I'm so glad I found this place! I come here to get sugaring. Rina is amazing! She is so sweet and fun to talk to. It goes by super quickly and she does a great job. I like how she leaves the room to let you undress. The towelette and cloth to cover up is also a nice touch! It's very easy and simple to make an appointment online. And if you're in the mood to treat yourself, try their hydrojelly mask! It's a little extra but it feels nice especially after getting waxed. You can customize the type of mask you want. I never have trouble with parking as there are a bunch of stalls right in front. Another plus: they have a stamp card!
KAWAII!! I scheduled an appointment with Rina to get my nails done before my trip to Japan. We took some time to discuss the shape and design. She took the time to perfect the shape and made sure each nail was to my liking. Her passion shows in her commitment to excellence. I decided to shape my nails in between a stiletto and almond (I like to call them cat ears). My pinky, thumb, and pointer finger are an iridescent pale pink color. My middle finger has a mirror design on white gel. And my ring finger is entirely glitter. I sent her multiple photos of the design I was trying to go for, but I am pretty happy with the design we came up with together. I forgot to mention that my nails grow super fast and she filed them down a little short, so by day 3, you could already see my nail bed. With tax and tip, the total came out to around $70. I will probably be back when I need my nails done for my next trip. Definitely recommend! Thanks for reading my reviews! Let me know what I should try next!!
This review is for Tiffany, I believe she's new but she's truly amazing. I've been here two other times and it was done by another lady which was also very good. I arrived for my appointment and didn't have to wait at all. Tiffany was punctual and friendly. Her station was immaculate and organized with lots and lots of colors to choose from. Now onto her craft, she's is meticulous and a perfectionist. She asked if I was happy with the shape and length throughout the whole process. Her attention to detail is also amazing. I've been here for over five years and I'd have to say this is the best set of nails I've received at a salon. Each finger she worked on was checked and rechecked to make sure everything was good. Her skills are really second to none. I don't normally get nails this long but decided to give it a try and it came out perfectly. It was not thick and looked super natural. Thank you so much, Tiffany for these nails. I'm so glad I've found you. I would recommend her to everyone.
Love the service and the quality! If you enjoy your mani and pedi time, Hello Bombshell is your place to go but, be sure to make an appointment because walk ins are not allowed. Albee did an excellent job at making nail art an actual master piece. The decor is cute and modern. The music is soft piano with a hint of jazz and the service is wonderful. I know they offer a bunch of other services like scrubs, lash extensions, and waxing but today was a day for mani and pedi only. I'm extremely happy with my holographic nails with deep French tips. Made an appointment at 1130am and left around 1pm; yes it's a long time but, the work is phenomenal and can only imagine what the other services are like. Already referred a few of my friends to this little gem and they are highly interested in booking their next nail date with Hello Bombshell.
Always visit Albee at Hello Bombshell for gel nail design. she is a very talented manicurist, and she is so considerate and Humorous. EXCELLENT PLACE! EXCELLENT SERVICE! EXCELLENT PRICE!
Tiffany is amazing!!! Tiffany was very detail-oriented with my nails. She was also very sweet and kind. I would definitely recommend getting nails done by her They also seemed to offer lash extension services and other beauty services. All the staff seemed very nice and the salon was very clean and pretty. :)
Really wanted to give this review a chance but I just can't. I got my eyelashes done on a Thursday 5/26 and for my first time the experience was AMAZING. Chelsea did my lashes and she was super friendly and easy going. She was very gentle for the partial set I had done (the may special $60) and when she finished boy did my lashes look great! In total I paid about $75-80 for the lashes. The next morning when I woke up atleast 3 lashes had fallen out of my eye. I thought it was normal so I thought nothing of it. But the next day a few lashes fell out AGAIN. Then on the third day.. half of the lashes on my left eye were gone. I don't know where I went wrong in this situation ... I brushed my lashes in the morning and at night and I refrained from using any oil products. But my $80 worth of lashes just couldn't stick to my natural lashes... I got my lashes done specifically for a trip.. and sadly enough I only have half of those lashes on which to me is just ...... crap. Note, I left for my trip 4 days after I got them done.... I expected them to still be intact and pretty by this time but it already looks like I've had it for weeks :/ such a bummer!!!
This is my third time getting my nails done here and I absolutely love my set yet again. Rina has a great eye for creativity but also asks for your suggestions for colors, nail shape, design, etc. The location is quite far from where I live, but worth the drive! Highly recommend stopping by for a mani.
This review is for LASHES! I am long over due for a review! Sorry Chelsie! I got my lashes done on 8/30 fluffies style - she had a special for $50 , if paid by cash , you don't get charged extra. She was very attentive, to what I needed to do. I wanted to make a review until my falsies fell out. That was the whole reason as to why, this took me a minute to write a review. Each session can vary by 1-1/2 hours or 2 hours. She was quick. Made me feel comfortable. I always feel like I had just got off the plane. In a good way. I always seem so relaxed and sleepy. The reclining bed is very comfortable. Oh also, they give you free parking , ice water / ice tea. For someone who has alopecia areata. I will make sure to tell you it lasted me 5 weeks. Most times my fake lashes would last me 2 weeks or less. Thank you Chelsie for your hospitality! Will see you soon for my performance:)

