Juan is a good guy, but his staff are unprofessional. Sorry Juan, I was not going to write a review after you took care of it, but that crazy lady who works for you wanted to be a you know what. I got a car battery from MSJ with warranty. Juan taped the AutoZone receipt to the battery so I could use the warranty. 18 months later the battery dies so I call to use the warranty and the lady who answers the phone screams at me that they won't authorize and hung up on me 5 times. They told me to bring the car in. I said I live 300 miles away. They mockingly said I should buy a new battery, drive my car 300 miles, and they will give me the replacement. NEWS FLASH IDIOTS: that's breach of contract and saying that gave me standing the sue the **** out of you. Yes the staff there are actually this f***ing dumb and they think they're smart LOLLLLLLLLLL. So I sent a demand letter telling them I'm about to sue the **** out of them. Juan calls me 3 days later and apologizes, says she doesn't know how to run an office, and authorizes the battery replacement. Everything was fine, but 3 and a half weeks later this dumb lady answers the demand letter with "Good luck with that". Just look at the screenshot. She didn't even know the issue was settled and she has zero emotional regulation or thinking ability. So in conclusion Juan is a real man, but if the lady picks up the phone just tell them you're gonna sue the **** out of them. read more

These guys put oil on my drum brake hydraulic cylinder trying to convince me I needed new brakes. (leaking they said) I just told them it had to wait because I didn't have the money. Me and my aunt who was visiting came in for an oil change(we were referred from autozone) the staff are friendly however the lobby has a lot of loose floorboards, an ant infestation, and ants on the coffee station. And the owners motorcycles take up a lot of space and make it seem like a cramped bike dealership. I would say drop off your car and walk to old town instead of sticking around. read more

Received my car back with scratches and dirt in And outside the car. My personal mechanic had it running with in the hour of taking Possession. Late review for service in April 2024: While heading out to Wheeler Gorge in our older Class C RV, one of the front brake rotors locked up on 101 and was pulling hard to the right. Fortunately, MSJ was right off the next freeway exit and I was able to limp it into the parking lot. Juan was helpful and kind, getting us into the shop in about an hour to evaluate while we unloaded and switched to an alternate vehicle. I left the RV overnight and they had the front calipers, hoses, and brake pads replaced by the next morning. Parts pricing was fair and shop labor rates reasonable. I also came back a month later with a minor vibration concern and Juan took the time to take me for a check test ride and explain that it was a non issue. Made it to Yosemite and back this summer with no issues. I would not hesitate to bring any of my vehicles back in for future service with Juan and MSJ. Thanks! read more

I took my car in for head gasket when they were located on Port Hueneme Rd., When I went to pick up my 84 corvette, I thought they were washing it before I picked it up, turns out it caught on fire. They kept my car for TWO YEARS getting it fixed. Finally, after they got it running again, I went and picked it up because I got tired of waiting for them to get it done. Got it home and blower motor not working took apart and found dry chemical residue from two years prior when it caught on fire still there. They replaced some parts with used parts and never cleaned them. The carpets were all grease, and they broke the fiberglass flooring on the passenger side because they didn't jack it up right. Plus other numerous problems so if you have a vintage car do not bring it to this shop. I have spent almost $800.00 to fix what they messed up. The guys here are friendly and SO honest and trustworthy. seriously, they show me the new parts and their invoices before installing it and explain everything they are doing so I know they're not over charging. I needed major work done and a few new parts, and they charged me a fraction of what the dealer said they were going to charge me. My car is running great and I've had zero issues since coming here. The alternator Juan/Mike installed was not done properly. I broke down on the side of the road. Fast forward a couple months later, we're trying to get the warranty PIN number on the part that we paid for. They are not responsive on the phone, and won't give us the information. So we have paid for their labor, and TWO Alternators now bringing our 500$ bill to 650$ all within a 6 month timeline. I will delete this review if they at least give us our warranty information but as long as this review is up, they are not being responsive. read more

Paid over $300 for labor alone, and $200+ for parts. I'd be fine with that except my vehicle broke down less than an hour drive after and I had to go to another mechanic just for them to tell me that the mechanics here did a horrible job, and the parts they ordered were now ineffective. The new mechanic we are now at was so confused if we went to a real mechanic or not. Mike and Juan aren't responsive to phone calls, and I suspect they know they messed up and let me drive with it. When they did pick up, they sent me a "warranty phone number", which was a phone number to a random survey. This is a sleazy company, who tries to milk your money. Mike has been rejecting our calls and it's most likely due to the fact that he knows he messed our car up and milked us for 500$. read more
