I'm in town visiting a friend for my birthday and wanted to get my lashes done. I found this place on Yelp and they were so great in being able to accommodate my appt on short notice (3 days in advance). Parking was free. And it was relatively easy to find (no windows, but a door with the sign next to the parking). Judy is so warm and welcoming and the studio was styled so beautifully. I laid down on the cushiest most comfortable bed I've ever had at a lash studio and was provided with a blanket for added comfort. During the application she would check in with me to make sure I was ok and if I needed to use the restroom (not overly attentive where you feel annoyed just enough to be respectful and thoughtful). I had a full set done with volume lashes and she was incredibly attentive and diligent in her application. At the end, she went thru carefully to ensure the lashes were perfect, even reapplying a couple that I probably wouldn't have even noticed. I appreciate lash technicians who are dedicated to their craft as Judy is. I absolutely love my lashes. They were exactly what I wanted. I've always wanted to get eyelash extensions but I was scared to after hearing horror stories (it's painful, real Lashes falling out, etc), so I held off on getting them all this time until I got a consultation with Vera and I'm so glad I finally did it! First of all Vera is super sweet (and gorgeous!) and a great conversationalist. She explained everything to me in detail from what to expect to different options based on what look I wanted, and how to care for them to make them last and how to remove them after. Her salon is clean and comfortable and she even offered different blanket options to make sure I was comfortable throughout the session, and she even checked in with me the day after, to make sure I was ok and If I needed anything else. This is the first time I'm having my eyelashes extended. I was doing a lot of research before choosing here. I was looking for a more natural result and I saw all the natural looking eyelashes pictures here so I decided to come try. Parking was not bad, I just parked at Safeway across the road and walked there. The atmosphere was really nice and relaxing. Can't forget to mention the chair was really comfy. In entering the shop, it has a clean, modern, elegant decor. The staff (Olivia, Saori & Kevin) are very polite, friendly, and helpful. The cash only transactions helps to minimize the cost. They sale Blinklash conditioner & Noir mascara specifically made for eyelash extensions. The mascara is wonderful!! It brushes on evenly without clumping and it washes off easily with water. I've tried eyelash extensions only and tried the various styles and types of eyelashes. It could be a bit overwhelming to choose what you want, but Olivia and Saori are very helpful with narrowing down your decision. All I know is at the end of the appointment, I'm very pleased with what I see and I keep coming back for more. Eyelashes truly enhance your beauty and I can't live without it now. I've gotten my lashes done at places in both Manhattan and LA, and I am so happy to have found Judy -- she is by far the most impressive! When I was Googling "lashes near me" (like you rn), I was stressed that I wouldn't be satisfied with the final look and then stuck with it -- esp since many lash technicians have their own style that can suit different eye shapes and preferences. Let me just start off with AMAZING! This hidden gem is now my happy place. The staff were very friendly and approachable. They were so helpful and informative with my appointments. I booked a Brazilian Sugarring with Moani and eyelash extensions with Erika Luna. I was a noob to both of these services but I immediately fell in love and looking forward to my next appointment. Brazilian Sugar- first off Moani is super sweet and immediately makes you feel comfortable (since Brazilians aren't the most comfortable thing to do for women) which I feel, should be a must for your waxer/sugarer. I didn't know what to expect from sugarring but now I'm never going back to waxing. There are so many benefits compared to waxing and immediately after there's no pain and my sensitive skin didn't swell, turn red or have bumps. The whole process was actually pretty fast, maybe 20 minutes so I mean if your looking for a great job and your on the go, I'd definitely look into sugarring with moani. Also the sugar dissolves with water so after your done there's no messy, sticky clean up. Skin feels smooth and breathable. Eyelash extensions- Erika Luna was so helpful with helping me decide which lash and style would help me achieve the look I wanted. The way she was explaining the types of lashes and how their applied really made me aware of how much they care about the health of your natural lashes. She informed me of how to care for your lashes and what to avoid if you want to elongate your lash wear. I first booked an appointment for mink lashes, but as we were comparing different lash styles I asked to do russian volume instead. Although the Russian volume took longer to apply she was able to change my extensions instead of having me reschedule. The location of a