I really debated on reviewing my visit because I seriously despise doing one star review but I just wanted to cry with the whole experience!! I do very little make up because at work I'm covered head to toe and stand 10+ hours everyday besides recovering from a broken ankle so tend to spoil my feet. I just love the holiday BLING!! Love love love it!! So I decided to get a head start before the madness kicks in and did a convenient online booking for 10:30am with Albee and was so excited, it's at a convenient location on Beretania right after One Kalakaua with private parking lot and how can you not get giddy as you enter the pink palace filled with beautiful decor. I waited as Albee I imagined was busy on her phone which I didn't mind and waited a few minutes and as she got started was still on her phone and apologized but I seriously didn't mind as we all are constantly multi tasking in some form which I why I wanted to get this done. I booked a pedi with art so that they're aware and not upset that I changed services or whatever and showed her a couple of inspired pictures and she didn't seemed impressed. I wanted a dark red glittery base with some silver gradient color she said no can't do glitter on glitter and went on to cut my nails without asking...mind you I was growing it for over a month just for this purpose. It was cut SHORT AND CROOKED!! Also nicked my cuticles and painted the ugliest flat red with a fade a five year old would do better. Paid $50 ($45 service + $5 art) and had the nerve if I was gonna leave tip which I did because I believe in that. There was nothing she agreed with me not the color I chose, no glitter polish, no art, she chose the color, no customer service but I certainly guarantee one thing...No Thanks!! Sorry I interrupted your phone call. read more

This review is for the $90 fluffy eyelash promotion. If you are thinking of getting eyelash extensions from here to save some money- DO NOT COME HERE. I wish I listened to the other 1 star reviews about their lash extension experience but I saw how many 5 star reviews they had, so I decided to take my chances. And boy did I lose out on $120 (including tip) ~ they looked nice right after it was done. I believe they always have this promotion so the lash tech that is in training can practice on people. The lash tech was really sweet but unfortunately her technique was not so sweet...so far it's ONLY BEEN ONE WEEK and the extensions are ALREADY FALLING OFF LIKE CRAZY ~ I saw a previous 1 star review mentioning how her extensions came off within days and I just thought she was overreacting. Within a few days, I started to notice that only my lash extensions were coming off. I don't think she used enough glue because normally my extensions fall off due to my natural lashes falling out, but in this case it was just the extensions coming off. Also, another issue was that she glued too many extensions together or put too heavy of an extension on my natural lashes. My natural lashes were coming off with BIG CLUMPS of extensions glued together. (If you put too much weight on your natural lash, it puts stress on it and your natural lash will just fall out ~ shouldn't a lash technician know this since this is her area of expertise?) I attached photos of some of the lashes that fell off. You can see how thin my natural lash is and how she clumped too many extensions on it. read more

Hello bombshell is practically my home away from home. I love that you're able to get all services done here. Nails, lashes, facials, waxing etc. I come here specifically for my nails and lashes and I don't think I can go anywhere else! I love that there's ample parking, the decor is very modern and bright. All of the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming and I just love the salon overall. Rina (the owner) does my nails and she absolutely kills it whenever she does. She's so talented and she really does take her time to make sure that what you're getting is really what you want. She's a great conversationalist and she's so friendly. She makes it feel like you're just sitting down and talking with one of your girlfriends. Rina will answer any questions you have and even advised me what to look out for if I should ever go to another salon (never gonna happen). Alyssa does my lashes and she's incredibly talented and such a sweetheart. Again, she's literally like just one of your girlfriends that you're talking to. When I first walked in for my volume full set, I just told her that I wanted my eyes to look bigger and I wanted them really long (I did 13's before but wanted longer). She worked with my eye shape and styled my lashes so that my eyes really popped and didn't look like the lashes were weighing my eye down. I've already gone back to Alyssa 3 times and I've loved it EVERY SINGLE TIME! The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the service. They even offer a blanket just Incase you get cold while being pampered. I say give them a try and you won't regret it! I love every set of lashes and nails I walk out with! read more

