My radiator blew up on Friday. Called George at OK radiator in Oxnard and ezplained I needed my vehicle for work on Monday. He gave me a quote and scheduled me for Monday morning. He had the radiator replaced in 3 hours, and came in under his quote. Two other radiator shops I checked close to my home were $400 more expensive than OK radiator. Thanks George! read more

Auto Tech Smog & Repair - Auto Tech, Oxnard, CA- August 22, 2026 - Auto Repair Near Me - Oxnard, California

I was surprised to see that I needed my car smogged since it is relatively new but nonetheless it was required to get my new registration. I looked online in my neighborhood and found Auto Tech Smog Station. I was able to make a reservation which was great so I did. My appointment was for 1:15 but I got there early and was taken right away. The manager Issac greeted me and did the test . The website states smog tests could take up to an hour so I took a seat and within maybe 30 minutes I was all done. Issac told me my car passed and the certificate was sent over electronically to the DMV. I had a coupon for $10.00 off I found on their website and it was honored. Issac was great and has the smog business for all my cars from now on. Well done everyone! read more

I called them ahead of time to make sure I could do a walk-in for a smog check and was told yes. Arrived and was in and out in 10 minutes. Their pricing is affordable and they had a coupon for $10 off which was nice. Thanks! read more

The manager Isaac went above and beyond to get my car serviced and have me back on the road after a few misfortunate things happened from a flat tire. What you would have thought would have been a simple fix was not in my cars case and he was able to get the job done and give me the best price possible. A specific part was not easy to come by yet he was persistent in finding the part and went the extra mile(s) to personally pick up the part in Thousand Oaks. Thank you Isaac and the Auto Tech Crew! read more

Definitely the place you want to take your car to get checked out! The manager Isac was very responsive to my cars needs. quick servicie. convenient location. Friendly service . Explained charges before starting work.

Called and asked for price on smog check and was told $20 for a 2021 new out of state tacoma, so clearly won't have any issues passing. When I finally got there, was given a typical bait and switch and then told it is $40. I value truth, honestly, and transparency in business transactions and the bait and switch method used here was dishonest. read more

Went in car didn't pass. No pass you pay Second time going in told me it be 10 bucks if it passes but it didn't again they where trying to give me another bill cause it didn't pass Go somewhere else read more

Called specifically to get an appointment for the promoted "Etch and Catch" program to prevent catalytic converter thefts, and a smog same time. They made an appointment that worked for them so I could bring both cars in. I would have preferred Saturday, however took Tuesday 11am so it worked for their schedule to do both services. Our appointment did include paying for one of the vehicles to get smogged. Funny - they had time to take our money for a smog, but no time for the scheduled Etch and Catch service that I specifically wanted. I had called in June, and they just say "call back later". Essentially, they joined the program to get business, not actually help the community / prevent catalytic converter thefts. They had low stars already on yelp, so I was skeptical about using them. The only reason we drove all the way there is for the program. Next time, will just use the smog place a block from our house... read more

Just got my smog test done and it was the fastest and most efficient service ever. The technicians are so friendly and professional. Our family used to trust this place but after a recent repair and the incredible price increase of a $60 part to $300 and still charging me an additional $200 for labor, I have lost all faith. I get the idea of markup but 500% is beyond ridiculous. I cannot return nor will I refer family and friends here. read more

Forgetful Went in for a smog check and it didn't pass. Told me that I WOULD NOT have to pay if I go back to teat again yet they still made me pay. I'm clearly not the first person this has happened to so just avoid this place like the plague. read more

Dishonest crooks, thieves. You don't pass, you pay. They are, it seems the only smog place who charges if you don't pass. Took my car for a smog, got the print-out: passed the smog but did not get a certificate because suddenly I needed some work with my timing chain, and a vacuum hose which the tech pulled n cracked. They would gladly fix everything but I needed to make an appointment, what a line. Yes I did report them the BAR. read more

So i go in for a smog check at first thinking , why is this place s empty but then i found out why , apparently my air filter was missing some bolts and that was enough for these crooks to steal my money and charge me a RETEST FEE for going back the second time my main issue was that i was TOLD the return smog check would be free because of my initial inspection but nope after asking if they would charge me extra and him TELLIG ME "no we wont be charging you anything i get hit with the receipt with the added fee , they told me either i lay kr tey wont give me the paper copies that shows i PASSED WTF! Avoid this major pain or go find out for yourself read more

One thing everyone needs is a reliable, honest and fairly priced mechanic. I was referred here by my father-in-law, and as of last August they only charged about $60/hr for labor. PLUS, he'll even do half hours. not only that, but he'll get it done ASAP and be very honest regarding what you need. Won't over charge and is more than happy to look and make suggestions. read more

This location is a gold star certified smog station. They were fast, saw me without an appointment, and gave a small discount for paying in cash. If I could give this place a zero I would! The only good thing about this place was that my smog check was cheap, but it does not compare to how uncomfortable Andres made me feel every time I said anything he would say " oh you millennials..." I was not ever rude or spoke back, but it will be the first and last time I ever go there, I'd rather spend the extra 20 somewhere else than to be looked down upon for my age, it was uncalled for and I was nothing but sweet to this man, never again so "millennials" you better beware of this place you are not welcomed. read more
