for fixing the tire was less than $20. Today if found a nail in my tire, and after being denied by both big brand tire and pepboys, AV tire service was happy to help me. The woman at the desk was friendly and helpful.
