That was by wife. I was talked into a foot rub. As my feet soaked, the sweet woman bright a pedicure tray over. I had to deny three offers to just let her clip my already short nails. Then she proceeded to give a foot rub which consisted of running her thumbs and forefingers along my lower leg bones for 30 minutes. She also gave me a run down on her family and asked multiple questions about how long I was staying and where and what I did for a living. My entire mission while in that chair was to not cry or flinch. When she was done, I felt comfortable concluding she had not one single day of training in massage therapy. My bill was $60. My wife's was $42 for gel plus $25 for two flowers. All in all, we left laughing (and limping), but $150 lighter than when we went in.

I don't recall how I came across Sugar Bar, but I'm glad I did. I'm Okinawan so, needless to say, I'm kinda fuzzy. *insert Chewbacca growl here* What prompted me to try sugaring was the natural ingredients they used. I've been here a few times now and I've had a great experience thanks to Vi. She's really nice, easy to talk to, and makes sure you're comfortable. The results appear to be pretty good so far - my Chewy "fur" regrowth seems finer. Looking forward to seeing future results. There is also plenty of street parking across the street near McKinley HS. When I first walked in, I noticed the room was decorated with plants and crystals-- which is just my style. The room for the sugaring was clean and wipes were provided. The process was a lot shorter than I was expecting, around 15-20 minutes for everything GONE! As a follow up, I came in for the Scultural Face Lift with Buccal Massage. This included lymphatic drainage (behind your ears) and microcirculation of my shoulders, neck, and jaw area. Lol my total was $99 ridiculous. I never make reviews but in this case I wish I would've seen something like this before going in.

The location located upstairs at Nueve Salon and Spa (the door specifically says Brows and Bushes for those going for their first time), I was easily able to walk here after also easily booking using Vagaro, the very user friendly online platform. I came in for an eyebrow wax and told her I was scared to get my brows done and she walked me through her process and what she envisioned for my eyebrows (I had a bad experience at a salon many years ago and have been hesitant to try anyone new since... hence me going to the same person for 10 years prior). Anyway, she was extremely communicative and kind and the experience was easy and comfortable. I left feeling great about my eyebrow shape and felt even better about supporting her business. She is so good at her job, a talented waxer, and a great conversationalist! Looking for a wax? This is the place to go.
