I contacted them with the request, "Help me get brows!" and Candice immediately responded - it was within the hour! She said "no problem, we can do all types of tattooing" and I proceeded to book a consultation. I've never heard of a studio doing consults to make sure you're choosing the right procedure so I really appreciated this. When I met with Candice, not only was she really sweet and personable but very knowledgeable, as well. She recommended the Suji eyebrows for $495. That was another shock - the price! I've had friends pay upwards of $700 for their brows but the Suji technique was only $495. I immediately booked my appointment. Candice kept in touch with me up til the day of the appointment. I got there and she explained the procedure and we began. She put in a lot of time and effort to drawing the perfect shape and matching color and I trusted her 1,099%! Candice was very meticulous and such a perfectionist, which I completely appreciated. She numbed my brows and then the tattooing began. It was painless (I wish I had been numbed for all 35 of my tattoos lol). And quick! 45 minutes later, I got up and I had a set of beautiful and amazing brows...for the first time in 15 years! I couldn't believe it. All throughout the procedure, Candice would check on me to make sure I was still numb or that I liked what she was doing. I got exactly what I wanted and so much more! The difference Candice's brows have made to my face is phenomenal! And it's cut down getting ready each morning. Candice is very personable, friendly, understanding, caring, and overall, a real professional! She even stayed in touch with me post-tattoo to make sure everything was okay. I love my brows. Her space is quiet and soothing and impeccably decorated. Tami quickly cleaned up and tinted my brows - I'm fair/blonde/blue-eyed so the color is always a bit tricky - too dark and I'm Clara Delevingne - too light and I'm, well, invisible brow woman. And I wear contacts so my attempts at "grooming" my brows is actually laughable. I've now got "brow style and color" that looks great all the time! I was so pleased with her brow work that I returned for the lash tint/perm - that's right - I went all out! It was definitely a new experience - lash perming! - who knew? But the end result is AMAZING. I've now got some dark long lashes, great brows and am really hoping she can tattoo my lips (just kidding - I think - is that a thing too?!)! Everything is pain-free and you know she knows what she's doing. Her prices are great for how much work she puts into tweezing and waxing every little hair. The space is conveniently located on the second floor of the PanAm building so there's plenty of parking and it is really easy to find (follow signs for PanAm building annex) and is really cute and super clean! I will never go back to strip wax. Terri has many years of experience and educated me on the difference between strip and hard wax. The biggest difference is the pain associated with wax, and with hard wax - it's a minimum! After my wax, it doesn't even feel like I've been waxed. Apart from the pain it is how the wax pulls the hair so that it gets it completely from the root. After a year with Terri, my hair is growing back less and thinner.
