Everyone from start to finish were polite and very friendly! This was my first time getting a pedicure and I was very nervous about people touching my feet. The massage chair was comfortable and got all the right spots with an adjustable remote panel, the foot and leg massage were just what I needed after a long week on my feet (I'm in healthcare). The treatments for the toes and skin were comfortable and light, HIGHLY recommended for people with sensitive skin (like me), and the general vibe was so chill and if I had more time I'm telling you, I would have fallen asleep. Pricing is pretty good too! ~$60 for the massage, pedicure, foot soak, gel paint, and massage chair. Best first experience ever! I'll bring my husband next time! read more

Mani Pedi Spa - Eyelash Service Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Service and quality at this mani pedi spa are questionable. It's unfortunate that the staff there don't make you feel welcome. They want you in and out of there. The person that gave did my pedicure was quick in cleaning and exfoliating but she forgot about me when my feet were drying. I watched her looking at her phone. I must have sat there for 10 minutes plus and finally decided to get out of my chair. I was disappointed and will not return. Vibe was negative, Staff needs to be talked too about customer service. Ala Moana is the ideal location to get a mani/pedi but this location needs help. read more

I've been coming to this salon for the past 6 months, and I've had such a great experience every time! The salon is always clean and welcoming, which I really appreciate. I always see Monica, and she is amazing! She never rushes and really takes her time to make sure everything is perfect. Most importantly, she is incredibly gentle with my nails. Even when removing my gel, she takes her time and is very careful rather than being aggressive or rushing through the process. I really appreciate how much she prioritizes the health of my nails. I highly recommend Monica 100%! She's definitely my go-to! read more

If youre going to Tina, she is really good. Unfortunately, Tina wasnt there so I went to Olivia. She was awful! I told her several times that she was making my nails too thick, and she kept replying (with a negative attitude), " Im not finished." The last time I said it I knew she had already finished, but she didnt care. She looked at me and gave me a dirty look. And the owner wasnt any nicer. What a shame because I've been there several times, and it looks clean and professional, but I rather NOT go to somewhere where they have an attitude. Not even 3 days later my hair kept getting caught in my nails because Olivia made my nails TOO THICK and she grinded my nails down to where one of them broke. Really sucked because I had to pay another 120 3 days later. Ugh. Too many choices to choose from, so no sense go to somewhere mediocre. The BEAUTY BAR and the nail salon in Kaneohe, next to wholesale unlimited, called PLACE OF PERFECTION Is really good too. I think she was the owner. K. Have a happy day everyone! read more

Rude service. I know builder gel can burn while curing, but this was extremely painful, so I said something. The nail tech snapped back, "It's supposed to hurt!" in an aggressive tone. When I told her she didn't need to be aggressive, the situation became even more uncomfortable. I should have walked away. Paid $75 plus a 3% credit card fee. So, total $91 with tip to be yelled at and left feeling stressed. In my experience, the bad reviews were justified. read more

Honestly, the worse pedicure I ever had. Girl didn't even due a bottom or top coat and put cotton between toes . No quick dry, unless you spend $10 more. They don't tell you. After sitting for 15 minutes she tells me I can go with the pedicure slippers I brought with me. That it would not dry for half hour? I had my cute Sandles , so would not wear ugly pedicure slippers . More expensive than most places and terrible. Don't waste your money. Going back to where I know is good. Last time here. Horrid. read more

Had a great girls day out getting manis and pedis at Mani Pedi Spa. This is an establishment I've passed a hundred times at Ala Moana and previously never gave them a try because I have my usual go-to nail salon elsewhere. So I'm glad my friend went ahead and booked the day for us here. They have a huge space with many massage spa chairs and glad that there's a large section in the back so that passerby's can't see you while getting a pedicure through the window. A row of manicure tables are up front in the window. They have dozens and dozens of colors available in both regular nail polish and gel polish. I think many of you can agree that the hardest part about getting your nails done is choosing the color. Thankfully, they have color samples that you can take with you to help you decide while you're getting your service done. I'm ashamed to say that I didn't get the name of the employee who gave me a pedicure and manicure, but she did a good job overall. She was nice and checked in periodically to see if everything was ok. She did the normal polish check to see if I liked the color on myself. The only thing I would have appreciated was a heavier pressure on my foot massage but because I was busy talking to my girlfriends, it wasn't a huge deal and I wasn't focused solely on my pedicure. It's been about a week and my nails are still in tip top shape. Mani Pedi Spa is a great spot for a large group since they have many employees and service chairs available. read more

