America's Tire - Quick tire check - Tires Near Me - Ventura, California

I've been coming to American Tire in Ventura since I owned my 2001 Lexus IS300, so I know this location well. They're always busy, and for good reason. If you're coming in, make an appointment and come with patience. There are always a lot of customers, and they stay booked. On this visit, I purchased LT285/60R18 BFG All-Terrain T/A KO3s, and they fit my truck perfectly. I have a 2-inch lift and had already done an alignment. On my first visit, I wish the initial employee had taken a little more time to walk through my questions, though he did say the tires would fit. When I came back for the install, Jose completely turned the experience around. He was professional, took the time to come out, listen, and double-check everything. He was honest about a possible slight rub and made sure I felt comfortable before moving forward. That customer service made a big difference. There was a small appointment mix-up, but nothing major. Wait was about an hour, which didn't surprise me given how busy they are. Overall, great service, tires look great, and I appreciate the team. Thanks to Jose and the American Tire crew in Ventura. Happy New Year. read more

I'm writing to express my disappointment with the way my recent customer service experience was handled, particularly by your associate, Ivan. I had contacted Ivan regarding tires for two of my vehicles and had already made an appointment for Saturday. Unfortunately, despite calling the store and attempting to reach him on four separate occasions, my phone calls were not returned. I was simply trying to get clarification and make sure everything was properly arranged for my appointments. I found the lack of communication and follow-through extremely frustrating and disappointing. As a customer, I expect a reasonable level of professionalism and courtesy, especially when I have already made appointments and am trying to plan ahead. read more

America's Tire in Ventura never disappoints! Nowadays, it feels weird when you actually get something for free. Yet, that is what they do...free tire repair, free tire rotation, free exceptional customer service. The team at the Ventura location had me back on the road within 1.5 hours. That was with no appointment...once i noticed the low tire pressure warning, I drove straight there. Thanks again guys! Today reinforced my decision to purchase tires from you and is one of the main reasons why I keep coming back. read more

I was calling around town to find some rare tires and Edgar was the superstar who found them for me with a faster turnaround than Costco. He even beat the Costco price by a couple bucks. They even rushed my repair time so I could get to another appt. Shout out also to Jose and Shaun who were also helpful in getting my car rushed thru during a busy holiday week. I have been going to these guys for years and they are always friendly and professional. The place is clean and they always have a smile for their customers. I feel like they really care and that makes me want to come back and give them my patronage. Thanks, America's Tire! You guys RULE! read more

This hurts to put 1 star, I have been coming here for years for both my cars and the wife's. We bought a set of tires online and made an appointment to get them out on. Show up early for the appointment only to stand there with no help until almost 10 minutes after my appointment. They say the car will be done in a hour and a half. I come back then to see my car just going in? Then they tell me they don't have my tires in stock we purchased? Then charges me the difference, what happened to this place, extremely disappointing. read more

Very friendly and knowledgeable professionals manage this place. I came in with a nail and was given very honest guidance that wouldn't result in business, but still was treated with courteousness! read more

This location turned a simple tire replacement into a three‑day ordeal. As a disabled veteran and loyal customer of over three years, I was twice given appointments by Ivan based on tires that were ordered wrong, received wrong, and never properly checked. On the third visit, Ivan wasn't even there, and Joshua had to tell me the tire still wasn't right. This wasn't a one‑time mistake; it was repeated incompetence and disregard for my time. After this experience, I'm done with this location. read more

Went for tire rotation this morning right on time like they quoted been going to them for years exceptional service

I took my car in last Saturday. I thought I had originally made an appointment with the gentleman that I spoke to on the phone over a week ago, but I was not in their system. But that didn't matter because Jose, which I believe is the manager there, still accommodated me. I got a tire rotation and I will tell you that from the time I got there, dropped my car off. I had a really good experience. He made me feel comfortable. He still took me in to get my tires rotated, and I am a very happy customer. He had a great attitude and reassured me that he would take care of me. Even though my tires were not from America's tires, had the best attitude the entire time. Thank you, Jose. read more

Took a boat trailer last month for 5 trailer tires. I was impressed with their prices and decided to try them for the first time. During the installation, I was called to speak to the person installing the tires. I was told the wheel stud, that the lug nut is mounted to, stripped. I've owned dozens of cars and trailers, this was the first. I was told they do not replace the studs. The lug nut was forced on and I was sent on my way. If the lug nut was just left off, easy repair. But now hours of work because the lug nut could not be removed. But it got worse. There were two studs that were stripped on the same wheel. Most likely, the installer did not screw the lug nut on the stud by hand. Instead placed it in the impact wrench and just forced it on. Then we noticed the 5th tire, the spare. Two of the three lug nuts had not been replaced. The lug nut that was holding the spare was not tightened and was barely threaded onto the stud. That could have caused major damage to the boat, trailer and others of the lug nut vibrated off. Hopefully the other studs are fine when the lug nuts are removed. I will pay a little more to make sure that never happens again. read more

Professional. Friendly. Quick. And cares about you. Only tire shop i get professional help!

