They spent a lot of time on my lashes and was able to get it nice and healthy from recovering from having lash extensions for a long time. My lashlift and eyebrow shaping takes 45 minutes total. There is a discount if you do a combination of services. My services came out to 90 something. Completely worth it. My lashes are evenly lifted and lasted nearly 8 weeks. She does my brows while my lashes are setting. It's perfect. The office space is a little hard to find - she has signs in the hallway. When you're looking at the entrance to Longs take the staircase to your right to the top floor. Then try to stay as much as possible to the right of the building. It'll be around the corner. She also sells lash serums but doesn't pressure you into one or the other. I'm so happy with her and my lashes. read more

Love this place! Like many, I've tried everything... and I mean everything to get those long and beautiful, curly eye lashes. From lash curlers, extensions, and bottles and bottles of mascara, nothing is as low maintenance, cost efficient, and effective as a lash perm in my opinion. Mascara can get runny, eye lash extensions and I have a love hate relationship, I'm a constant eye rubber, and most times I don't wake up early enough (nor do I have the patience) to put on make up. Thank the beauty gods for BeautiGoddess Lash Studio's Esther because she is heaven sent! Personable, friendly, gentle, and kind are only a few words to describe her. She went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable, relaxed, and ready to perm my very straight and downward facing eye lashes. The whole entire process was relatively quick and easy. I made an appointment online, masked up and came to my appointment, laid down where she told me to, and closed my eyes. I lost track of time while I was in the studio but I'm pretty sure I was in there for less than 40 minutes. The entire lash perming/lash lift process took only 30 minutes. Parking was pain free, as this studio is located in the office areas above the Palolo/Kaimuki Times. Head toward Cookie Corner, go up the stairs right in front of Cookie Corner, go straight then make two rights at the end of the hallway and you're there! The perming chemicals take about 24 hours to cure and set and have so far lasted me about 3.5 weeks (depending on your eye lash cycle). Because this process is on your own eyelashes, the curl goes away as your eyelashes fall out on their own. read more

Liz has now moved from her original spot to a much larger place with tons more parking at 3221 Waialae Ave #305. It's on the third floor above Fairwood Ramen and American Savings Bank. Only a short drive away from where she originally was, but I do like the new location better. The new space is really spacious and a huge upgrade to her old spot. Nice a/c and more styling chairs. Love the new decor and the new set up. Tons of parking on Sundays when I go, but I know parking can be a little harder on weekdays. The prices have gone up a bit to $55, but if you're a loyal & repeat customer you can get the exclusive semi-annual package deals to save. :) I go religiously every 6 weeks, and it's good to book an appointment way ahead of time since she books up quickly and only works certain days. read more

I got my lashes permed. When I was looking for this place, it was REALLY hard to find. No sign no directions. Basically you park in this small lot that only has like 4 stalls, and you go up the stairs and walk all the way to the back to a door which opens to this place. If the lady didn't meet me outside of the building, I would not have found this place. As for the service, I think it was ok. My right eye doesn't look like it's been permed though. I think I just have hair that's hard to perm. I see some people with super nice lashes... but even if I perm my lashes, I won't get that glamourous look because they are short. At least the lashes are out of my eyes now... kinda. Would I go back? Meh... it's expensive and I didn't really get that DAMN that was good feeling. read more

Eyelash perm? What's that? Is it safe? I heard about eyelash perms as an alternative to using an eyelash curler on a daily basis & was curious to try it. Eyelash curlers never result in a perfect curve & seem to crimp my lashes even with the best curlers ( Shu Uemura, Shiseido, Tweezerman). After reviewing business who offered this service on Yelp, I chose BeautiGoddess. My first appointment was with Michael J, who is super nice & has a gentle disposition. I liked the results & they last about 6-8 weeks & I periodically returned to have my lashes permed to a perfect curve. I learned that partial eyelash extensions are available through Liz. I've had the eyelash lift (the lash perm) performed by Liz with partial extensions which is a perfect result as it's very pretty without the heavy look of a full set of lashes. Parking is pretty easy in the parking lot of the Times supermarket shopping center on Waialae between 4th & 5th Avenues. The business is located on the 3rd floor. The studio isn't large but had a small entryway that features soft lighting, has some shelves with products for purchase including Revitalash, a lash lengthening product that really works (I have it), two rooms with fully reclined (lie flat) seating and one stylist chair that reclined in a rear area. Weekend appointments are the most challenging to obtain as they are usually booked a month in advance. I started going in the late afternoons instead of weekends. Liz usually works Wednesday through Saturday. I definitely save time getting ready in the morning since I don't need to curl my lashes & can sometimes skip mascara altogether. read more

