We purchased a used vehicle with a warranty, and within a couple of months we noticed an oil leak. We took the car to Paradise Chevrolet in Ventura, where we were told the leak was coming from a valve. Afterward, they informed us that the warranty would not cover the repair and quoted us $4,700. The warranty company, Risk Guard, sent an inspector but did not conduct a proper inspection, refused to provide anything in writing, and stated they would not cover the repair. We later discovered that Paradise Chevrolet had misrepresented the issue in an attempt to charge us significantly more. We then took the car to Erini, who was honest, professional, and thorough. He identified the real problem and repaired it for less than one-tenth of the dealership's quoted price. I encountered the essence of honesty and integrity at 126 Wood Road in Camarillo when I met Petey. I arrived at the shop in a tow truck as a hot mess of stress because earlier my 2012 Nissan Sentra decided to violently shake on the freeway as the check engine light came on. I was on my way to pick up my daughter so I prayed for Jesus to "take the wheel" and miraculously, I made it home. I towed my car to a local Nissan dealer and they quoted me $3,400 (scam alert) so I contemplated buying a new car or fixing it. Then I was recommended to Petey so I figured what the heck I'll get a second opinion and that was the smartest decision I've made all year!