I rarely write reviews yet feel compelled to highlight Jose at America's Tire. I have been buying my tires from this location for years and have the worst luck with nails. Hence tire insurance. The other day I had a nail in my tread but the nail was sideways in the tread. I did not believe the nail punctured tire so I removed nail. Seemed fine so I wanted to bring car in to make sure tire was not compromised. Problem is this was late at night and I am working the next 5 days and really a window of like 10 minutes prior to closing in the hopes I could get it checked. The day after I discovered nail I worked an 18 hour shift and arrived at America Tire like 10 minutes before closing. I believed I was not going to be helped and told to come back. I had to try, was not going to beg, just see if they would help me at the end of their shift. When I got there just before closing there was one customer in front of me paying his bill. Jose finished up with a car in a bay and immediately came into the showroom to help me. His demeanor was professional and genuinely concerned to help me. He did not rush the process and allowed me to explain why I was there. He immediately asked me to pull car into bay and he was going to inspect my tires and ensure I was safe. He was extremely helpful and in my opinion went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Jose inspected tire I had issue with and ran diagnostic to ensure if my tire was compromised in any way degrading safety. He also filled up each tire with air and asked if there was anything else he could help with. At this time it was past 1800 hours. I had a nail in my tire last year and I pulled up to shop around the same time and once a technician saw me pull up they closed the bay door. The nail was deflating my tire as I parked. Had to call an uber and it was a simple nail plug. Then I had to take the next day off to take care of tire. I was expecting this issue was going to be the same thing. Nope.... Jose was great and he is an exceptional employee to have on your team. I wanted to give Jose money for helping me out and making sure my tires were safe but I don't carry cash. I wanted to post as he deserves recognition for his great service. People are quick to complain yet few acknowledge great service which Jose gave me. Great job Jose... and for being kind and helpful. You are appreciated. read more

Americas Tire truly deserves its name. It should be, if not already, America's go to tire shop. Service is consistently amazing across all their store locations, and each one of the employees makes sure you're taken care of. I came in for a complimentary tire rotation and had a question regarding my tire that was losing air from a nail and supposedly patched by a different tire shop. I was greeted with smiles and respect, and was in and out within the hour, no appointment needed (even though I had one). The employee notified me that they usually do a plug and patch, and that my tire was only patched, which resulted in the patch failing and losing air. Now I know to not trust any other tire shop except this one. They also helped pump my tires up to the OEM spec without me asking. Keep this company in mind for all your tire needs! read more

Relocated to Ventura County after losing Altadena family home of 25 years in Eaton Fire on 1/8/25. Had repeatedly low tire pressure in one tire on 2024 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. America's Tire in Ventura allowed me to make an online appointment. The entire experience was top-notch. Lovely, professional service lobby, knowledgeable staff, upfront pricing, nice waiting area. After inspecting tire in question, service tech came to inform me that leaking air culprit was a nail in tire. They patched the tire. Because it was a repair only, there was no charge for the service. I will be returning to America's Tire for any and all future tire needs. What a find! read more

I came here to have my two back tires replaced. The service associate, Joshua, was so helpful. He gave me the best deal for the tires that I bought. America's Tire - Pretty clean and nice place. - Tires Near Me - Ventura, California

I went in to quote some prices today and wanted to immediately write a review based on service. I feel that Edgar was so kind and helpful to answer all of my questions regarding their different tires that they offer. I genuinely felt that he was honest with what his company offers and, at the same time, was not pushing me into a sale. He was kind when I said I was still going to compare prices, but honestly, based on the kind, quality service, I will probably be back here. The place was clean and was a space to wait for the service to be done. If not, there are a couple of shopping centers a short walk away to pass the time. read more

Came into town after driving three hours to pick up an item. Right before leaving my location, my indicator light flashing on with low air pressure from one of my tires. Located America's Tire with less than an hour before closing time, drove down told them about my tire, less than an hour later, I am driving away with a repaired tire. It doesn't get any better than that. Props to the crew at the shop. read more