My GO TO for my gel nail and pedi. Rina the owner of the business is so sweet and funny! I've been coming here since this place opened and can't believe it's been over a year! Such a cute name for the place! Clean, friendly and affordable. Rina is my go to for my nails all the time and of course she never disappoints. Whenever I go to a different nail salon, a few days after the gel already starts peeling off.. but Rina's product latest forever! She can do any designs if you have a picture. You guys won't get disappointed if you guys go to Hello Bombshell and will definitely leave happy after! read more

I had my nails done with Tiffany. She did a superb job! It was probably the prettiest nails I've ever had. I've got so many compliments on the nail designs. @tiffany_0027 is her work instagram, recommend checking it out! I will post two photos of my nails, one is immediately after and one is current (1 month after). No chips at all! Book with her! read more

This place is cute and I love how they have their own private parking lot. I don't have to fight for street parking. Anyways, I did my nails for my friends birthday last week Thursday. The lady who did my nails was super nice and sweet, however it's only been a week and my nails are already chipping. I got a gel manicure. I like to get gel manicures because they last longer. Usually 2 weeks. This is the first time I got gel manicure and they chip in a week. This is an update.... so I went back because they contacted me to redo my nails. So you guys know they some sort of warranty. If your nails don't last a week they will redo it for. When I went back I got a gel manicure. No design this time. Just one color and it turned out nice. I wanted to wait a week before I posted an updated review to see if they last. This place is cute and all. The only thing I don't like is they don't have chairs together so if you go with a friend you two are not able to sit together. Other then that my nails are nice. And I'm LOVING the color. read more
Loooooveeeee coming here! From booking my appointment to finding the building; everything was so easy. I booked my appointment on my yelp app using the link provided on hello bombshells page. My first appointment was a sugaring session with Rina. I've never done sugaring before but I heard it was more beneficial than waxing so I figured to give it a try. They also do nails, eyelash extensions, eyebrow tint and wax. So as I'm heading there google maps tells me to take the freeway from salt lake then take the cut off by Kapi'olani Medical Center and proceed to south Beretania street. Be sure to drive slowly because you may easily miss the building. It's located on the left side right after foodland and there is a pink sign in the grass that has Hello Bombshell. Enter and enjoy free parking! Once I walked in, I noticed how good it smelt. I was greeted by Rina who asked if I needed to use the restroom and she showed me the way. Walked in the restroom and it was gorgeous! You could tell they really invested in upkeeping their salon. Once done Rina met me in my room. She was quick. My appointment was supposed to be 30 minutes I believe but she was done with me in 10-15. I enjoyed their salon so much I looked into the other services they provided and asked Rina a few questions about their eyelash services. A few days later I was booking my eyelash extensions with Mya! Would you believe me if I told you I came here twice within the week?! Well I did! I met with Mya this time for my eyelashes and she was super sweet! Very informative with the eyelash styles. This place is like a home away from home, so peaceful and serene. I fell asleep while she did my lashes! I normally don't do that lol. Two weeks later, I was booking my eyelash refill with Mya and guess what? I fell asleep again! She is so awesome. Oh annnnddd - they also have specials that are cost efficient! Book an appointment - you won't regret it! read more

Embrace yourself, what I'm about to tell you is something worth reading. From the moment I decided to book an appointment at hello bombshell, I have been pleased. Not only did the amazing Valentine deals catch my eye, but also the many positive reviews about this place with such a cute name. I have always been interested in getting my eyelashes extended. I decided to browse around on Yelp, there were many many many places I have bookmarked because I was interested, and most were priced fairly. How lucky I was, to stumble upon "hello bombshell" at just the right time! 50 dollars for a full set of eyelashes and 45 dollars for a mani?! Sounds like a deal to me! I booked my appointment, and silly me... For some reason I was having issues with the whole booking that I booked myself three times. That's how excited I was! I received a courtesy text from someone who works at hello bombshell to follow up on my appointment and cancel the extra appointments I had booked on accident. Whomever was texting me, I believe it was rina, was so sweet and very accommodating with my appointment request! She is such a nice person, and took me in at 2:15 for my eyelashes even though it was supposed to be at 5:00... And because I had plans, she was nice enough to do my eyelashes for me. She also explained to me because she isn't a junior lash artist, she usually charges more... But she was so nice enough to charge me the special price! Upon arriving, I was nothing but pleased. It's a beautiful relaxing salon, fairly new. Do keep in mind that it's kind of hidden in a pink corner building, so drive slowly after taking that right turn passing kapiolani hospital. If I didn't drive slowly, I'm sure I would have missed the turn. Anyways, rina did my eyelashes, and I am more than pleased. She did an awesome job and in the near future, I will definitely be going to her again. And as for my nails, Jordan helped me... And she is so good at what she does. They are such sweet girls, and i will be totally honest, once you come here... You will definitely want to come back again! read more

