I found JJs smog on Yelp and after calling them they informed me they weren't busy so I stopped by. Within 10 min I was paying and on my way with a passed smog test. I've gone twice to J.J.'s to get my cars smogged and will now only go to them! My last visit was another great experience. J.J. and his son, Sang, always greet me with a smile. It's a small family owned business, so for me personally, I know that my money is going to a nice family. They also do other services besides smog checks. I was concerned about my brakes going out in this bad, rainy weather. J.J. inspected them for free and said the front brakes needed replacing, but not the back breaks. I received the DMV smog letter late there's only two weeks to get it completed in the mail before my tags expired. I called and they told me to come right down and was able to get the whole process done in less than 25 minutes and they automatically sent the smog certificate to the DMV I was very impressed by how speedy and organized they were. These guys are great! I took my daughters' car there because the fuel guage wasn't properly working. JJ gave me an ideal of what the problem was over the phone so I brought the car into his shop. He later called be about an hour after dropping off the car to confirm with me what the issue was and the cost to repair. This guy's shop ruined my car's oil pan plug caused he used electric instead of manually tightening it.In addition the oil filter was way too tight when I attempted to replace it and which should only be hand tight. I don't' what they did but definitely the tightness is not normal read more