Service started up spectacular . Second trip back this time I needed to buy two new tires because I hit some block debris in the road. Front clerk was very personable and helpful , asking if he would think I would need an alignment and I said I don't know you guys tell me and let me know . Because of the hit, a new sensor was also needed two tires balancing installation 308 not too bad . Then they come out and tell me they already put the sensor in and that was an additional $75 . Difficulty doing the second scan on all the wheels so they had to bring it back into the shop and do some more adjustments . Alignment was never spoken of again . I left a lot with my wheel at least a 15% angle and I have damaged shoulders and hands . I made it about a mile and had to turn back . Now the issue wasn't that I needed alignment the issue was that whoever drove my car somehow didn't either take it for a test drive and notice the severity of the wheel and the pull of the car which in my opinion left me leaving the lot in an unsafe vehicle . I was so upset I came back and the manager of the shop on telephone wanted to argue with me about how because I hit something I would need alignment, how the tow truck driver probably damage the alignment whatever the situation the point being he never once apologized for not taking the car for a test drive and coming back and suggesting, as it was spoken from the beginning, that yes this car needs an alignment . All he wanted to do was argue with me. I wasn't being heard, and to me , what he was trying to say was irrelevant because he wasn't listening to my needs . I was so disappointed I actually left crying . Now I need to find another place to take it to get it aligned and unfortunately a wonderful tire place is now no longer my place to go and they lost a loyal customer. Yeah I'm just one person but I cannot believe how ignorant and rude the manager was when all he simply had to do was say, you're right this is completely out of alignment. Apparently someone didn't take it for a test drive. Would you like us to fix it and this is how much it's going to cost . No he wanted to argue I'm blame everybody else even to the unbalanced shop asphalt instead of simply saying obviously no one took it for a test drive . I apologize . Can we complete the alignment for you ? Again I'm only one person but I'm never going back to that . As a woman they made me feel humiliated read more

I needed my tires rotated and I saw all the good reviews and I decided to give this company a try. When I arrived it look busy. I walked up to the service desk and spoke to Edgar about rotating my tires and he wanted to get my cars info, so we walk outside to my car and he used a scanner on my tires and got my mileage and info. After all that he told me something about the board standard tires they will not service my car. So I told him okay thank you for the info and start to walk to my car and I need to know what that term was so I talk to a tire tech or one of their techs and ask them about that this board standard mean. The tech inform me it was a fancy way saying it was my tread depth is to low. So Now I am upset to the fact that Edgar had the opportunity to sell me 4 new tires but instead tells me they can't service my car and leaves with no effort to sale me new tires. So I drive across the street and went to discount tires on the same street and they offered to rotate my tires or I can buy new tires so I decided to buy 4 new tires. I recommend that Edgar need some training to work on his selling because it was a great opportunity to selling 4 new tires. read more

America's Tire Store went above & beyond on 4/30/25. My husband and I were in downtown Ventura when as we were preparing to leave and drive home we noticed a nail protruding on the side of our back left tire. We were afraid to drive too far. Fortunately there was an America's Tire Store nearby. When we met with, Robert Padilla, at the location on Main St. in Ventura, he said the tire would need to be replaced because the nail was protruding from the side and not the tread. We asked him to replace it and was prepared to pay the $250. for a new tire. When the car was on the rack, Robert came to us to show us the nail and say that it hadn't penetrated the wall of the tire, wasn't leaking and they were able to fix it without us buying a new tire! It's so refreshing to find someone like Robert who is HONEST. He could've easily given us a new tire and no one would've been the wiser. There have been many times that I have stopped in an America's Tire store to have air put in my tires. Their employees are always so courteous and helpful and they don't charge anything for that service. That is why when I need tires I ALWAYS buy them at America's Tire Store. read more

Greeted right away, excellent service. No long waiting. Tire prices are good. Location easy to find!

Warning!!!! Do not bring your car to this place unless you want them to pretend to fix the problem by just resetting your low tire pressure light. Warning!!!!! My light came on in my car telling me that one of my tires had low pressure due to a possible leak- the lazy people working here, instead of actually checking the cause of the light turning on, all they did is reset the tire light without actually fixing the problem. These people should be sued for negligence. It's absolutely irresponsible and one day they will cause someone to die to injure themselves in a car accident because of their lazy, inept behavior. How this place has such high reviews is beyond me. If I were the owner I would fire the people who "worked" on my car immediately. Absolutely abhorrent behavior. read more

The service here was ridiculous. The employee who we talked to was rude when I said we couldn't afford to replace all the tires and he commented "well you're adults youl figure it out".. that's extremely inappropriate and uncalled for. Not only did it take two hours granted it was a walk in appointment they didn't even put the right tire on the car. They gave us a tire with completely different tread pattern. I don't recommend coming here. read more

I've been shopping here for years, after searching and trying different stores for several years. I find America's Tire to be the best when it comes to the whole package. They have a great selection of tires, competitive prices, friendly and knowledgeable employees, and clean and comfortable waiting areas no matter which location. This last visit was no different, except that I ordered the tires online under a special promotion. Once they were delivered, the next day, I was called to notify me of that fact and asked if I wanted to come in a day earlier than what was booked online. I did and arrived at a busy waiting area, but they moved us through quickly. I was quoted a time, and the car was delivered on the button of their estimate. I will go again soon for my other cars. read more