I've gone to this place two separate times and have left absolutely satisfied with their service! First I went to receive a facial and body scrub. It was my first time receiving a body scrub so I was a little nervous but I am so happy that I did it! They use amazing products that left my skin feeling softer than a baby's bottom! I felt so refreshed and amazed. I had Landai giving me my facial and body scrub! She is so delicate and efficient and the sweetest! I highly recommend going to this salon for facials and body scrubs! The second time I went, I went to get my nails done by Rina. She did a fabulous job! I had really weak, broken, and short nails. I wanted to get stiletto gel extensions and she did a fabulous job with making my nails stronger. I wasn't sure what design I wanted but Rina was so sweet with asking about what I like and don't like. I ended up getting a soft Blue glittery nail style since I was going to vegas that week. It was perfect! Also, I have never done blue before so I was nervous but I am in love with the look. Overall, this salon is very cute and clean! The workers are so delicate and the sweetest people ever who really care about your body. Highly recommend :) read more

I absolutely adore this cute salon! Clean modern interior decor filled with comfy couches when you check in. I've been to many different nail salons but the customer service here is exceptional. They offer different nail services, waxing and the best part: eye lash extensions! My go to lash stylish is Rina Ruff and I can't express how much I love her work. I come in here and come out happy every single time I've been here. She is so patient, fun and great to talk to the 2 hours I'm here flies by like nothing! I always get the fluffies full set and with the different length options there is something to fit every single persons desires! I've even gone back to her every time I needed a fix or if I wanted something a little extra filled in and she has always been accommodating to my needs. Go check out her beautiful work and pay a visit to this business if you wanna come out looking amazing! read more
I love trying new places and I've had my eye on Hello Bombshell on IG for a few months. (@hellobombshellhawaii) Online the salon looked cute, the nails looked great, it's in town with parking- so promising! so when I saw a deal on sculptured acrylic extensions I jumped on it and scheduled online for the next morning. I waited to write my review to see how they held up. They grew out to an embarrassing length, nothing broke, nothing chipped and I just let it go cause it still looked great. then there was a deal on unlimited nail art... I've been back about 3 times now. I had other options but the ease of scheduling online was tooooo easy to pass up. The deals change so if you keep an eye on it, you can potentially get a great deal. Rina's always prompt, friendly, doesn't roll her eyes at me for taking 3 years to pick a glitter color. She has more glitters, colors, stickers, stamps, charms, do-dads than any other nail place I've been. Possibilities are endless! It's hard to find a place that won't just give you what's in the picture, but gets to know you and your style, and has their own artistry to make suggestions and changes to fit you! My nails last the excruciatingly long time I take between visits (student loans do not allow for 3 week visits!). It's a big place, I'm curious about the other services! I have a job with jewelry where people look at my hands all day and there's photos of my hands everywhere- every time someone asks, I wholeheartedly recommend Rina and Hello Bombshell ! read more

This place is amazing! They have special deals which I took advantage of. I wanted the $40 deal for a gel manicure with either glitter gradient or nail art, and I got just that!! The manicure isn't what I'm used to. There was no lotion or massage involved in the basic one. It was just nail care. Rina was very gentle with my nails. She had so many colors for me to choose from, and when I said I wanted a beachy theme for the nail art, she knew exactly what to do. She has so many charms and glitter colors and picked some shells, rhinestones, and pearls for me. She also made a bubbly texture before putting the charms on. She has an amazing attention to detail! My nails came out perfect. Exactly what I wanted!! Thanks, Rina! It was a little hard for me to find because I found myself in the parking lot for the apartments which are 1448 and 1450 S. Beretania St. The salon is 1449. The salon is in the pink part of the building on one end of the apartment parking lot, and all the stalls there outside of the shade are for the businesses in the pink building part. read more

I've been coming here since November. At first I wanted to see what it was like and to see if this was something I would do regularly. From my first visit, I truly liked the end result and Rina works fast and thorough. Naturally I was nervous and not knowing what to expect, she definitely put me at ease and answered all my questions truthfully. I have never waxed before so I can't compare pain levels. But after some research, sugaring seems to be the better of the two. Sugaring doesn't stick to the skin like waxing does, so it only removes the hair. I don't mind the procedure because Rina is quick, thorough and very professional. The room that I get worked on is very clean, quiet, and private. This location also does other things like lash extensions and nails. You have to take a look at their website to see the other services and their prices. To me, it's totally worth it. I do plan on returning to keep up with it. read more

Hi! Thank you for your inquiry. I haven’t been taking any new clients for the past 5ish years, and currently do not have any plans to open my books to new people at all. I do have an amazing co-worker that does beautiful nails though! Her name is…