salon is across the street from the new Safeway in town and it's a little hard to find. I had to park at Safeway and walk across the street because j missed the entrance to their building. The inside of the salon is small but very cute! Who ever decorated did a good job. The girl who did my wax was really good. It was so damn sore! Not gonna lie I was on the brink of tears a few times but she said my "healthy" aka thick AF hairs was why. Lol. Either way she did a great job removing everything and was very knowledgeable on the ingredients of the products they used. Which were all natural which I like. I really wish I remembered her name SO SORRY!! But all in all awesome service from the ladies I encountered. :) The only down side is the price. There are a few other 5 star sugaring places that price their services at a set price. I'll probably check them out just because i ended up paying $10 more then their starting price. read more

Wonderful customer service by the owner Olivia. Upon reading my initial review she immediately contacted me to change my mind about their services. One thing that Olivia did this time that the first tech didn't was that she gave me a quick tutorial about the lash lifecycle and she even had very handy laminated 'flashcards' to show the more technical terms. I think this should be shown to every lash newbie to set expectations up front. I definitely see the difference in workmanship with a Jr. Tech and having Olivia do it herself. Not that the Jr tech's work was bad but ya know...it's like if you were to ask Michael Jackson or Tito Jackson to do the moonwalk; any guesses who'd do it 10x better? Regardless I'm super impressed at the business owners dedication to her business by reaching out to me in this way. First of all, she is a true professional.  She is constantly winning contests such as the golden tweezers for her craft and consistently learning great safe techniques for us feel beautiful.  I don't even check in the mirror after each session.  Her eyelash extension work is THAT OUTSTANDING.  Furthermore, she put on Hawaii's first and only eyelash extension competition called Lash Crown.  I was fortunate to be able to attend this prestigious event and she even had participants all the way from Japan learning her training! She's also licensed and super duper clean and always up to date on the latest with professional development. Secondly, Olivia's work is just hands down the best.  I have had 5 different professionals comment about my lashes and how amazing they are on 5 separate occasions.  1 makeup artist, 2 eyebrow stylists, and 2 facialists.  These were individuals from all different islands and they all remarked how clean, and precise the work was.  Many of them told me this the week I was going back for a fill!  To have other professionals comment about the excellence of your work has got to be the highest form of flattery.  All of them wanted Olivia's name and info to refer clients to. I tried in vain to copy this look but it JUST WASN'T WORKING! Umm..kind of hard to do the flutter with no eyelashes. I mean I've got lots of em...and they're thick...but they're super short and stubby. After years of mascara that took 15 minutes to apply and crimping and cutting off my lashes with Shu Uemura curlers I finally found the solution! And guess what? My eyelashes are healthier than they ever have been in ages and I've got tons more boundaries set and people are appropriate around me. YES!!! This review has been a long time coming. I love love love Olivia at Beauty Art Aesthetics! Olivia always makes my lashes perfect. I don't even look in the mirror when I'm done. That's how good she is. Other aestheticians I see regularly for waxing or brows often ask me where I get my lashes done and then say, "I asked because it looks so natural like they are you own.. but better". That's a huge compliment in itself when someone in the field compliments another professional's work. The other thing I love is that Olivia's lashes last really long. 3 weeks later it still looks great as long as you follow her care instructions and don't get it wet for 24 hours after and clean it with baby shampoo regularly. Also when using false eyelashes for video or photo shoots she recommended I place them a bit higher saying they would save my lashes and that the gap wouldn't be seen on camera. I took her word for it because she is a modeling pro and she was right as usual! The best thing about it is that her energy energy is really awesome. First time ever trying eyelash extensions! Erika did an amazing job. I explained to her what I wanted at the start and she executed it perfectly. (Long and full, but no stripper lashes!) The spa itself was really peaceful and relaxing! I fell right asleep during my apt., then woke up with luscious lashes. If you're hesitant, don't be. For me personally, it didn't hurt or irritate me at all. Erika has such light hands and works with such finesse. I could barely feel what was going on! Jayci at Beauty, Art, Aesthetics made me go from a 3 to a 9.5 in just a couple of hours!! *insert heart eyes emoji* Joking aside, the quality and care I received from Jayci was top notch.
