When I got to Camarillo my 2004 Honda Pilot was making a noise..... On Monday June 7th, I called TNT Automotive after reading several positive Yelp reviews. I had the good fortune of reaching Todd Harter, the business owner. I explained the situation and he told me to bring my Pilot in THAT DAY. I dropped her off for a diagnostic and heard back from Todd quickly. I needed a new power steering pump and ps fluid exchange. He gave me the quote for the job, I said Yes, please. I then received a call at 2:40pm to let me know the work was complete and I could pick up my Pilot. My friend dropped me off for pick up of my SUV. I paid and was on my way the SAME DAY. I hopped on the 101 to go to Simi a few hours later. My Pilot is back in great running order! It was SO NICE to find a great local mechanic and get a same day repair. Shady was very professional and straight forward with me about what was absolutely necessary to fix and what could wait. Just this week I took my car to Firestone to get the tires rotated. I was told by Firestone my rear brakes and rotors needed to be replaced at the tune of $700. I was skeptical and called S&M for a quote. They gave me a rough estimate of $450 and told me to bring in the car the next day, because it was likely I didn't need the repair. Sure enough, when I took it to S&M, they said I could wait to replace the rear brakes. I trust S&M and Shady. I will definitely continue to take my car to them.
