Easy to book. It was a cute private set up of suites. Had a great waxer she was very gentle and the conversation was relaxing . Simply Summer is incredible! I've been there for a number of waxing services (eyebrows, under arms, lip, and brazilian) and they always do an incredible job. I love how professional and friendly their staff is, and their rooms are super cute and clean! Only complaint is that parking can be tricky (street only). And heads up.. the stairs going up to their rooms are quite steep; the stairs weren't an issue for me but a little tricky for my mom. All in all 10/10 recommend! read more

It was my first time getting waxed here. I was very hesitant in getting a manzillian done since certain places only do certain parts of the male anatomy. Kalei was the first person that greeted me upon entry. She was very friendly and approachable. It was like going over a friend's place. It's beautifully decorated in pink, guys don't let that intimidate you! Dayna was tasked to wax me. She was very professional and easy to talk to. She made me feel comfortable. The waxing was not burning hot and it was not painful at all. Yes, a manzillian is everything waxed, your pistachio nuts, churro and peach area. lol. She was quick and knew what to do. Went here for a facial a while back and was sadly, disappointed in the service. The lady there gave me a custom facial to address my skin concerns. For context, I have severe eczema and my skin is quite sensitive so I called ahead to make sure that it was okay I go there for an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, I ended up waiting over half an hour to be seen. The lady when she saw my skin said it was too oily (which just doesn't make sense because my skin literally flakes off constantly) and although I paid for the hour long facial I was done in about 40 min. This was upsetting given that I paid over $100 for this service and didn't receive the full service. Once I left, I couldn't help but notice how dry and uncomfortable my face felt. This was again upsetting because if I get a facial done, at the very least I would like to feel hydrated. The discomfort increased (luckily no allergic reaction), and so I had to go home and wash all the product and put my own creams on to fix this issue. I didn't ask for refund, since I did receive the service, and the lady there was really kind, but safe to say that I am quite disappointed in my results. read more

I was able to schedule an appointment for services with the esthetician Taesia! First and foremost, the fact that they were able to take me the day of blew me away. Secondly, I caught some unforeseen traffic and was running alittle behind on my scheduled time; I called the spa to give them a heads up on my late arrival and they were ok with that! After having had laser, I thought my days with waxing were over, but sadly I was mistaken. I put things off long enough and went online and found simply summer. After speaking with a neighbor who recommended her, I made my appointment and took an advil before my time slot. Getting parked was my first challenge, I have a broken foot and there aren't any disabled parking spaces, so I had to park down the block and walk, which was rough. I then sat in the adjacent waiting room for a bit, and she called me in. I was taken aback by the open and unscreened feel of the space, like at any time someone could walk in and see me getting waxed. Undaunted it was time to go, and I just hustled through. Waxing is always awkward and painful, but this seemed both more painful than I remember and faster than I remember. Possibly those things are somehow related. Price was good, she was fast, and her cleanliness was good. My only downside to the work was that she left quite a bit of wax on my skin, and I had a very uncomfortable drive home while trying to unstick my clothes from the leftover wax. Overall very positive experience, and I'd not hesitate to return to summer in the future. read more
