Scheduling is always very easy, she's always on time, she's never canceled my appointments, and occasionally if I need to reschedule last minute due to starting my cycle or other issues she has no issue with me rescheduling. So its best to call/text. Same day appointments are difficult as you cant just walk in and she is usually booked out. Kathy is a one woman show. Her studio is clean and inviting. She offers the best quality services and her prices are outstanding. I wont list prices here since they are always subject to change. Though, I can tell you that her pricing is competitive. The care that she takes to ensure you are satisfied with your services is remarkable. I have only gotten waxed by her, but I refuse to go anywhere else unless she just isnt available. Here are some of the highlights: Kathy is very knowledgeable Quick and painless She will pluck literally EVERY hair that is out of place with a magnifying lens The studio is tidy, clean and organized Pricing is fabulous She takes only 1 client at a time Parking could be an issue if you arent within walking distance. I was searching for a new esthetician for a brazilian wax, since I usually have a tough time with ingrowns. Kathy did an incredible job, was meticulous and thorough, walking me through each step and putting me at ease immediately. I'm accustomed to Cirepil wax, and Kathy offers various wax densities for each use case. Kathy explained which wax she was using for which area and why, cleaning up with tweezers as needed. She uses a combination of hard wax and the traditional sugar type. And ensures she's got literally everything down there complete with lighted magnifying glass and tweezers! LOL it's so convenient I walk there in my lunch breaks but if you are driving there's also parking in the building and shell validate. She's clean and quick and responsive. I have been getting waxed by Kathy since at least 2010 (maybe 2009 even). She is AWESOME! I go the Brazilian route and not only is she super speedy, but the whole thing is just about as pain-free as waxing can get! I also get my eyebrows done and I fully trust Kathy to not go overboard or do anything weird to them - I had some traumatizing eyebrow waxing experiences as a teenager so this is no small thing. Kathy is also super super sweet, friendly, and accommodating. I know that some people are very regimented about their waxing, scheduling appointments exactly every 4.87 weeks or something. Well... I'm more the type that will not think about the issue for several weeks/months and suddenly realize out of nowhere, "I MUST GET WAXED IMMEDIATELY - THIS CANNOT WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW!" And Kathy is totally okay with that and always finds a way to work you in! So great! All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend Kathy for all your waxing needs! I read many other positive reviews on Yelp prior to scheduling an appointment with Kathy, and the service definitely deserves 5 stars. She arrived a little late considering that I scheduled the appointment on a Sunday opening (but that's okay ). Also as a side note, if you're coming in on a Sunday, you'll have to remain at the lobby area and call Kathy to let you in (there's a security door and apparently, it's locked during weekends so THAT got me confused for a bit). I scheduled a first-time Brazilian with Kathy and she made me feel very comfortable and she was EXTRMELY thorough and I was VERY pleased with the results. Good waxing places are hard to come by and these are the rare places where everything is perfect. Kathy is quick for those who want to get eyebrow waxing done during business hours, 15 minutes tops if not less. If not she's open until 7pm so you can go after work also. Her waxing was painless and did not aggravate (especially with my sensitive skin -- this is godsend), and she was an expert in shaping them nicely. I think I found my go to for waxing! I found this spot on yelp and I'm glad I listened to everyone's review and gave it a shot. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. Usually I'm a Pretty easy going person but I went here a day before I went to the military ball because a lot of people were booked, I saw it had great reviews, and I wanted to look good for my husband. First problem I had a hard time finding the location. which well wasn't a big deal because I was kind of new to that area. So I wasn't to upset about that . I initially went in to get a Brazilian wax the price was pretty decent and this wasn't my first time doing this so I knew what to expect. when I walked in it looked like some sort of apartment it was really clean so I didn't think anything of it. she asked me to lay down so I obliged and Honey when I tell u when she put that wax on me It felt like she burnt a hole through my skin. I even told her it was to hot and she blew on it. I was ticked but I was already mid wax. so when she finally finished it look nice I was in a lot of pain which I wasn't to alarmed about it. when I got home and it was still hurting the next day I knew something wasn't right. I had to go to my doctor because in grown hair bumps started pop up the next day that has never happened to my and ive gotten a lot of waxes and that never happened. my doctor told me it was due to the waxing and he gave me some cream and after a week it went away. I wouldn't recommend this person to do your wax I had a horrible experience and it scared me for life.