My first visit there to try out the place. Service was acceptable but not exceptional. Just a warning. Beware about using credit card because unbeknownst to me until I inserted my credit card for payment, there was a fine print stating that a 3% surcharge will added on. The fine print states: "There will be a 3% convenience fee for credit card transactions. Total will be shown on card statement." This disclosure should be printed on the service menu as a courtesy to their patrons. If I had known about their 3% surcharge in advance, when I sat down at my station, I would not have been upset and accepted it. Not returning because of salon's failure to clearly disclose the added surcharge. read more

I've been to this nail salon multiple times but this time was unacceptable. Appointment scheduled at 6:30pm for 2 people (mind you I am taking my 10yr old niece for her birthday) for gel nail and my niece wanted extensions. I was asked if we wanted to come in sooner 5:30 or 6pm, I agreed with 6pm. Walked in and was greeted nicely and was told to pick our color. While looking for about maybe 3mins we are rushed to pick our color. A nail tech took my niece to have a seat and as I watched her go to her seat, I was confused on why the seat next to her was empty. While I was picking my color, my nail tech Kimmy approached me asking me what color, I showed her and I asked her where was I sitting and she pointed across the room behind a wall ( I thought to myself, um why would you seat me away from my 10yr old niece?!) so I asked nicely if I could sit next to my niece since there was an empty spot. She looked at me all irritated (which I ignored it, understanding that she would have to move her set up to another location) and agreed to seat me next to her. So fast forwarded, the first color I picked out I ended up not liking it (she showed me the pinky with 1 swipe of polish and I was like okay but then after she polished the next 2 nails I wasn't feeling it ( and if I am paying for something that's expensive then I want to like it) so i apologized to her and said "Sorry I am not liking this color" (she then exhales deeply like she got irritated and I caught that (now I am irritated so I apologized again asking if we could change the color) she then starts to wipe it off and asked what color, I asked can change to a lighter pink? Kimmy says "Oh we don't have a lighter pink " (okay lady, like I didn't just look through the gel color book and noticed that there's more than 1 light pink!) SO to make HER JOB EASY FOR HER I chose the same color my niece was using because it was right next to her! I don't usually point out the mistakes or uneven polish but as you can tell the color is a lighter pink and if you polish it unevenly YOU WILL SEE IT! I waited to see if she was going to apply another coat to even it out but she then applied the clear polish on and that's when I knew that she didn't give a R@ts A$$ if it was uneven or anything, so I asked her nicely to fix it, she was even more irritated. I looked at my other hand and there were more mistakes! Like Lady I know this is not your first rodeo and if you don't want to go back and fix it then ASK THE CUSTOMER IF IT LOOKS OKAY BEFORE YOU PLACE THE CLEAR POLISH! Anyways she fixes it and did my massage and THEN I was looking at my done nails and I see that there's some kind of BLACK THING OR a HOLE on my nail! I asked her to look and she said she doesn't see anything.... I showed her again and she said "Oh maybe from the towel" I asked her can we fix it.... (look I get it, it's almost closing time and I know you want to go home BUT IF YOU CANT OR CHOOSE NOT TO DO YOUR JOB RIGHT WITHOUT ATTITUDE THEN DON'T TAKE THE LAST CUSTOMER!) at this point I'm over it and I want to just say what ever already but it's expensive and I want it right... so she ends up applying one coat over the black thing and after I asked her if she had applied the clear polish over it and she said "Yes, oh you forgot?) Ooooh girl! Let me tell you!!! I wanted to explode BUT I decided to tell her "Oh okay it's fine" I stood up and told my niece let's go and paid for both of us $225 (for frickn junk and messy nails from my nail tech Kimmy) my niece was happy with her nails though and her nail tech was nice she said. So Kimmy if you're reading this I hope you had a great night! Also I hope you do a better job on your next customer! Side note the nail tech Chloe and Anne are great if you want to request for someone but since I scheduled this appointment a day prior I knew that they would already be busy. So I got Kimmy or Kimmie however you spell her name. read more

I've been going to this spa for pedicures for quite some time now with no issues. A few weeks ago, I went in for a pedicure and the technician noticed that I had ingrown toenails. She decided to work on them without really asking me. I was fine with it and was glad that she went the extra mile. Mani Pedi Spa - My nails ready! - Eyelash Service Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Just got a pedicure with my grandma for the first time. Made an appointment earlier in the day for 6pm (they close at 7 but they said it was fine) Both girls were rushing our pedicures. I asked for french tips and she charged me $10 extra but literally just put white polish and cleaned up the lines with nail polish remover... no base at all, usually would get a nude/pink base but nooope. I'm actually so irritated, she definitely was just rushing. Paid over $100 for less than an hour of treatment and the girl barely said one word to me. I feel bad because they were trying to close but next time just say no instead of charging $60 for a half ass pedicure lol. read more

