She's so kind, informative, and kept the conversation going the entire time, which I loved because I hate silence. She also gave me so much helpful information about ingrowns, especially since I'm very prone to them. The hydro jelly was my first time trying it, and now it's officially my favorite! Content is King, but engagement is Queen and she rules the house! Emily does an amazing job of creating content on Instagram for what can be an awkward thing for some, waxing! Not only does she sell you on it, she lures you in on the, "I have to try this, with her!" Emily is in an extremely high demand so when you go to book be prepared for it to book up a month out! However, you can watch her Insta Stories for cancellations or last minute openings. Snatch it quick because in minutes even those are gone! I was able to book fortunately off a last minute opening. It was just in time as I am super OCD and wax every 3 weeks. Although, it usually isn't needed for 4-6 weeks, I am just bougie and clean! You put a credit card down for the appointment. It isn't charged unless you no show. You'll be charged for 100% of the service. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you're considered a no show. Cancellation 24 hours prior, you get charged 50% of the service. More than 24 hours, no charge. *The girl is in high demand* :) When you arrive, there is a good amount of parking, thank goodness. No payment needed. You go through the blue lock gates and upstairs to Suite 208. Be sure to text Emily when you are there. She does a prescreening for COVID via a questionnaire and does temperature check before even entering the door. Super clean and sanitary, even inside! Classy spot, love! Emily is beyond sweet with a bright personality! She honestly was the best wax I have had yet! She is OCD too and scopes every last inch, no shame! :) She has a ton of after care products too! Personally love the tea tree oil. Some tips if you are new to the wax game: *Grow out the hair for 3 weeks *Exfoliate 1-2 days before your appointment. *Shower before your appointment *Wear lose clothing/undies *I recommend hydro jelly too! :) But wait, there is more! So I'm walking out of my appointment right now and let me tell you, the 30 minute Brazilian with Emily is the real deal. I went in about 1:30 PM and it's 1:59 PM as I'm writing this out. Her spot is SO CLEAN and so cute! I felt comfortable the moment I walked into her space. Everything is very neat, clean, and a private space. The waxing pots looked spotless and the bed was very soft and comfortable to lay on. For the waxing, this was my first Brazilian wax ever. I tried my best I grew out the lady parts for as close to 3 weeks as possible. If I had to compare the pain between getting my first tattoo on my rib cage or the Brazilian wax, I would say they're both uncomfortable but absolutely worth it! Emily was very quick with her hands and made sure the wax was at a comfortable temperature. She also asked if I wanted her to count down or to just pull. Of course I wanted her to just pull because I cannot with my anxiety. Some areas were a little painful which was to be expected with my low pain tolerance and first time wax.