I hate to leave "bad" reviews... While the customer service is great, I feel like my recent visit warrants this review (I've only gone twice and I've had different artist both times but it was like night and day). I got a lash perm and the artist hadn't asked the shape/curve of the eyelashes and actually noted that he should asked me. Also, I feel like there may have been product slipping into my eye as it started to get irritated through the process (this is something that I take very seriously because I care about my vision). I then was told I had to pay with cash (which wasn't communicated earlier) and it was very awkward when I couldn't leave a tip (he had a great attitude and was very polite!). Lastly, after the perm was done there was still product all over my eyes when I left! It felt so sticky and my eye lids were sticking to each other. When I got to my car I had to clean up my eyes, my vision was a bit blurry, a few of my lashes were crimped as though it was chemically burned (I can't confirm it was chemical, however, the crimp remained for quite some time). It definitely didn't fall the way my lashes did after the first time so I was very bummed. There was great customer service, but I think I will stick with Ari (I had her the first time). read more

My makeup routine has always been super simple - foundation & mascara. I started googling ways to grow my lashes, and even bought a serum. However, I'm not religious about applying it. So I decided to try perming my lashes and found Liz while googling local places. First off, the appointment was super easy to book online and I appreciated the texts/email reminders because not only did it get me pumped that I was treating myself to a session, but I'm also so busy that I need reminders! I booked the Keratin treatment, which is supposed to last up to 8 Second, the salon is so neat and in an easy location with lots of parking. Third, Elizabeth is just amazing! She is so knowledgeable - I asked her a million questions - and extremely pleasant. We talked the entire 45 minutes of the appointment. Here's the most important part - I now LOVE looking at my lashes in the morning. They're perfectly curled & I love that it's my natural lashes. I haven't used a curler or mascara since. Echoing other reviews, but for reals, THE BEST! I've done lash lifts in the past, but from now on, I'm seeing Tani! She is amazing and such a sweetheart! Although sis has been doing extensions for over 5+ years and lifts just for a year or so, she's got the art of lash lift down! She was gentle and put a lot of care to every one of my lashes, even the tiny and hard to reach ones at the corners. You would think my lashes had extensions, but giiirrrlll, all natural, just enhanced with a little lift to the heavens! I also went in for a brow lamination. I was reluctant because I've never done a brow lamination before and my skin tends to sway on the sensitive side, but I'm glad I took the chance! I parked in the front of a tax business? in a little lot that looked residential. go up the stairs, there's signs to reassure you Beautigoddess is within ! it's easy. once inside the room is calm and pretty. she was very gentle and friendly without pushing conversation, I'm shy and I'm one of those people that need to concentrate on not moving, I talk with my face haha. the 45 minutes was relaxing but when I think too hard about not moving, I twitch, and I'm sure I messed up something, but it still looks great! I'll report back when I see how long my perm lasts before my 2nd treatment but I'm happy with it as of now ! It was my first time getting a lash lift so I was a bit hesitant at first since there were no reviews on Yelp that mentioned her, so let me be the first :) My whole experience here was very satisfying. Just like the other Yelper's reviews, one word can describe Liz: amazing. I contacted her via e-mail and we made my appointment with her that same day. She also sent a confirmation e-mail so you know you're in. I didn't wait long either...it was about a two week wait. I've never had my lashes permed and Liz made the experience comfortable. She explained everything prior/during/after the process. I also was growing out my eyebrows and she cleaned them up while I was waiting for my perm to be finished. The atmosphere is calming and Liz is a delight to talk to. After everything was done, I was amazed at the results! I bought the Japanese lash serum as well and it works well as a base and as a clear mascara. It's been about two weeks...going onto three...since I visited her and my lashes still look amazing. I've tried almost everything to make my eyelashes look like the ones on those mascara commercials--from $200 eyelash extensions to heating my eyelash curler and burning my eyelids, nothing seemed to work. I'm a low-maintenance type of gal; all I need are brows and a cat-eye & I'm good to go! I found this place through Groupon and I told myself: why not? It was about $40 for a treatment that was almost $70 based on the prices on the website. What a steal, right?! I booked an appointment without hesitation because what can I lose? I've researched a ton on the positive and negatives of getting a last lift & the positives outweighed the negatives. I booked an appointment with Elizabeth on a Friday afternoon and when I walked in, the ambience was very intimate and relaxing, with soft jazz playing in the background. When you open the door, the wind chimes notify the beauticians when a customer came in so all you have to do is sit on the chair and wait for them to sign you in. Elizabeth was super sweet and walked me through all the steps for a lash lift. The entire process took about 30 minutes and I couldn't be happier with the results!!! In the beginning, there was a slight discomfort to my eyes when she started applying the perm but I think it's because the fumes were irritating a sensitive area since she is working with chemicals. Other than that, it was very relaxing and I was so excited to see my lashes all curled & lifted. My almond-shaped Asian eyes look brighter and bigger with the lashes curled up (although it does tickle my eyelids but it's so worth it) so I'm hoping it lasts for at least a month, compared to my extensions that fell off within a week... If the longevity of these lashes are up to my standard, I will DEFINITELY book another appointment with her! read more