The great place for some ME time!! I've been coming here quite often as I used to work in the mall and more so out of convenience and they've never said no and always somehow have some time for me. Besides all of the above it does have a bit of history that's close to my heart as it was the last place me and my sister from another mother bestie have always spoiled me rotten constantly in the most loving way and thoughtful way took me to have our pedi for my birthday...and I still have a picture of us smiling soaking our toes. That day we shopped at the Disney Store (she LOVES Disney) ate at Ruscello then did our toes and went to Cafe Lani for dessert and her singing happy birthday....sigh! So as my birthday Month has fast approached and my sad toes were in desperate need of attention what better place than to get it taken care of. With a counter filled with colors bottles obviously are the regular and all swatches are gel, I didn't mind either but I couldn't find the color I wanted in regular so gel it is. They do have several Mani/Pedi from... - Classic (soak, details nails, cuticle, callus care with soothing massage, hot towel and color) - Spa (classic with organic sugar scrub and paraffin wrap treatment) - Deluxe (Spa with 20 minute massage) Specialty Pedi - Medic Pedi (TLC for Diabetics) - Express (soak, detail nail and cuticle care, foot scrub and gel polish) - Detox Spa Pedi (infused w/black charcoal) - Mimosa Spa Pedi (invigorating champagne like lotions and exfoliation) - Marine Delux Pedi (marine sea salt product for relaxation) They certainly do take great care of your feet to create and make great memories with your bestie as they have so many comfy chairs and putting yourself first is essential! Thank you! read more

I have been a loyal customer for years if not nearly a decade. I did not mind the overpricing because it is convenient and the staff were - operative past tense. WERE - quite pleasant. Ive been searching for a good nail tech ever since I moved to Oahu. It was not easy. I almost gave up until I booked my first appt with Tina. I usually just get gel mani and pedi and when others have done my nails, the nails would chip off within a week. HOWEVER, Tina is the best !!! Every time she does my nails it looks absolutely perfect. She is meticulous and really does a good job since my gel polish usually stays on for 3-4 weeks. That's saying a lot because I wash my hands frequently due to my job. Listen, I thought about gatekeeping the best nail tech at this establishment but she deserves to be recognized. I understand why the rating is low. The technician for me today was unfriendly and rude. Wouldn't even look at me let alone be helpful or say a word. I love that this place is in Ala Moana, close to Target and on the side which I normally shop. Location is Mauka Side mall level by La Palme D'Or, Premium Barbershop and The Lanai eateries. This place can be hit or miss in service. Thankfully, I've had more "hits" than misses in the time I've frequented this salon. I've come to expect just the bare minimum from salons because most of the staff there are ESL. If they can speak some conversational English, great! If not, no biggie to me. I prefer mani/pedis with minimal chatter as I relax or play on my phone. The markdown comes from their availability, or lack thereof. Four out of five times, they don't do walk ins and you'll be advised to come back in a couple of hours or the following day. My schedule is often saturated with meetings and errands so I appreciate businesses that can take me on a whim. The massage chairs are comfortable and clean. They also take safety measures using disposable tub liners and sterilized utensils after each client. Solid stars for that. One of the best customer service came from an aesthetician named Julia. She performed my manicure and was so friendly and efficient! Her English was impressive and I enjoyed my time with her a lot. Prices are reasonable, especially considering their high-rent locale in AMSC. For a classic mani/pedi, it came out to $60 and I was refreshed after an hour of pampering, massage, and fresh nails! read more

5/5 on the nail job, but 2/5 on the service. Got a spa pedi and regular mani, they do a great job here so IMO it is worth the price. The spa pedicure is my favorite, and I would highly recommend it. I had Julia and she was so nice! Definitely would go back and see her. The girl working the front desk was pretty rude when I asked to check in. She was very young. I went with my Aunt, and so I asked if I could pay for her treatment ahead of time as a surprise to her. The young girl rolled her eyes when I asked this and looked pretty displeased, but eventually rang me up at the register. Additionally, a worker asked me while I was picking my color if I wanted gel or no gel (before I paid). I told her I just have to take my current gel off, and I don't want any new gel. Apparently this was not communicated by her to the people doing our nails or the people at the front desk, as we were not "properly charged" the additional $5 for removing gel and reprimanded for not telling them later (even though I told a worker this as I was picking my color). I made sure to tack on an extra $5 to my tip to make up for this, but did not appreciate being made to feel like this was my fault when it was a miscommunication between the 3+ workers talking to me. read more
